Camerasandparts.com did very good

Recently Cameras and Parts repaired my lens with my Canon G12 camera. It went well. It was finished and shipped to me in days of them getting it. It's working like new with no sign of repair. Their service is really very good. Recommended

Fabulous place!

The Canon G9 we use at our clinic failed. It didn't power up even with a freshly charged battery.

CanerasAndParts.com fixed it in two days. The camera looks like new. It's was cleaned nicely. The experience was just wonderful!

I can truly recommend them with all the confidence in the world. They were really that good and pleasant to deal with. Service like this is really appreciated in this day and age. Thank you much!

Impressed, but one small hiccup

Alright, so my review is almost perfect other than for one small hiccup. Cameras and parts worked on my Canon G10. They did a fine job, repair wise the work was a strong 10 out of 10.

My only gripe was I sent in the battery with the camera and I did not get it back (partially my fault). Their instructional email did say to not send in any accessories and I think it went as far to specify not to send in the battery. I'll take the blame for that one because I forgot to remove the battery before sending it in. I'm only human though, right? When the camera came back to me which was better than fast, the battery wasn't in the box so I couldn't use it.

I contacted Cameras And Parts and they did acknowledge it got to them with the battery and it wasn't shipped back to me. They did rush me out the battery 2 day priority delivery so that was good of them.

I made the error of including the battery by they shouldn't have made a mistake if not getting it back. They're great people, no doubt it was an I eyesight and they got me going quickly. The downside was I didn't get to take my camera on my weekend trip I had planned.

I would say in all other areas, they were as perfect as can be. I was thoroughly happy and satisfied with their service otherwise.

They were just awesome!

I had two camera fixed up by them. The first was my beloved Canon G9 and the second one was an SX50 that had a lens error. The G9 was a camera I got at a yard sale, the came had no power even though I bought a new battery for it. The G12 got dropped months ago but I never looked into getting it fixed.

I had them both repaired at Cameras And Parts. I did them separately because I couldn't find the G12 for awhile. Both times Cameras And Part was extremely quick, repairs and cleaning, service were done in days, shipping back was fast too.

I mistyped my shipping address the first time, they called me to correct this. I spoke to them a length. They were just amazingly knowledgable, did the repairs so perfectly, I would truly recommend this place for repair work.

It takes a lot to impress me, service here was just better than I could have asked for.

Repair service

I am satisfied all the way. The repair service met all expectation and was priced lower than other repair places. Best of all they did the repair well and the problem is fixed. I meant to say I had a lens error on my canon SX40. You won't do better than them for repair service.

Exceptional Service

The situation was my Canon G9 camera had no power. I used Cameras And Parts to have it repaired as I love my camera. The service at this place is exceptional and FAST! Did I say fast? They fixed it in 2 days and it got to us in 3 days after that. The camera was cleaned and is working beautifully too. As a college professor of 34 years, I appreciate courteous people and those who go out of their way to provide good service! That is what I got through them. You get an A+ from me!

On another note, this is a clear problem on the G9 and I'm learning it is also a problem on the Canon G7 as well. Where is Canon to help us? Why do so many of these models get screws inside that are rattling loose and shorting out power on the camera? I suggest Canon step up and do a recall before customers get together and do a class action lawsuit.

This concern has nothing to do with Cameras And Parts. They were exceptional and they told me about the fix they do to the screws inside the camera so I won't have to experience this again. I just wish Canon provided the level of service and expertise as this company does. It will be questionable whether or not I purchase another Canon product again in the future.

Ordered a part

I ordered a battery door for my camera. You'd think it would come with instructions but it didn't. You'd also think it would've easy to install but it wasn't. I did get it installed though after a search for help on YouTube. The service was fine here, fast shipping, good packaging, good price too but with no installation instructions, I'm dinging them a star. I'd still order again though but if ordering a part, I'd have to make sure I'd know how to install it first. Otherwise they were super.

Repaired my Canon G9 Quick Turn Around Tiime

Sent my Canon G9 (No Power) in for repair. My camera was repaired and got back to me in under a week. They even did some extra cleaning service. Now there are do dust on my lens or CCD. Truly Happy with this company.

VERY IMPRESSED, GREAT SERVICE!!!

I've got a Canon Powershot G12 which I love so much! From one day to the next, I turned on the camera to a lens error problem. Basically the lens was stuck and I couldn't get past the lens error message on the screen to even do anything. Cameras And Parts was recommended to me through a friend who works at Best Buy. I'm not sure if Best Buy uses them or if there is any connection but I'll tell you, Cameras And Parts did a fantastic job. The camera was not only repaired, but they cleaned everything on the camera along with all of the other services they include with the repair. Turnaround time was very fast and they didn't charge anything extra for the shipping back to me (though I did have to cover the shipping cost to get it to them). Anyway, the repair and service through them was $89 and well worth it! They provided excellent service and a perfect repair. I would like to recommend them very highly to anyone needing help with a camera. They only work on Canons. Service was just wonderful through them!
