Company lists items they dont have/ can't get
I ordered from them January 3rd 2025, they immediately sent an email saying the item was on backorder. No big deal, I wasnt in a huge rush to get it. Then once every few weeks I received other emails stating the same thing. It has been 6 months, and like clockwork, I received the backorder email again today (July3rd, 2025).
I wound up canceling the order. A few weeks out is one thing, but 6 months is ridiculous. If you dont have an item, why even list it on your site. Waste of time company

Will never buy from Adorama again
Will never buy from Adorama again. When they shipped the charger I ordered they put so many conditions on it that it was impossible to get. Made me sign for it and wouldn't allow it to be left at a UPS store. I had to pay $15 to get it delivered somewhere else and wait almost an extra week. So done with them.

When I was confused about how to transfer the money towards an item that was back ordered, I called-didn't even have to wait-and the incredible sales person got everything done for me.

Worst buying experience I've ever had
Worst buying experience I've ever had. Sold me defective speakers without me realizing it. Small language in the ad anyone could've missed and frankly this company should never knowingly sell defective merchandise. . I returned the defective speaker and after 2 months they addressed the problem basically saying they would do nothing and wanted me to pay for shipping.

GREAT Customer Service from Lewis Arthur
Imagine this: It was the second week of a two month van trip out west with my dog. My drone broke, DJI made me send it in and there was no way I'd be anywhere to receive the replacement. I had to quickly get my hands on another drone while I was still in civilization, and figured a DJI Neo would be good as a backup. But here was the problem: It had to be shipped to a hotel in Springdale, UT, and I wasn't staying there. My friends were. The order got flagged by Adorama for security reasons and I got an e-mail saying it was cancelled. I was so upset, but when I checked with Lewis, he calmed me right down and told me it would be there the next day -- he'd already seen the problem and pushed the order through.
That extra effort from Lewis saved the day. Few people care so much about their customers. Thank you so much, Lewis Arthur!

I was selling a lens
I was selling a lens, and Adorama provided me with a good quote, so I shipped it to them. I received an email from Jack asking me to call him, so I called and emailed several times. It has been close to a month now, and I have yet to receive a response. This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with Adorama, and I will not be shopping with them again. I am still waiting for an update on the status of my lens. Additionally, their wait times are terrible.

Seemed fairly fast but feel cheated. Not very friendly.
Seemed fast and easy but not the value I was first told. It felt like I was cheated a little. I was told the lens I traded in for a bigger lens had pre-existing dust and haze between some elements even though I bought it new from Adorama and basically never used it, so it was in new condition. Will my next lens have the same questionable issue? The final salesman was rushed and impersonal so the experience was a let down. I sent a letter about my concerns and am still waiting for a reply.
