Wish I would have known…
They are very efficient and inspire confidence, however, the veins I went to remove are still there and my leg looks worse than ever after three procedures.

I went to the Naperville location and Dr. Okoye explained how the veins should work. The Vein Clinic's of America never did that. So, I appreciated the info. I'll be going back for an ultrasound and see where it goes from there. So, far, after reading bad reviews about VCA, I'm glad to have found this facility.

I went to the United Vein Center in Naperville, IL for cold toes and was seen by Dr. Obi Okoye in 2023. The doctor said I had many dead veins and injected a solution into them that supposedly killed them for good. He then closed up more of my "dead" veins in my legs up until June 2024. The procedures did NOT fix my cold toes.
On August 3rd I was diagnosed with Endometrial Cancer in my uterine and cervix.
On 11/30/24 I had to go to the Emergency Room because of extreme leg pain and possible blood clots. It was determined I have:
1. Superficial thrombophlebitis along the right posterior calf.
2. Superficial thrombophlebitis involving the left lesser
saphenous vein.
I'm now living in constant pain and don't recommend United Vein Center to anyone. Now, I'm in constant danger of a blood clot killing me!

The center on S. Himalaya in Centennial, CO. During our consult, Dr. Eun explained the details of the venous procedures and how blood should flow. My feet have been swollen on and off for 2 years. lots of ankle leg and foot pain. My cardiologist and primary care were concerned when my feet turned speckled and very dark and splotchy. They recommended I see a vascular specialist.
The ultrasound took about an hour and we received suggestions as to how to proceed. A few days later, I had the procedure and on the 3rd day, I have a little bruising on the injection site but no pain. A little swelling at the bottom of the compression stocking but that has gone away. We have a plan for the other leg and the back of both legs.

This company is a scam. I had an appointment in February 2023, in which Dr. Parker indicated I needed some additional work done from my appointments in 2022. I have had to wait months for an appointment for the procedure (Feb to July). Once I met my annual deductible, I still needed another procedure to finish closing my veins. My appointment was in July 2023. I had to wait 3 additional months to get rechecked.
I informed the office in July that if I needed additional procedures, they needed to be completed prior to the end of the year. I went in October so I had plenty of time to schedule before the end of the year if needed. Wrong!
The soonest appointment was January 4th, 2024. Costing me another $4000 annual deductible because this company over schedules new patients instead of completing procedures with existing patients.
They only have a corporate number so you are unable to reach the office directly. The corporate office is horrible to deal with. They won't let you speak with the office unless you insist and insist and insist.
If you are thinking of getting this procedure done, don't use United Vein. Choose another company with better office practices and a timely scheduling for procedures.
It's like this company in in cahoots with the insurance companies forcing patients into a new year in order to complete procedures.

My opinion from visit to a center. The doctor was very personable. Yet: on her profile she is listed as gastric surgeon. Tried few sites & all same result. If I have circulatory or vascular issue, I want to see & consult w/ a vascular doctor. I also am leery of United Vein centers when I can NOT find listing for a corporate office &/or a phone # or any contact information. Therefore I did not return to see the physician.
