What a disgusting and pathetic banking organisation. Completely useless customer service. Trying to get access to my account after being abandoned in Singapore by one of the idiotic security checks. They are a useless nonsensical organisation. Use this “ Bank????” at your peril. You will end up with a card that doesn’t eork, stranded and without funds.

They are scam. They blocked my account and asked for document which I have no problem of providing. I sent them document but they never respond and they never unblock the account. It's a totally scam. They block the account while i have funds in it. And holding the funds and they never respond to even and whenever I sent them email asking why. they never respond. They are scam. Don't use wirex. Try yourself u would know it for sure. Seems they are regulated scam. They block account while u have funds and then they use our funds to make profit by blocked our accounts and hold our funds. Even child would understand what they do. My biggest mistake i add funds to wirex account.*( it was ltc deposit) not even card or bank transfer. They really didn't had any reason to blocked my account .Now they block the account no response. There is many other legitimate crypto wallet. Dont use wirex its scam

They haven't returned the money for two months and always the same answer - you have to wait, it takes time. Advise me how to effectively complain about Wirex, to the police or to the court?
From the responses to my letters it is clear that the managers are responding to extend the term intentionally, since they are fraudulently using my money for the benefit of Wirex:

Avoid these scammers. They do not contact at all. My application for verification has been considered for more than a week. I added the funds a week ago, they are still hanging in the Processing status. Support does not respond at all.

Wirex decided to close my account on February 12, 2025 but my account has been suspended since the middle of January 2025, obviously preventing me from operating.

As of today, April 25, 2025, more than 3 months after the suspension of my Wirex account, my funds are still held by Wirex with no reasons and I have no visibility on when they will be returned to me.
I find this attitude bordering on legality! Since my account has been closed I have no possibility to reach anyone for assistance and for having information on when I will get back my money: it is absurd that a situation like this occurs in the age of technology !

Terrible Experience – Account Blocked Without Explanation and Funds Withheld

I've been a Wirex user for several months, and I am extremely disappointed with the way they operate. Out of nowhere, they blocked my account without giving any explanation. I have tried contacting customer support multiple times, but I only receive generic responses and no real answers.

What’s worse is that they are still holding my money and won’t let me access it. This is completely unacceptable and feels like theft. I trusted Wirex with my funds, and now I regret ever using their service.

Avoid this platform if you care about your money and peace of mind.

THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL SCAMMERS.
DO NOT TRUST THEM!
I have finally figured out why my account is under a security check yet again and have temporarily frozen my account!
It's A CASH FLOW SOLUTION!
They probably create this when they suspect you are about to take your funds out!

P.s. They now say that I have 'Limited Feature Access, it can take a hours'..HOW ABOUT A FEW MONTHS!! :( :(

They have now CLOSED MY ACCOUNT! Not surprisingly, they give no tangible reason, but say I will receive a full refund. I've asked to confirm when and to which payment system.
Still awaiting proof that they have returned all my funds!

A company with big potential at first but they lost focus with the bad treatment of their customer. Nothing actually works here. I was so disappointed but happy to find Summus Templum company, the feeling is amazing. Fast and timely payment.

I transferred some XRP to sell, could not sell when I wanted to so decided to send back to hardware wallet. First transfer went through, then account was blocked.

They asked for info on where the funds came through, I had this with Revolut and the whole process took 2 hours, Wirex took 6 weeks, then told me my account was being closed, they cant say why. They sent so many emails at once the one that gave instructions to send bank details to withdraw funds in GBP. I sent this email off and the funds were transferred the next day. Overall there customer service is so slow it did seem like I was being scammed especially reading the other review, but I did get my funds returned however I lost a couple of grand in the price drop in XRP during this whole process.

Just wanted to leave a review for those in the same situation reading the reviews and thinking they are screwed, I did get my funds back.

The commission price is very high for. We simply cannot afford the commission price. Even though i lost money, they are still hiring me without telling me. They are stealing money from their clients by performing things i never requested them to do. I'm pleased with HILLBILLY, there is nothing hidden there. I tested them. I won't suggest that you deal with them here.

Company has potential but they lack focus on keeping the momentum and on adding value.
One of their biggest mistake they still do is ignoring and not caring about all their crowdcube investors who in the end helped them to be where they are. If they would have done that, they would have gained free marketing and go-arouders who would advertise their side investment and products. Also, they had and still have the money to start buying back shares but there is no move towards that showing they prefer to risk others money which doesn't build up on the trust.

I bought some crypto back in 2020, and at the time, there were no “inactivity fees.” I simply stored my crypto there without using the account for several years. Later, Wirex unilaterally introduced an “inactivity fee,” which ultimately emptied my account. I wonder, how the Russian scam (Pavel Matveev is a founder), based in Britain is still active, and Pavel Matveev is not in jail.

I have seen numerous complaints online from people who have been scammed by Wirex. It is unacceptable to remain silent. I will be preparing a petition, and I urge all those affected, as well as humanitarian organizations and relevant authorities, to take legal action against Wirex.
