Hi Mark,
Thank you for your order and your feedback. We are aware that sometimes the shipping cost comes up high online. We have a note that appears at the checkout page stating that we will lower the shipping cost before we charge your card and process your order when possible. In your case we were able to lower the shipping cost from $31.95 to $23.26. It is pretty much impossible to ship anything for less than $20 these days, especially when shipping to a residence.

Some of the items such as the Medical Gas Hoses are configurable parts so you need to configure the hose in order to get the correct part number.
