They recently updated their app, coincidentally at the same time I disabled my card due to losing my wallet. The process should be simple. I go back to my app and reenable my card once I found my wallet. However, two weeks later I’m not able to use the web face properly after their update. I called customer service. It took about 30 minutes for them to answer and now I’m playing a waiting game of sending them screenshots and video recordings of their web interface not working properly. I’m frustrated because everything worked correctly beforehand and just so at the same time as me going to travel results in a new web face that works in properly. I’m disappointed and as a student this is frustrating to have to be waiting for them to solve their issue. I’m also not able to link any of my external accounts and when I try the web interfaces button just becomes on the highlighted and nothing on the screen ops me to add the external account. I’ll have to replace my card and I am definitely considering closing my account and not using this institution again.

BECAUSE I WAS STARING DIRECTLY AT IT!!! do NOT use this bank if you can help it, go to a credit union instead.

Bank mobile is truly TRASH. I been with them over 5 years now and all I do is have problems. I've been lock out of my account multiple times without any access to my money for weeks. My personal information always changing without me doing it. I have received a new card but my phone number has changed without me knowing, when I contacted them to inquire about this,they send me a form to fill out and mail it back in, but couldn't tell me how my phone number, I have had for 10 years keep changing on my bank account. I am currently locked out of my account as we speak now, do to me updating the app, now I can't log back in, when I contacted them, they tell me it's nothing they can do ,and Sent me a form to fill out and .ail back in with all my personal information. This Bank mobile need to be shut down, because they are truly terrible. I have even contacted the bank that affiliated with Bank Mobile to file a complaint

To say that I'm DISAPPOINTED with bankmobile would be an understatement!!!! I received an email more than two weeks ago stating that my school had a refund for me. I logged into my bankmobile account to provide my bank account details and during the process, my account was suspended because of I DON'T KNOW WHAT!! I called them immediately, I was put on hold for more than an hour. I gave up and decided to message them on Twitter. Talked to some guy by the name Paul and he told me calling was the only way to solve my problem. I called again and I was lucky to talk to find someone to talk to after like 20 minutes on hold. The guy told me investigations take 15 days. It's over 15 days since I called. NO RESPONSE, NO NOTHING!!!! I'm struggling with my studies because I need to buy books, I need a new computer, and many other things. These guys are still holding my money. Why do schools use this HORRIBLE service I'M SO MAD RN!!!!

Bank Mobile is the official Bank of my college. I supposed to receive a tuition reimbursement transferred thru Bank Mobile to my Bank Account. My account was clearly hacked and the money was sent to a totally different bank.
Bank Mobile is refusing to refund my money. They said they investigated it with the bank the deposit went into. I do not have account with them and my name is clearly not on that account.
Please stay far away from Bank Mobile. I never write reviews like this but I'm out of $3500 and they are refusing to help with this. I've made over a dozen calls and sent them countless emails with no resolution in sight.
Several other users have had the same terrible experience I have had,
Update: Got response from bank that received fraudulent funds. They told me to have bank mobile contact them to give them more details .
Called bank mobile again today. They made explain situation to them for at least the 10th time. Then said are not willing to contact other bank to provide details. Got supervisor and they will email their fraud Dept to see if they can provide other bank details. Not sure if they going to do it or not.
This whole experience has been a nightmare.
Feel free to contact me bank mobile to get this resolved. I have provided my info via trust pilot.

Bank Mobile is total trash and I hate my school uses their services. When our refunds at Georgia State was processed by Wells Fargo we got the money the same day! My school sent my refund to them Friday, here it is today and on the “my refund” section of bank mobile my refund is still “pending” transfer as of today May 21,2025. Apparently they send it to the outside back as soon as it’s recieved that’s not happening because I have screen shots saying “pending outside transfer” June 23, 2025 4pm spoke with a supervisor who had no clue as to what was going on and couldn’t confidently answer any questions. Also, Mike had my original post flagged for putting the truth about this company in my post. Do not use this company for anything! Have your money moved from them into a personal account.

Soon as I got my refund I activated my card and tried to use it. My card kept declining, I tried to add an external account which was my wife bank so she could just send me the money but the verification failed which it does every time. But they restricted my account it’s been 3 days I’m trying to be patient but I’m in the army and I have work soon I don’t think they understand how serious this is. I called and emailed them telling them I’m the one who made this action on my account there is not reason to restrict my account I need to have access to my account they just keep telling me the same thing. I may have to wait 15 days but I can’t I don’t understand why ! It’s just very frustrating because even before I linked a bank account to my account they were still giving me problems. It’s causing me to also be stuck in another state I have to fly back home and they just won’t work with me
