Our sofa arrived about a week later than originally scheduled due to weather delays, but customer support was communicative throughout. When it finally arrived, the packaging was intact, and the quality exceeded expectations. Soft leather, solid frame—worth the wait.

I looked at a dozen sofas in-store before deciding to try Valencia. Honestly, this one looks and feels better than most showrooms. Assembly took 15 minutes and the leather smells amazing.

We got the leather sectional three months ago and while it’s definitely a showpiece, the cushions were firmer than expected initially. Thankfully, they softened up over time. The color is rich and true to the website photos. Delivery was prompt and assembly was easy enough to do solo.

We’ve owned our Valencia recliner for just over two years, and it’s still buttery smooth when reclining. The leather has aged beautifully and doesn’t show wear like cheaper brands we tried before. We use it almost every night—it’s become the spot in our house. Highly recommend!

I was hesitant to buy a leather sectional online, but the price difference compared to in-store options was just too good to ignore. The moment it arrived, I knew I made the right call. Buying from this company has been a total mess right from the start.

Ordered my sofa just after Christmas 2024 with a 12-18 week delivery.

This was delayed not only once but twice and as compensation i was meant to receive white glove delivery and a couple of tray tables.

Sofa was delivered last week Tues 24th June.

Was delivered by a third party courier - Rhenus Home Delivery (see my trustpilot review).

My choices for delivery were on a Tuesday, a Tuesday or a Tuesday. They only deliver to my area on a Tuesday. They also only give you an approximate time slot from 4pm the day before you are due to get your delivery with confirmation of slot the day of the delivery.

Despite asking for a delivery before 12 noon and with even Valencia asking them to deliver before 12 noon my time slot given was 230pm until 430pm which meant that I had to cancel my appointment for that day. Reasoning its a third party courier and that we have little to no control over when they deliver. They actually phoned at 8am on the day of delivery saying that they were an hour away, sadly i couldn't get my appointment that evening reinstated.

White glove delivery consisted of the delivery company dumping the three parts of the sofa in my lounge and then saying after signing for delivery that they were two packages short and that there was missing cabling and so they couldn't install it for me so they just downed tools and scarpered.

White glove delivery is supposed to be setting up the sofa ensuring all wired up and everything working and sofa position where you want in your room.

So a delivery far from expectations. After contacting Valencia I was informed that the cabling should all be there as it came in the boxes with the sofa and not in a separate package.

So I had a look at the wiring and the cable for the centre console was a USA one and not UK spec so in order to use the centre console i had to use a USA to UK adaptor - no surprise why the Rhenus delivery guys did a runner.

I got sofa to work all plugged in and working OK but with a centre console with 2 USA plug sockets on the front with the surrounding area not big enough to use adaptors and therefore useless. Also pop-up plug and USB port unit in centre console broken won't stay down and lock into place. The left and right sided seats both came with UK spec power bricks so no issues with them.

Valencia gave me £100 in compensation for the mucked up white glove delivery and towards the cost of an adaptor.

The tray tables are still missing - not got a clue as to where they are and now both companies involved have gone silent.

In short

1 - Over 6 months delivery time
2 - Very little to no option on when you can get your sofa delivered.
3 - No control with third party courier that they use so you will get your sofa when they decide to deliver it at a time that won't suit you.
4 - Unkept promises
5 - White glove delivery - do it yourself
6 - Sofa in USA and not UK spec
7 - Broken pop up unit in centre console
8 - Missing accessories

So any potential buyers from the UK please be aware of what you are getting yourself into and is it worth it?

Update.
Since I cannot use the plugs in the centre console due to them being USA spec and there being not enough room to be able to use an adaptor as well as the broken pop up unit Valencia are replacing the centre console with one that is UK spec - with only a 2-3 month wait time for the new one but we all know thats not the first time they've told me that about a delivery.
Sadly another problem has raised its ugly head the power indicating light on the right hand seat is now intermittent and despite me swapping over the power bricks as Valencia suggested and resetting the seat by disconnecting the din switch for 30 seconds and reconnecting it the problem still remains.
Had sofa for 9 days now and its been one problem after another and still nowhere near a resolution.

Update 2
Sent an email asking for another sofa to he delivered ASAP even if its an upgrade to the one I have as an apology for everything that ive gone through or to take this one back though 30 day no quibble guarantee as unwilling to wait 2-3 months if not more for a new part(s) of the sofa. A couple of hours after I sent that email I received a call from a senior customer service advisor after the obligatory apology I was offered £100 to take this review down. I then reiterated that either I want this sofa taken away for a full refund or i want another sofa ASAP as im not willing to wait another 2-3 months. She advised me that she had to speak to the sofa manager and she would get back to me before close of business - yes you've guessed it - no call back and yet another promise turns to dust.
I also might have a problem with giving them the sofa back as they only take it back if it comes in its original boxing which Rhenus Home Delivery took with them when they dumped the sofa in the lounge - Just have to wait and see if they call back
