Terrible. Bought a 1500 euro fridge that stopped working within the guarantee period. Tried to call them and they told me they “didn’t deal with that brand”. Sent emails and told they would get an engineer booked. Never did! Had to buy a temporary fridge and then find, and pay for, my own engineer. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. If I could give zero stars I would.

Ordered a oven from Curry’s, waited in all day Saturday and they delivered a dishwasher, told the driver take it back and he asked me for a signature, I told him no, tried to contact Curry’s customer service and all I get back is not delivered, what a joke of a company, I paid a person to disconnect the old oven from the mains and leave outside the front door for collection , now that gone as well so now I have to eat out more expense again for me , now I don’t even know when my new oven will arrive, avoid Curry’s if possible not worth the hassle in dealing with them.

I bought gaming pc few weeks ago through currys ie, but the item comes from UK 🤣🤣🤣 but that's the least important. I provided full address and they processed only half of it, although post code was provided at least but dpd still couldn't find my house with post code, it resulted in my pc being shipped back to the sender. On customer support I was told it would take 3 to 5 business days for refund. 2 weeks went by since I was on call with them and item was returned only yesterday and still no refund. What I wasn't notified about is that the refund actually takes another few weeks after it's reached the sender. Ridiculous, not enough information, they tell you one thing and the other is happening. Strongly considering a charge back with my bank. Never ordering anything from currys again, unless they improve their overall service and actually have a stock in irish stores so they dont have to ship from UK and delay delivery time cause of customs. Some people be waiting weeks or months and never actually get the item as far as I've read. Comical.

Awful company - ordered a mouse on June 18th. Tracking showed the item as sitting in a DPD warehouse for 5 days, I contacted DPD myself and they advised it's been returned to the UK and they don't know why. I immediately contacted Curry's support and still no reply from them after 7 days.
Shocking service, issued a chargeback for fraud

It was another fantastic shopping experience with Currys Airside,Swords and this is only because of ALEX (Asst Manager).
Alex is such a fantastic person to deal with who will take care of everything in regards to guiding and explaining about the products and will answer every querry and concern with patience and will give full dedicated attention.
ALEX is what makes the difference and I never look to shop anywhere else as I know with ALEX its always such a nice shopping experience and the products shopped are definitely worth it.
It was shopping EAR BUDS this time for my Wife and Son,had not much idea and detailing regarding it,but ALEX went through everything about the different models and the specifications making it so easy then to select.I had left the decision to choose for us to ALEX and am not at all dissapointed as his selection was perfect.
Have always shopped at Currys Airside for years and its ALEX who is the only reason for it.
If you are looking for Satisfaction and worth your money Currys Airside is the best and look for ALEX and he makes the difference.
Already planning for my next purchase for Dishwasher.
Thanks ALEX for being so nice as ALWAYS.

We visited the Terryland Galway store this evening. I was speaking with Kane earlier and was called away so returned later to get 2 phones which he had kindly set aside for me. When I arrived he was on the phone and a man with red hair spoke with us briefly until Kane was available. We found him quite abrupt in his manner. Then as we were paying we asked if there was a discount as we were buying two together and Kane said he would check but the other possibly supervisor (the red head) interrupted rudely and said no discount on phones he said no no no.
If it was not for Kane being so good to be honest we would have left without the phones. The supervisor needs some customer service training. We were actually embarrassed for Kane and ourselves at the way he spoke. We didn't mind about the discount just didn't like the way he behaved.

I experienced excellent customer service at Currys in Carrickmines. The staff member H, and manager A were helpful and understanding. They took full responsibility for a sub optimal product despite a less than ideal response from the manufacturer and helped me chose a replacement. I will be returning to this shop as a first preference from now on . Thank you Currys

I have had issues with the last two orders placed online. I keep ordering products to collect in store which say in the website are available to pick up. However when i proceed the email confirmation tells me to wait and it needs to be ordered in. My recent order this weekend, payment was taken but the order didn't go through, I've been waiting days to hear about my order.
As an update to this I've contacted currys customer service and they have written to advise they will not refund my money saying it hasn't been taken, despite clear evidence it has and confirmation from the card provider it has been taken by currys.

Extremely bad customer service. I was sold a dishwasher 2 months ago which broke after 2 uses. They refuse to arrange repair or exchange. They do not answer emails for weeks. I had arranged for a manager to call me but they did not call at the time they said they would two weeks ago and I am still waiting. Every time I email it is a different customer service rep answering the email.

I bought a laptop and extras in Curry's Cork with the help of Benlis. I wouldn't have known some of what was available or being good with the setup myself. Benlis was fantastic. He couldn't have been more helpful and was so knowledgeable about everything I needed. He is very professional and his knowledge of tech is the best. Thank you very much Benlis.

Placed an order for two iPhones. Unfortunately, exactly 2 weeks have passed and I still have not received the ordered goods. After making several phone calls, each time I hear a different story. That it is in the customs process, and that it is already on its way, which is a lie. After contacting the shipping company, it turned out that my shipment went to revenue, As it turns out Revenue sent an email to Currys four days ago, and they have yet to receive a reply, can you imagine where these phones could have come from? The company does not actually exist, it is an intermediary who orders the goods for you from nowhere. If I knew that Currys was ordering goods for me I would never have shopped there. The website deceives the customer by offering goods for sale that are not actually in the store. But according to the information it is in the store and will be delivered within 3 to 5 days, this is typical of ripping off the customer to pay and wait for weeks for their purchased goods that they may not see. Customer service is not professional at all, constantly extending so that you just wait patiently for another 5 days and another 5 days and so on. No one knows anything, but the goods I ordered are on their way to the address I provided. Shame, no respect for the customer, zero professionalism. Responding to emails after 3 or 4 days, promising to call you back and of course you can wait for weeks for a call back. I do not recommend to anyone who wants to make normal online purchases. Tomorrow I will contact the central office for consumer protection because this is the second such situation that I have encountered with the Currys Ireland purchasing agent. I think there is no excuse for treating a customer like this in this day and age.

Went to Currys Galway to purchase a Galaxy 16 android. The price was €179.99 which I did not have an issue with however they wanted to charge €55
to transfer the data from my old phone to my new one. Needless to say I did not purchase the phone. I went across the road to the Eir shop and bought the exact same phone for €169.99 which was ten euro cheaper. And the Eir staff very kindly and quickly transferred my data free off charge. Currys have lost a customer.
Update 24th June: Despite Curry's promise to contact me I have not received an explanation or comment as to why Currys would charge €55 to transfer data on an Android phone or why despite their price promise their Androids are cheaper elsewhere. Poor customer service!
