Zero stars would be correct.

Read for yourselves what was reported in Ars Technica: “man buys 20tb portable hdd for $51 son breaks the news that its a fake”

If it seems too cheap to be true then that is most certainly the case.

Should really be 0 stars!

20TB USB hard drive purchased. Worked initially but certainly not at the speeds quoted on the website. Was supposed to be Western Digital but actual product was Toshiba. On complaining they gave 20% discount.
Subsequently on using the drive it lost data and now fails to reformat. Clearly faulty.
Company won't take the item back & keep stating they cannot issue further refund. Klarna now investigating and final payment is withheld.

This company try to avoid returns of non-working goods and UK right to a 100% refund.

I ordered a solid state drive for backup of my computer files. It did not work and the company took a week to reply to my email. After that they have spent over a week making me incremental offers of a part refund if I will keep the non-functional piece of junk. They seem to think that it's like selling something that you may keep if you don't like the colour. It appears that they hope to drag the process out until I give up or we go long past the 2 week return period. They are clearly not acting in good faith and I regard them as a scam operation who should not be permitted to advertise their goods on YouTube. I reported them to Google but I still see their ad occasionally.
Thanks, Tom Gardiner

SCAMMERS.

Bought 2x hard drives for £42 which turned out to be empty cases. Obviously not recognised by any device I've tried. Sent an email to so called customer service. They replied saying they would give me a 20% refund and I can keep the completely useless junk they sent me. Why would you want to keep something that's useless to you. PayPal now involved. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!!!! You'll regret it.

Update

Update: Product still not delivered. Company has not even had the curtesy to reply to my email requesting information. I will send another email. Obviously, be extremely cautious in dealing with this company.

DO NOT BUT FROM THE COMPANY. You will never get 20tb for £38. A proper Western Digital 20tb drive would cost you about £300 +. I brought from these type of websites before and it's all a scam.
Also I know you will never get your money back unless you paid with a credit card and you can get your money back via chargeback through the credit card company.

Scam.

Scam.. Buyer beware..

I thought it was too good to be true and indeed it was.

No reply from their customer service as expected.

Both Instagram and Google should be more responsible for the companies who advertise with them.

Don't Believe their Hype - Too Good to be true

Don't think that this company can sell you a 20TB Hard Drive which is 90% cheaper than any of the reputable sources we all know. 20TB Mechanical Hard Drives cost minimum £300+ at present
This is same as the SD Cards that said they were like 16GB but were just altered firmware on a 1-2GB Drive that flooded ebay etc 10yrs ago.
Try and copy even 20% of the stated capacity onto these drives and they cannot accommodate it.

They take you for a mug

I ordered two 20TB harddrives supposed to be fast data transfer. When they arrived I formatted them and tried to transfer a 1.5gb file, it took over 20 minuites.
I then sent an email to their customer email now 3 days later I still had no reply.
On their site it says you have 7 days to return the item, there is no phone number and no address so until I receive a reply I can't send it back.
Don't buy any thing from UK Chicntech it's a scam
