Suspended transaction for a month
I sold an item to a buyer, the delivery person marked the item as not being able to deliver to the buyer and that it was being returned to me, however I never received this return and a few days later the buyer told me that she had in fact received the item. The transaction got suspended and the money is still being held from the buyer and I am still waiting to receive payment despite being in contact with Vinted about this for a month

Vinted let a scammer steal 200€, then banned me. No support. No appeal.
I sold a brand-name jacket on Vinted worth over 300 EUR. The buyer received the correct item, then lied and claimed I sent a t-shirt — a classic item swap scam.
I reported it immediately through the app dispute system, expecting Vinted to investigate. Instead, they manually canceled the order, kept my 200 EUR, and then permanently banned my account without warning or explanation.
I never received an email. I was blocked from accessing the chat. My balance was reset to 0 EUR. No ability to appeal, no evidence reviewed, nothing. I contacted their legal team and consumer protection bodies — they still ignore everything.
Vinted protects scammers and punishes honest sellers. This is not just bad service — it's complicity in fraud.
I have now filed a complaint through ECC Romania, ECC Lithuania, and under the Digital Services Act (DSA). If you care about your money and your safety as a seller, do not trust Vinted. This platform is broken, and support is non-existent.

Very Disappointed: Vinted’s Policy Let Buyer Keep Items For Free, Feel Like Vinted Protects Scammers
I started using Vinted last month to sell items.
I listed over 80 items and was excited to reach more customers.
Last week, a buyer purchased several items. A few days later, she claimed that one of them arrived broken. I was very surprised, as I had wrapped everything extremely carefully. From the photos she sent, it looked like the package had been ripped open. Still, I understand that things can happen during shipping, so I immediately offered to send a replacement of the exact same item.
She reported the issue to Vinted. Then, Vinted decided that I hadn’t packed it properly, canceled the transaction and allowed the buyer to keep the undamaged item as well, completely for free. Unfortunately, Vinted didn’t protect my rights at all in this situation. Of course, I wouldn’t expect payment for the damaged item, but I was shocked that they didn’t pay me for the perfectly fine item.
The most expensive item in the order was undamaged, and the buyer never responded to my messages asking her to either return it or pay for it. She saw the messages but chose to ignore them and clearly felt entitled to keep the item for free. This behavior made me wonder whether she had planned it from the beginning.
I contacted Vinted several times, explaining that I had fairly offered a replacement and simply wanted the other item returned or paid for. Every time, I received a generic response saying the decision was final and that they could not help.
I’m extremely disappointed. I lost both the item and the money, and all the effort I put in went to waste. Vinted’s current policy can easily be exploited by dishonest buyers. What’s to stop someone from buying multiple items, damaging one on purpose, and keeping the rest for free? Isn’t this against UK consumer protection laws?
After this experience, I’ve completely lost trust in Vinted and will not use the platform again.

Extremely poor business
I have no idea what is going on with Vinted, the customer service is APPAULING! I had never used it before but decided to create an account about 4 months ago. I was on the website for one evening. I browsed some items but did not post or sell any content, I did not buy anything or contact any sellers....I simply looked, then came off.
When I returned to the site, I discovered my account had been BLOCKED. I thought that was very strange and must be a simple mistake, as I know I did nothing wrong, so I contacted Vinted to ask them why my account was blocked and to please un block it. They replied saying I had broken their terms so my account was blocked. I was still completely baffled, so read through their terms which confirmed my original thinking - I had not done anything wrong. I contacted them again, explaining this and got a response saying they've reviewed my message but have decided to keep my account blocked - absolutely baffling.
I contacted them a third time, asking for proof and to be specific about what terms I had broken. I got a reply back with no specifics just that they acknowledge that I don't agree to their decision but my account will remain blocked.
I do not usually leave bad reviews but my experience has been so bad and made no sense, that I had to warn others.
Poor, poor, poor business. Completely unreasonable, unusable and a waste of time.

Worst customer support I’ve ever…
Worst customer support I’ve ever received. Ordered an item from a seller. Seller had problem downloading the delivery label. Both myself and seller tried to contact support on numerous occasions. We got told by Vinted a handful of different excuses and could not elicit any solution or timeframe for solving the problem. After trying to sort out over 8 days later, Vinted suggested that the seller cancel the order and reloads it again to original buyer. So the order was duly cancelled and reloaded and the original buyer bought again. But still no shipping label could be produced, this time the message stated ‘Shipping label cannot be produced due to possible Fraud’. Went through the torture of contacting customer support once again. The only suggestion was to cancel and reload order! I’d already paid for this order twice and waiting for refunds. I won’t be using Vinted again, not worth the heartache and mental stress.

If I could give 0 stars I would! 0 seller protection. I am completely horrified at my latest experiences with Vinted. 2 buyers were able to report items as “significantly not as described” - simply because they did not like the way the item fit. I only received automated responses via the app help centre - and 0 support. Nobody from Vinted reviewed the message threads with the buyers, which clearly showed that the issue was simply them not liking the item. I used to be an avid fan and user but have lost 100% of trust in this platform as a seller. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Terrible customer service
My user name is little_mex I shared my referral code to my partner who uploaded and sold items , I met the criteria and vinted agreed I met the criteria but then in another message Samuel to me it is disappointing when things don’t go my way and I won’t get a voucher when I queried where my referral voucher is? Really concerned about Vinted. It’s good when good but when something goes wrong they just sent automated bot messages and are against their own terms and conditions. I have just heard from neighbour and she showed me the proof on her Vinted app that there is no provision on the app to complain with a issue about a buyer scamming blatantly scamming them.
Vinted were playing table tennis back and forth with useless messages being very unhelpful. she is so disgusted with Vinted ,she is in her 60s and has a hobby making cheep jewellery as a passtime. The buyer said the ring she made was not in the box and packaging there was a large rip where the package was ripped open and she showed a picture of the package ripped and a used empty packet of lipe embellishing enhancement cream.
Now if someone stole the ring from the package but ripping it open and steeling theme ring why would they carry. in there pocket a used embellishment cream just incase they had the opportunity to steel a ring fron a package. It makes no sense but Vinted have given a refund to the buyer, now they have a refund and the ring and the seller is so disgusted that her integrity is now in the line she is done with Vinted SO BE WARNED THERE ARE SCAMMERS Out There NOT THE glossy picture for sellers as in the adverts
