Well first off you supposedly don't take a monster card that has a chip in it. The Mastercard we have does not have a number on the back or front. It has a strip you can swipe or a chip you insert. It's a Mastercard issued via Apple. You took the 300.00 deposit over the phone with it and when it came time to pick up RV from the most racist white people in the suburbs it was a headache, they were rude and proceeded to turn his back and walk away mumbling. I asked him to repeat what he said the other gentleman came out the office and told me to tone it done and I told him to have his partner treat people with respect and I will. His exact words was if you expect to leave here with a Rv Today you will take it down a notch, then he told me that I had the reservation in my name and that the credit card was in my wife's name. So I had to call corporate to add her. I did, but corporate told me they don't accept chip reading cards, 🤦♂️ this 2025 and that is why the security chip is in credit card so that it can't be used fraudulently. So with my wife and I standing there and them and corporate telling us they can help all they can do is refund our deposit back to our card that we had in our hand. Now we are stuck without an RV and a trip that I can not get reimbursement on of $2300.00 due to the fact that when I got done with Healy and cruise America. The rental car locations were closed for the day, someone from corporate needs to make this right. I will check with my attorney and see what can be done to recoup our vacation loss due to cruise America taking our card on the phone and denying it in person. Them men didn't even acknowledge my wife standing there trying to ask a question I seen white racist old men. It may be time for them to retire and move on. And cruise America to get with 2025 times. They would not even allow us to pay the balance in cash which mind you also included the 500.00 security deposit . Sad day. But I will check with an attorney and see if I can recoup our vacation loss from you.

My reservation rep (James) was friendly, courteous and helpful. He answered my questions and made the booking process easy! I’m hoping the experience of actually picking up, driving and returning the RV will be equally positive.

We rented a motorhome from Cruise America for the second time.
The first experience was already bad: leaking toilet, sinks, and kitchen, a broken entry door, a loose mirror, and the RV was not self-contained. But at least the engine worked.
This time was a total failure.
Right from the start, the water pump didn’t work, then the toilet leaked during driving, all the way to the front cabin. Shortly after that, the engine broke down.
We were stranded in a small town in Idaho – with no electricity, no gas, and no transportation.
No Uber, no public transport, and no one-way rental cars nearby.
We had to ask around in the town for help, until someone offered to drive us – after three full days – to the only available rental car several hours away, at a very high price.
Our planned camping trip with reserved National Park campgrounds was ruined.
Some reservations couldn’t be canceled. We had to reorganize the whole trip, book overpriced hotels on short notice (peak season), and throw away all groceries since the gas was out and there was no cooling.
We ended up with thousands of euros in extra costs.
Cruise America offered zero support.
There was no dedicated contact person – just a rotating stream of customer service agents reading pre-written responses.
Polite, but completely useless. They’re not the problem – they’re part of a system designed to avoid all responsibility.
Bottom line:
Two rentals – two disasters.
This time, with serious financial consequences.
Cruise America? Never again.

Like Elizabeth I would give a ZERO at this stage.
Day 1 rang to notify that fridge was not working on electricity as it should when hooked up.
Day 2 the motor AC started leaking freon gas into the RV as we drove: smell of acetone, red eyes, unbreathable, CO alarm going off. Also stopped on the side of freeway to rush all out, family and small children. Was told to drive to a garage, where we spent the rest of the day. Now travelling without AC in Arizona heat.
Day 3 the fridge broke down altogether.
So after spending good money, we are now stuck without AC and without fridge.
Repeatedly asked assistance to be contacted by more senior supervisors/management to discuss options, still no reaction after 2 days, apparently ruining customer vacations is not a concern.

I only tapped one star because we couldn’t give it ZERO. We have been stranded for 5 days without resolution and after numerous calls to their traveler assistance line- who will tell you that keeping a family of 4 on the side of the highway in Glacier National Park blackout is safe. Have been speaking with Jun and Kelli with their travelers assistance program and zero help. It took SIX hours to be towed the first night to a safe location after I had to make multiple other calls. Utterly disgusted. Do not use them

I spent close to $3400.00 for an RV #310090 that didn't even have a TV or a slide out. The valve on the propane inlet was damaged so it was half full when i got it and couldn't use the stove or furnace because i had to conserve so the fridge stayed cool. I drove 10 miles when the tire pressure sensor went off. I had les shwab check the tire pressure and all was good but for the whole trip the sensor went off every 3min.After filling the fuel tank for the first time, the fuel inlet sensor went off and for the whole trip i had two sensors go off every 3min. When it came time to use the generator, it was so loud, other campers could hear it from across the lake and consequently, I spent half my vacation trying to find suitable camping that wouldn't piss off anybody using the generator. The RV was filthy when i picked it up, so I had to clean it before then again after I was done with it. All in all, It was more educational than fun renting from you. On top of that, I told all this to your rep who signed me out that I better not be charged for use of the generator or any extra milage due to all the problems I had but was charged $489.23 anyway. I hope corporate reads this and actually does something to make this right because nobody should have their vacation ruined the way mine turned out. toren maier
