“We don’t care” attitude at DeWaard & Bode
We have purchased three big ticket items from DeWaard and Bode (over $25K) located in Bellingham Washington. All three items have had major Issues that required multiple trips to fix each one. The last one, a Kitchen Aid over-range microwave/convection oven, stopped functioning all together. We use it daily. A technician came to our home on December 4th and could not fix it and had to order a new primary circuit board. Since then, we have heard nothing. We called them yesterday and no one ever called back. We went to the store today and in simple terms they said “tough luck” we won’t do anything. The part is back-ordered and there’s no estimated availability date. Christmas is upon us. We need it working or we will be facing serious problems preparing for our family get together. DeWaard and Bode does not care bout that. We will never buy from them again and recommend you do not do so as well.

…a different experience
sure had a different experience than most I guess. Range hood purchase, mismeasured, woopsie another $200 for an extension, sorry it’ll be 6 weeks before we can install the extension. Day of install called to get an ETA a few times in voicemail black hole, no call back. Called again late day, told no idea. Last call finally promised installer would call. No call yet. I’ve got a sensitive dog to take off premises while they install. Is there a reason I didn’t use Judd and Black. My builder recommended Dewaard- I can’t recommend them. Too many errors that cost me time and money

I took delivery of an electric range…
I just now took delivery of an electric stove. My experience with DeWard and Bode has again been outstanding. This is my third purchase from your Burlington, WA store: a washing machine and a dishwasher. All appliances have performed flawlessly, but it is the personel I want to commend you on. Nathan, the salesman, listened and answered all my questions, giving me all the time I needed to make the best selection for me.
The delivery was seamless. John and Justin were friendly and
helpful. Even helping me clean the area for the new stove! I don't even bother shopping at other stores as I know I'll find what I need with the help of your outstanding employees. Thank you, DeWard and Bode for your exceptional service.

Mitch above and beyond the call of duty
Mitchel came to my home and did a terrific job repairing my dryer. He was extremely efficient and did the job in no time, obviously well trained. This guy deserves a big raise and is a tribute to DeWard & Bode. I can't say enough about the quality of this employee.

A great team
The two Gentlemen, Jacob and Nate K. made the delivery of our new refrigerator a very stressless affair. They were a little early, but we were ready, and they proceeded to do prep work in their truck as we
finalized the cleanout of our old refrigerator. Both Jacob and Nate have great people skills, which, has become a rare trait in the business world. They also worked well together maneuvering the old fridge and
bringing in the replacement and setting it up.
DeWaard and Bode are lucky to have such great young people on their payroll.
A side note. Although this part of our order was done well, we were sent the wrong model as it did not have the inside water dispenser.

I was shopping for new appliances for…
I was shopping for new appliances for my kitchen and I mentioned I needed a new washer and dryer. Jeff K was helping me and showed me the LG Thin Q. I told him I swore I would never buy a front loader again. He said this was the set he has and he gave me some pointers on how to use it. So I brought the set. It was delivered and set up. I love this machine. It washes my big comforter with ease. The dryer does its job very well also.
I highly recommend shopping at DeWaard and Bode. Jeff K was very knowledgeable about their products! I’m a very happy customer!!

We were in need of high quality…
We were in need of a high quality refrigerator. Couldn't find what we wanted until we went to DeWaard & Bode. Jake met us at the door and got us right were we wanted, found the just right LG Fridge. Within 30 minutes we were loaded up and out the door. Him and Nathan were super great to work with. Very happy!

In the past we have had good…
In the past we have had good experiences with DeWaard and Bode. This time, though, a range we ordered was delayed by almost two months. Then, when time came to install, the guys were not very careful, and the range top was broken during the install. So, no new range. Need to hear back from them about the solution, but I am afraid it will be another long wait for the same range. Installers need better experience.
