Great support. I showed up with a question...turns out I was asking the wrong question, so instead of just saying "it doesn't work like that" (which I've experienced, which I'm pretty sure we've *all* experienced) they gave me the answer to the real question I should have been asking and then a couple suggestions beyond that for what I was trying to accomplish. Excellent hosting and tech support

I support the IT needs of my wife's sole legal practice, and use Dreamhost for mail and website hosting. I have rarely needed tech support, which obviously speaks for itself on the quality of their services. On the few occasions I have needed their assistance they have been prompt and very helpful. In particular, recently the amount of space required to store our email far exceeded Dreamhost's 25 GB limit. I was given several weeks advance notice to fix the problem, and when I requested information and assistance, Luis V. was responsive, understanding and capable. While I would like the option to increase individual user's storage capacity, I recognize that Dreamhost has business reasons for maintaining that limit.
I can enthusiastically recommend their services to any individual or small business with minimal coding or computer skills.

I've been with Dreamhost since 2008, on a shared hosting account where I ran a small web design business. One of the first things I noticed was their home-baked admin system, and how much easier it was to set things up as compared to the traditional cPanel. Not only that, their tech support was incredibly responsive, especially given I live in Australia. Their professional services are reasonably priced and really handy since I've been moving out of the web business into other things.

In short, Dreamhost isn't just a catchy name chosen by marketers to hoodwink the unwary. They're the real thing: a hosting company that makes it a dream to run a website.

Excellent service

I've been using DreamHost for about 3 years now and I can definitely say I recommend it and will come back for future websites. I just closed the account as I won't need the rest of the year's hosting plan, but just because I don't need the website anymore. The dashboard is very easy to use and has a great user experience. Everything went very smoothly for me and when I had any questions, I contacted support and they were very responsive. I could say they have one of the best support system and team I experienced on any web service. Definitely recommend it!
