I installed a Waterdrop undersink reverse osmosis system a while ago. It was easy to install and has worked well. I had some questions about acidic water and what add on filter I could use to help. I received my order at the late evening…
I received my order at the late evening of the Eve of July 4th. I was so glad to see it but found it was not exactly what I ordered. I emailed at night and got the response early in the morning of the Independent Day! I ordered Alkaline one but got one without the sign of A. I was told it’s same as long as I got right filter of Alkaline which was the case. But as a compliment the company offered an extra filter. It was impressive professionalism. I am satisfied. Great service with no quibbles

THe whole matter was resolv ed in a matter of hours and I cannot praise Harper highly enough - efficient, effective and courteous.

Generally good, but missing little things to make it a 5/5. Runs a lot more than expected.
SharkBite fittings could be of better quality. For several of them, it took multiple tries (re-cuts to get perfectly square ends) to get them to seal. Other SharkBite style fittings I've used aren't so difficult to get to seal correctly.
My unit has an external remineralizer and an external UV treatment device. There was no tubing supplied to connect those, not brackets to mount them in anyway. Each unit needs additional 1/4" tubing to connect with the system, and this should be provided. Both these upgrades seem like bandaid addons rather than having any thought put into including them in an installation. Once installed, they seem to function nominally.
Additionally, I have a double sink, which has 2" tail pipes. The saddle fitting for the waste line included is for 1 1/2" drain pipe.
My additional costs were about $60 to complete the installation.
Finally, it runs waste cycle a lot. You get a glass of water and the waste runs. You shut it off and the waste stops, but 30 seconds later the waste starts again and runs for about a minute. Also, it randomly wastes water. I've heard it running in the middle of the night on a couple of occasions when I'm working late and several hours after the system was last used. These waste runs are also about a minute in length. This is in addition to the above waste flushing. I haven't measured it, but I doubt I'm getting anywhere close to 3:1 good:waste ratio.
To finish on a positive note, the water is very tasty and can fill a glass quickly and I don't expect to have any additional issues with the system.
