Different colour when arrived.
Ordered a light coloured oak mirror as the photos clearly showed, however, when the mirror arrived it was a dark oak colour and didn’t suit my room. I’ve emailed the customer service team to show them and they’ve replied that they don’t feel there’s a difference. I’ve had to reply and once again show them the difference between their light coloured wood in their photography and the dark one they sent. The first reply they tried to tell me it’s studio quality photography. They seem to believe that it must be like for like. I want to show you the difference because it’s clear as day and night but just so they don’t have to pay for it to be returned they lied. Now, I know British firms are terrible at best but lying is just a no no to me. I have requested a complaint email address from them as I’m genuinely shocked at the poor human level engagement and their personal level of being fair and reasonable. For me, I’ll never shop with them again and I will take my bad word with me to people I know have bought products from them. The more you deter others, the balance certainly goes in your favour as they lose a lot more revenue than the £20 they’re charging to send it back. When will British companies learn this. They’re naive.

Ignored and no delivery - scam?
Not sure if this is beginning to be a scam.
Ordered a rattan light shade on 26th May, still not received it as of 5th July and Cox & Cox company ignoring my multiple emails and Instagram messages for an update, so I’m very confused and concerned.
If it arrives I am also afraid this is now going to be a cheap and low quality product from China as it is taking so long.
Not a pleased customer.

Honestly, just don't bother
Ordered a small product on the 29th May, condisidering the high delivery charge shipping was slow and it arrived a week later. Product was faulty, requested a return on the 3rd June, I finally got my refund on the 4th July, this is simply not acceptable. Customer services are responsive and friendly but it should not have taken a month.

£1330 cabinet has not been delvered!
Ordered a cabinet at the beginning of March and still no information informing me where it mught be. I have emailed 3 times and called them. Nothing. No email. No communication whatsoever despite him saying he would get back to me. Appalling company. Avoid at all costs.

Garden furniture “not suitable for outdoor use”
We purchased garden furniture in July 2024.
By October the varnish was flaking off and black spots appeared all over the wood.
Customer service told us it “wasn’t suitable for outdoor use, and shouldn’t be left out in the rain”.
A legal case is ensuing.
Strongly recommend not to purchase from this company.
Products are not suitable for use and they have dishonest customer care.

Ordered 2 simple deckchairs on the 24th June - I have called for an update on delivery 3 times and nothing until the final time when I was told the 8th July - I hope the order is okay when it arrives as so far service has been poor.

Terrible experience
Terrible experience. Should avoid if you can. Returns policy process if appalling. They try and catch you out and don’t send you a refund. Have reporting to trading standards.
Edit: their bot has replied, but they don’t respond to emails, so they clearly don’t care! Avoid at all costs.

I made a mistake and forgot to add a furniture cover to my order (obviously over excited!). I called up and Fahad answered really quickly, and was so helpful. He immediately arranged for me to be refunded the duplicate shipping costs, no questions asked and no fuss.

Selection of planters and a water feature
I have purchased from Cox & Cox several times over the years and always been happy with the quality and service I have received.
On this occasion I encountered a minor glitch with the payment processing, these things can happen. I spoke to a delightful lady called Baha in customer support and she very quickly tried to rectify the problem.
Sadly through no fault of her own this was not possible. However she assured me that she would endeavour to resolve the matter and contact me when the transaction would be possible.
True to her word, she did follow this up and call me back and we completed the transaction.
She was a pleasure to deal with and clearly an asset to the company.
She is the epitome of what customer support is all about.
I look forward to receiving the items I ordered and will no doubt be ordering from them again in the future.
Baha is a credit to the company and I expect her to be a rising star.

I purchased an outdoor dining set made…
I purchased an outdoor dining set made from acacia wood, which I used for just one season. During the winter, it was covered and stored appropriately outdoors. However, by the following summer, the furniture had already begun to show significant deterioration, including splitting and peeling of the wood.
When I contacted customer service regarding the damage, I was advised that the furniture should have been stored indoors—an unreasonable expectation for outdoor furniture. I am extremely disappointed with both the product quality and the inadequate response from the company’s support team.
