We dealt with Kath Ogden for our sale and purchase and our experience was made so easy, she has been amazing from beginning to end, made the process run really smoothly and was great at keeping us updated. The lady on reception was so welcoming every time we went in to sign our paperwork too.

My review is based on my dealings with Andrew Jinks and his team, their response times and manner.
Divorce can be very difficult, bitter and of some duration and so after 25 years I with the support of Andrew brought final closure by realising my interest in the family home. They were always helpful and understanding that though time had past there were still very difficult emotional ties for me

we were recommended this solicitor. All was OK, until I spoke to giovanna for the first time for an update. Her tone was rude and patronising. Told me it takes 2 days to answer emails. I found her very difficult to speak too due to her manner. Within a few weeks, she eventually told myself and my brother she didn't want to speak to us, only my son. Enquiries took almost a week to deal with. At one point, a restriction was found, which took 4 days to come back, but was for the wrong house!
The whole process took nearly 6 months, for which we did most of the research. The toll it took on my health was difficult.

Wouldn't recommend this company, and definitely not the solicitor.

Used Brearleys for our recent move for the second time in 3 years. Both moves were slightly complex and Lorraine Hoyle was so helpful on both occasions and I would recommend her.

I used Stacey for my conveyancing needs,but mainly engaged with some called Kirsty.
They were definitely not acting in my best interests and when I raised my concerns I was told they couldn't see any problems.
An absolute waste of time and money especially as the potential vendor was a liar.

Just completed a house sale through Brearleys Cleckheaton and I can’t recommend the conveyancing team enough. I transferred to them as I wasn’t happy with the solicitors my estate agent recommended & I’m so pleased I did. Rachel was just fantastic & her team (thank you to Leah) provided us with such an excellent service from start to finish, easy & stress free keeping us informed throughout. Don’t hesitate to use them.

Shifted from one conveyancer to another. Not kept informed of the process. My case started in September 2023 and is still ongoing in April 2024 and I am now at risk of losing my mortgage offer. Terrible service and not easy to make a complaint against.

Using Brearley law for a conveyance in Yorkshire.

Unbelievably impressed by the service we have had!

Even before appointing them to do the conveyance, we had excellent (free) advice - provided immediately after our request.

Since starting the buying process, the service is even better, quite amazing. As an instance I emailed some documents in on a Sunday morning and received confirmation within minutes that they were acceptable.

So pleased we chose Brearley Law, thoroughly recommended.

Jayne was my solicitor and Jill her secretary and both were professional, communicative and considerate throughout.
Jayne was easy to contact and on the few occasions she wasn't available, Jill was able to either give me be the info I needed or to advise when Jayne would next be available to speak with me.

My divorce case was very stressful but the support and advice provided made it that little bit easier. The end result was fair and that's largely down to the high standard of work conducted by Jayne.
