About US Service Animals

Apply for a no-risk consultation from a Licensed Mental Health Professional to see if you qualify for an Emotional Support Animal Letter for Housing.

In order to prove that an animal is an emotional support animal, you may be asked to provide documentation from a licensed professional (doctor, psychiatrist, or other mental health professional) stating that the animal is an essential part of treatment for a disability. A landlord or business may ask you to provide a doctor’s note or they could deny you and your emotional support animal.

How does it work?

1. Fill out our no-risk online consultation form.

2. You will be put in touch with a licensed mental health professional in your state.

3. The mental health professional will see if you qualify for an Emotional Support Animal letter for housing.

4. If approved, your letter will be sent via email the same day. If you are denied, you will not be charged.

A doctor in our network may be able to prescribe an emotional support animal with only one phone call. You don’t pay anything unless the mental health professional approves you There’s absolutely no risk to you, so give us a call at (985) 200-3521 or fill out our online consultation form.

How do I get an animal ID?

We also offer animal identification kits which include a certificate and photo ID card for your Service Animal or Emotional Support Animal.

How do I get a vest for my animal?

We offer breathable mesh vests with velcro patches to display "service animal", "emotional support animal" or "do not pet". We also offer many other useful products to help identify your animal as a Service Animal or Emotional Support Animal such as:

Terrific Service Organization!

The best service animal certification out there!

This is my third or fourth year using USSA to certify my 7 year old pitbull mix. As a 911 dispatcher, I was approved right away and having her certified as an ESA has guaranteed that Molly can continue to support me as I've moved homes a few times in the last couple of years. Michelle and everyone at USSA are extremely kind and knowledgeable; you can tell they love their job. I have had a few landlords give some pushback due to no-pet policies but the ESA letter that I was provided quickly shuts down any threat of legal action and protects me and my ESA. I definitely recommend USSA!
