We have tried to book several times both last year and this year unsuccessfully & this company deliberately delay in responding & then come up with all of these special conditions or excuses to try to make it as hard as possible to complete a booking. They were quick in taking our money, but when it comes to trying to make a booking, it is almost impossible & you eventually get fed up & book somewhere else due to their clever delay tactics. I have even checked on availability for the Resorts they provided us for our dates, plus provided them with multiple options, which shows available rooms on the booking sites for those resorts. Then they lie and say there is no availability when we can clearly see there is availability. They don't even have a phone number or call centre. I have asked for our refund of the $448 due to them blocking every booking we try to make & they have not returned our money. They are thieves & liars & I have never received any follow up phone call even after repeated attempts to contact them & ask for help & no this is not a last minute booking. We reached out most recently to them in June for a booking in July. They have loads of Resorts & many options but have been the most unhelpful & deceitful company we have ever dealt with. Actions speak louder than words & they have never followed through with our booking. I have provided them with our bank details to return the $448 they took from our credit card & they just come up with hollow excuses rather than simply return our money. After further research & googling the ViaResorts Scam, I found many others who were also scammed. Isn't it ironic that they don't respond to your booking request, yet they do within 24hrs of this review, however rather than simply carrying out a booking, they will come up with excuses. It is a very clever scam! BUYER BEWARE & DO NOT BUY ANY OF THEIR HOLIDAYS

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Beware!
I purchased a Bali travel deal through ViaResorts in January, hoping to finally take a long-awaited trip as a single mother who hasn’t been able to travel for over a decade. It was incredibly exciting—until everything fell apart.
Just a few days after I paid $695 for the voucher, they told me the Bali deal wasn’t available for solo travelers, even though that was never mentioned upfront. They promised to convert the amount into credit for another destination, which I accepted reluctantly.
When I later contacted them to transfer my money for a Singapore deal, they went completely silent. After weeks of being ignored, the Singapore deal disappeared from their website. I reached out again asking for a refund, explaining that I’m a single parent and that $695 is a lot of money for me. I don’t want travel credit for destinations I’m not interested in—I simply want my money back.
Instead of helping, they repeated the same scripted response and then stopped replying entirely. I’ve sent multiple emails (6 emails so far)—no answer, no resolution.
This has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. ViaResorts is unresponsive, misleading, and completely inconsiderate of individual circumstances. I strongly caution others—especially solo travelers and single parent families on a budget—to stay far away from this company.

We booked the promotional stay last year,since then my partner has been diagnosed as 'legally blind' and I'm dealing with cancer having finished all my chemo. We attended a Thai night organised by the sales team and were tabled at the rear of the venue. Our walking aids seemed to be invisible. On the day of the presentation, my partner was ill. I called a meeting with the sales guys( Dave and Allan I think). I asked if we could postpone.They were both rude and dismissive in their response saying the marketing team would be in touch. They did and we had to pay the full rate.We aren't ones to dwell on the negatives and apart from from being treated so badly ,we had an enjoyable stay. Rooms were great, with a balcony overlooking pool.The locals employed were fantastic and helpful. We won't be using any of the Via-resorts again.

I originally booked with Via Resorts for Uluwatu but needed to change to Legian on a different date due to different travel arrangements.
Communication was fabulous, quick, polite and constructive. All my questions were answered and arrangements are now in place for July 2025.
Special thanks to Miranda who I mainly dealt with although other staff were wonderful as well.

There was a bit of a delay between requesting dates and getting an answer back (2-3 days), so don't be concerned if you don't hear back immediately. They will respond to you! The amazing prices are conditional and there is a requirement you attend a no obligation presentation for a couple of hours (you know this before you pay and confirm booking). Considering the cheap price (and also some great inclusions), this seemed like a fair expectation. I didn't find the presentation to be high pressure.

They were not able to accommodate for the date chosen. When they offered a refund for this reason I agreed.
I was promised they would refund me however this never happened. I sent over 3 chase up emails and not one reply.
Update: the excuse is the same as all the other people that asked for a cancellation got from this shady company. PLEASE CHECK ALL THE 1 STAR REVIEWS GIVEN BY OTHER UNSUSPECTING PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD TO REQUEST REFUNDS AS THEIR CHOSEN DATES WERE NOT AVAILABLE

Rooms were small with nowhere to fully unpack a suitcase. Staff were wonderful but the breakfast didn't seem to cater for all tastes. Mainly suits Koreans or Asian tourists.

I booked and paid to be told the dates weren't available. The dates weren't flexible for us so we had to cancel. As per refund policy we requested one and never received a cent back. Stopped returning email requests. Stay away from them. I canceled on the 4th of march and was told 3-5 business days then the emails stopped being replied to. Finally came after threats on the 19th of March

This company age discriminates ie<69. You've got to be joking AND they asked about our income. Neither were well exposed at booking. I am now battling with them for a refund. Shame on you. I would have liked to post zero stars.
Our previous refund was because I purchased two vouchers. We do not want an alternative stay.
