Sourcing parts for classic bikes (in my case, a 1972 Peugeot PX-10) is difficult unless you find the right sources, and Ben's is now one of them. I needed an inexpensive but good-qualityFrench... See more

Ever feel like you are just not sized right on your new bike? Or you didn't quite get the bike you originally went to the store to buy? We've heard the stories from both customers and customer’s friends who have been steered in a wrong direction in a bike sale. Maybe it's because the shop didn't carry the type of bike they wanted, had a particular model they needed to liquidate or maybe they didn't have the right size in stock, but still wanted the sale. That is definitely not the way to treat a new bike customer or any customer. A shop like that isn't concerned about your need or comfort on a bike; they just wanted a sale. Once you’re out the door...its money in their cash drawer and they're on to the next. We strive to make sure you're getting the right bike for your type of riding. Not only that; we won't put you on a bike that doesn't fit you properly. These are important things to us and they should be even more important to you. We want you to love riding your bike and will do our best to make sure you do.

Not too old for an E-bike!

As seniors venturing into the world of Milwaukee bike paths, we found an outstanding resource in Ben’s Cycles. Our salesman, Alex, was incredibly knowledgeable…in addition to being friendly, honest, and tuned into what was best for us. Not only did he deliver our bikes, the shop owner, Vincent, made a curbside service call for a few adjustments and additions. Amazing. The combination of knowledge, customer service, and friendliness is practically nonexistent in today’s marketplace. Bravo to everyone at Ben’s!!

A+ Experience

Bought a bike from Alex at Ben's Cycle who was extremely knowledgeable and honest about the product's strengths and weaknesses. He told me to sleep on it and never pressured me into spending any money (which, as a former car salesperson, felt amazing). My sister will now use Ben's to have her bike repaired and I'd send anyone there without hesitation.

Oh, they have a shop dog too, which is amazing

Poor customer service. Fake promo.

Trying to take advantage of the Black Friday promo. I ordered a bike accessory via their website. My payment got refunded and they denied my order with a reason they won't ship to my country because they said my country would deny any packages from the US. Ridiculous reason! I told them that I don't have any problem with packages from the US and have been receiving packages from the US normally since the last 4 months. The worst is, the person who communicated with me via email is very rude. He didn't answer my simple question about what shipping service that they use or details where they find the news that my country is not receiving packages from the US, because even USPS didn't mention any info about that. Seems they just don't want to give the discount to the customer. Poor service. Fake promo.

Dear DH,
We apologize for the Inconvenience. In times like these we have to take cues from past shipments and make decisions for both our customer's and our benefit. We have had rejected packages to your country in the last couple of months that we can't take the chance once again. It is possible that next year things will settle down and become stable enough to ship internationally and we would be happy to honor this sale for you when that happens.
Best regards,
Ben's Cycle

Best shop in Milwaukee

Best shop in Milwaukee. I've taken everything from my Dad's Moots to finish off to a sized bolt in a cross frame that they removed perfectly. Everyone knows their stuff and the communication is second to none.

Good parts price, slow shipping

You had the parts I wanted at a good price, but it took 6 days for you to ship them. Apparently one of the items was out of stock. That was not indicated on your web site, and no one took the time to notify me.

Hi Ed,
We sincerely apologize for the delay. This is not how we like to treat our customers as without you we would not exist. We has instituted a process so this would not happen again. Sorry again for the inconvenience.

Hello,
We appreciate your order. we recommend familiarizing yourself with our shipping policy that is linked at the bottom of each page and during the checkout; the customer is responsible/required to pay and duty or customs fees that may be associated with the order coming into his/her country. We can't track and charge for these since every country is different. Thanks for your understanding!

Hi Dave,
Sorry about the delay. Let us know how we can improve for the future. Was it us or the USPS that was the problem.
Thanks,

Ben's Cycle provides competitive …

Ben's Cycle provides competitive pricing and good customer service. I like the ability to "save projects" on their site so when I am done selecting the parts I want, I can save that and go back later at any time to make a purchase.
