'Carmats4U'? or 'Unique Car mats'?
'Carmats4U' or 'Unique Car mats'? (Unique Products UK)? provide one of the worst services I've ever had the misfortune of receiving. In the checkout before payment they stated I could receive my package (set of 3 Premium Rubber Car Mats & a Boot Tray) by the 16th of June; as I was ordering on the 12th, this seemed very reasonable at 4 days including the weekend so I made my purchase.
On the 16th, I checked the tracking for both 'Carnats4U' and 'Evri' (the courier) but the status hadn't changed. On the 20th of June I emailed to find out what was going on. I didn't receive a reply till the 23rd of June which stated "we're in the final stages and you should see the tracking update shortly". The tracking remained the same.
I called on 26th of June to chase this further and was told the mats and boot tray had left the factory for the couriers. This was confirmed by 'Evri's' tracking the following day. My parcel had reached 'Evri' on the 26th and was out for delivery on the 27th, for 26mins and then was "delayed". Then, on the 30th of June, the package was out for delivery and according to 'Evri's' tracking, was then DELIVERED and SIGNED FOR at 11:49. I was at home at this time and didn't receive the package! Next, I got an email from 'DPD' (another courier) who said they are expecting my parcel! I sent 'Carmats4U' an exasperated email but to no avail. On the 1st of July I finally received my order.
I waited a total of 19 days for my order to be delivered with very little in terms of communication or apologies. As for the products themselves, they're quite poor quality. The 'Premium Mats' seem very thin, with one line of wide stitching, that doesn't feel it will stand the test of time. The Boot Tray is a cheapish PVC that was folded in three for postage and doesn't lay flat as a consequence. Overall, a poor product with a terrible service.
