I had a very good experience with Harrison from Bioness. He was very knowledgeable and thorough and he went out of his way to not only make sure that my hand device was able to be used but also made sure that my doctor had sent the prescription for my leg unit as well and then helped me get set up for that unit as well! I absolutely love my Bioness H200 and can’t wait to get my hands working again! Thank you so much for your help.

I absolutely love my L300
I absolutely love my L300, it has given me so many more opportunities than I have ever had over the last 20 years after having a stroke. I never thought I would be able to jog again!

I am not happy with the service and the device. It does not work for us. It makes my son's muscle tighter and raises his BP. I asked for a return with paying a higher cost in restocking fee and got no response. I feel that this whole process is so deceiving and forced the customer to be stuck with it with no option out. I don't recommend it and now realize that when I asked for customer feedback about the device, I got no response. It shows that many people like me are not happy with it and being gullible and hopeful that the device will help my son, I went ahead and purchased it. It was a big mistake.

loyalty with ideas
I had my first system in 2009 NESS L-300; and I loved it. I wore it out working long hours in the hospital, community and outpatient setting, along with in my personal everyday life. I contacted the company again in I believe in 2022-2023 to inquire about getting a new brace after becoming frustrated in PT unable to regain balance from a car accident. I was being told, "Well it's 25 years post stroke." As if I was just going to throw in a towel and say oh okay; I'll live with it. No, a doctor told me in 1997 I would never walk or work again, I don't just give up.
This company has stood by my side through a long journey of roadblocks by insurance. My first representative was such an amazing support system. We first met at a Panera due to Covid restrictions. I walked through Panara Bread testing the lower cuff with customers clapping.( remember this, people pay attention). He listened to my ideas my frustrations and always had words of encouragement. His financial person was just as amazing.
As time went by waiting for answers on appeals my representative switched, the old one was promoted, Life is busy for everyone. We had a hard time connecting due to our schedules. She was able to refer me to a fabulous facility to continue on after a terrible mishap at another facility, no fault of Bioness. The referral turned things around for the best. My new representative is an amazing woman who has also become a support to help me reach my future goals. My representative also has a great team behind her as well; during the ordering process the financial people switched, and the new person picked everything up as if I had known her my entire life. This person did not miss anything. I can still contact her if I have a question, actually I did a couple weeks ago, such a sweetheart. One can tell my team, representative and financial person/ coordinator, cares about their clients. Which helps the client feel good about the experience. Especially after going through loosing so much of yourself.
These devices have helped to change my life for the better. I walk better; I can play with my dog in the yard. I can walk with confidence and balance. They help my back pain and posture. My gait is so much better. When I am wearing my devices, my balance is great.
Going back into a professional role in the work force and in everyday life, I think the one of the downfalls is having to figure out how to discreetly refresh my electrodes every so many hours. There was no PT after getting the devices to help one figure out getting in and out of the car, so the straps are not disturbed. That is another downfall, getting in and out of the car and always having to adjust.
Maybe there needs to be a training department for those types of issues? Especially with clothes fitting over the cuffs. I do not think company's sometimes take a step back and look in at the individual and the person as a whole, excuse my social worker mindset, health care needs to be person centered. These devices literally change people's lives because of health dilemmas. Therefore, they may need to be individualized like in sizing, ability to be cleaned easily.
I love your product I stand by it; I wish you could collect more data from The Veterans Administration to help more civilians who have had strokes get the devices covered by insurances like Medicare advantage PPO programs. Thank you for all you do.

So far, too many bad burns
So far, the first type of electrode that we tried burned me twice. The device worked splendidly but also cause 2nd degree burns. We are going to try other electrode types. My hope is that they work as well but without the burns.

My gait was off and I had a right foot drop as a result of a traumatic brain injury and stroke. I have continued to make advancements with my physical therapy over the years but finding the Bioness has been a godsend. I used the L300Go and the constant electrical stimulation eliminated the spasticity that was effecting my right side. Thank you for inventing this medical device. A small investment that has a strong impact on regaining your physical health
