New uplift trailers definitely not great for ebikes , alot of weight on the headtube due to the bike being suspended from the front wheel only . After nearly 8 years of coming to this bike park I won'... See more

The concept is simple, picture a ski resort, remove the snow and replace the pistes with an array of sweeping flowy bike trails meandering to the bottom of the mountain and you are close. Add a bunch of adrenalin and big sprinkle of fun and you are pretty much there. BikePark Wales is an exhilarating way to spend your day in the Welsh mountains.

Unfortunately BPW customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I recently booked a visit for both me and my son, I booked this visit on a voucher that I had been gifted. Unfortunately the weekend before my fork exploded so I needed to cancel the BPW trip as I could not ride. I made the request well in advance of the date. However, initially I was told to send an email, and then I was told to “request a refund” from the account section of the website, following this I was informed that they would charge me £33 to cancel. Given that it was a voucher and that I would be rebooking as soon as the bike was fixed I asked if this could be waved on this occasion but I was met with a flat generic response of “you agreed to this when making the booking” I felt this was unfair and excessive, I won’t be returning to BPW anytime soon, they have turned in to a money machine and no longer care about the riders

Well advertised, big and loud, however the customer service it's one of the worst I've seen in all the bike parks I've been in the UK. Long wait in the cues, from 12:00 there were 6 busses on standby, with long cues of people waiting to get up. It's a place intended to make money, if you are the type of rider to make 4-5 runs all day it's the place for you. They tightened my bike more than necessary causing my forks to touch another bike forks chipping a 2k forks even with the invisiframe on. They don't care, me and 5 of my mates made a promise will never go again, and btw I am writing this review as rider who's been BPW 9 times, every time there was a inconvenience, every time there was a fuss, do not bother to complaint to them they will not care, simply will reject your complain or review and nothing get's done.

Helpful staff. Great day out. It was my first visit and I had mistakenly paid for an uplift and a bike pass not realising the latter was included in the uplift pass. On registration it must have been obvious that I had over paid, but nothing was said. When I send an e mail asking for s refund I was told to go to my account and go to refunds. Obviously false information. I was then informed you can’t have a refund as you should have done it before arrival. A poor service snd ruined an otherwise enjoyable day.

Brilliant place but the bus waiting times are becoming a joke. People are traveling hours to visit the park, then get to spend half their day waiting for a bus to turn up.
Even worse when you leave a review on their website and they won’t display it as it isn’t a 5* review. They say they welcome reviews good or bad, then why hand pick which ones they show?
Very very disappointed this time, time to start going to other riding places.

I was there in January and everything went smoothly as planned. I was also in June and things completely changed. In the morning the uplift was ok, not waiting too much. Afternoon it was a completely different story when we were around 70 bikers waiting for uplift and there was only one van taking people. I counted and the uplift plus lift took me 33 minutes. You guys need to understand that we travel probably 5 or 6 hours from all around the UK to have an awesome day and instead, we are waiting for uplift the vans that were chilling on the side of the road. Also what annoyed me is that I was invited to leave a review on the BPW website and because I did not give 5 stars my review wasn't published.

Staff was great. All the rental equipment worked flawlessly. The trail grading system was truly helpful with the tech and flow differentiation and the trails were a blast. My second and my wife's first downhill experience. Highly recommend!

Used to like it, but they refused to refund me and I discovered in not the only one who experienced their customer services as very poor.

As well as being a world class bike park, there is a proper bike shop with fully trained and certified mechanics. Special thanks to Mark for fixing a problem I had with loose spokes in my rear wheel. This seems to happen quite often on my bikes but the wheel is still going strong after tons of riding. Haven’t needed to tighten a single spoke since the work was done. Absolutely tremendous job! Cheers!

We took two groups of approximately 25 pupils each group to Bike Park Wales as part of our annual activities week.
Throughout the process Jack at Bike Park Wales was in regular commination about the minutiae of organisation, to ensure that our arrival and subsequent days at the park ran smoothly.
We hired all the equipment and lunch was supplied as part of the package, and bikes, helmets and pads were supplied to fit our pupils.
Whilst all of the staff remained mindful of the potential risks of the sport, the guides ensured the pupils never rode anything outside of their means. The front marker kept the keen ones from damaging themselves through excessive speed, but yet kept enough pace to ensure no one felt under-challenged.
Our back marker (amazing job Colin!) was incredibly patient and encouraging with the less confident pupils, and everyone finished a total of 14 hours of downhill biking without incident.
The children (and staff) enjoyed the days immensely and they are all still talking about it with great enthusiasm many days later. We have all agreed this trip should be part of our annual offering to pupils and we are all eager to go back.

Amazing day at the park as usual! Hire team was superb and the bike was running better than my own one back at home. Best park in the UK and you definitely can’t complain about the price when you look back on the day you’ve had.

Great trails! Distinct lack of loo’s. For how many folk use the park daily it needs a toilet block or a minimum of 10+ toilets if it’s allowing 350+ folk a day. 4 or 5 toilets just isn’t enough

First time for my 9 year old son at the park with the adult and child Sunday afternoon deal. This is a brilliant idea if your kids are a bit nervous and are just starting out. It's long enough for them to enjoy. All the staff were really helpful loading his 24 inch wheeled bike and really encouraging of my son as well.

The overall experiance was great. My one comments on how it could be improved would be the que to sign on get your up lift pass. Even more frustrating is not being able to get your bar tag if you are riding the next day. To be stayng local and still have to get up early or miss time queing is very frustrating.

I had a great riding experience , the only problem was I now ride an ebike with a 2.8 rear tyre, this was very problematic on the uplift trailers . The tyre is too wide for some of the slots. This is a bit of a pain lifting the heavy ebike in and out to find the wider slots.

Love this place. All the trails are well thought out & signposted clearly. The café is wonderful serving great food relatively quickly and the coffee is top notch. The shop & customer service are both excellent too. Only thing worth mentioning is they could do with more mens cubicles at the visitor centre wc!

1st time ever visiting Bike Park Wales and it exceeded all expectations. I am all about speed and flow and this place has that in spades. Uplift is a must but we were not waiting more then 5mins each time we got to the uplift station due to the frequency of the pickups. Amazing day, amazing scenery, amazing time. Cannot wait to go back

Despite the rain and more rain, trails were amazing, staff were great especially the uplift drivers, the park had something for everyone and pushes your abilities in a good way, I left a much better rider and can’t wait to go again.
