Smooth Sailing

Nothing really went wrong during our three week trip, but updates about flight delays and baggage claims were useful. Information about the destinations was also useful. I felt that we were in touch and if something had gone wrong it would have been easy to get help from Faye.

Great customer service

Great customer service. I had never used travel insurance and was worried that it would actually help me if needed. But Faye gave timely responses, has an easy to understand and use app, but also utilized email communications for when the app isn't enough.

Finally- Travel Insurance that makes sense

Grateful to have found Faye- travel insurance with details that are easy to understand, and very competitive prices. Understanding Process

I got sick in the Himalayan mountains. Had to cancel our trip in the Spiti valley before it ended. My claim was denied because I didn’t see a certified physician while having extreme stomach problems, dehydration, and altitude sickness. I’m so sorry I could barely move and couldn’t meet your documentation requirements. You guys are awesome. Enjoy my $500.

I am changing my review from one star to five stars. I was contacted by Mitchel who happens to be an avid hiker. He understood that it's not always possible to see a certified physician in isolated places. He even shared a photo of one of his hiking trips with me. It really felt like he understood the situation and my claim was accepted.

Faye Travel Insurance has integrity issues

Faye Travel Insurance has integrity issues as a company. I was in the middle of a crisis when in Thailand and needed to interrupt my trip. I called a Faye Travel Advisor as I needed guidance on what my policy would cover. She instructed me that my expenses traveling home would be covered and was very specific about hotel, transport and any meal during the trip home. This was conveyed both verbally and in writing as I clarified the hotel expense on my Chat which was reconfirmed in writing. These expenses was then denied, citing the policy, but as you well know, when you are in the thick of an emergency, you are relying on the guidance of trusted Faye Advisors and not a long policy document. I was then told by Danny Alfaro, that he spoke to Brittany Ryan and that she told him to convey to me that tget make an exception on the hotel expense, since it was clearly promised in writing on the chat and that a new Summary Claim would be coming before the day ends. Three business days later and I now being told by Brittany that they will not honor added the hotel expense, of course, citing policy verbiage, instead of caring that a promise towards coverage has now been broken twice. Apparently integrity is not has important within Faye. I will be posting the promise made in writing by Faye and what has happened here all over social media, if the company does not stand by it's written promises. David
