I am a keyboarding teacher and I used this program this last year for my classroom. I absolutely loved the program and so did my students. It is super interactive and has a ton of different courses that you can use from just standard keyboarding lessons to moving into core subjects. They also have games which me and my students also loved as it breaks up the monotony of the standard lessons. We would comete as a class and just had a blast with it. Each 9 weeks I had to get assistance to add my students into the program due to a previous teachers mistakes and the support team always responded almost immediately. I plan to continue to use this program through next year as well as I had such a good experience with it. I would recommend this to any keyboarding teacher out there.

Based on the students input, they love the program. They enjoy the games and the ease in accessing and navigating throughout the program, but importantly they have seen results. I have seen a significant increase in their keyboarding speed and utilizing the proper techniques to improve their speed and accuracy. As a teacher, I encourage everyone to learn "typing" because it is a universal skill that is required in every field. Additionally, it is critical for our every day use when corresponding by mail or updating information in databases, e.g., DMV, court, airlines, etc.

My kids love this program. They ask all the time to work on their typing. It has a great learning component as well as games to play, to keep kids interested. The structure in which they teach the keys are systematic and it gradually builds upon itself. I highly recommend Typesy to anyone needing to learn how to type properly.

I love this program for my third grade class. The way the program guides them to correct finger placement is great. It is easy for the students to practice and get better. They continue through levels. I do not need to do much at all other than walk around to make sure they are working. The students also loved when I said it was time for typesy. They got to play a game after completing certain levels. It has been a win-win. The support staff was wonderful at the beginning as well. I highly recommend this program.

Our small private school noticed that our students as a whole had the bad habit of hunt-and-peck typing. To remedy this issue, our students in grades 3-9 began using Typsey. After 6 months, we were happy to see our students had increased typing speed, improved posture and finger placement, and had fewer errors. Overall, a great program for teaching typing skills!

Typesy made brushing up on my typing skills fun. I had to relearn some finger placement skills; I was surprised how I had picked up some bad typing habits over the years! The program immediately helped me to recognize this. Overall, I’m happy with the experience and I would recommend Typesy to anyone wanting to learn touch typing for the first time or for those wanting to update their skills and become more proficient in typing.

Typesy has proven to be an outstanding touch-typing solution for our elementary school students. Having previously used several other typing programs, I can confidently say that none have matched the overall quality, user engagement, and support provided by Typesy.
The platform is thoughtfully designed with young learners in mind, offering a user-friendly interface, engaging activities, and adaptive learning paths that help students progress at their own pace. My students are not only learning essential typing skills, but they are genuinely excited to use the program—which is a testament to its engaging and age-appropriate content.
In addition to its pedagogical strengths, Typesy excels in customer service. Support is readily available and highly responsive, making implementation and troubleshooting seamless for educators.
Overall, Typesy stands out as a superior choice for elementary-level keyboarding instruction, combining effective educational design with exceptional support and student engagement.

I started to use Typesy last 2022. I have been struggling with my keyboarding before as I'm still using the hunt and peck method which made me inefficient especially at work. As a working person, Typesy has helped me a lot in improving my keyboarding skills. I also love how cute the pets are whenever I finish activities. It keeps me motivated. Their customer support is excellent too! I have recommended it to my peers and they currently use Typesy for their kids. Such amazing app!

Typesy has been nothing but AMAZING!!! As someone who has used some other similar programs in the past, they do not even compare. Typesy is constantly improving its programming, has immediate customer support, and makes a platform that my students love! I am excited to check out eReflect's new software, Wordela, as well!

I teach middle school technology, and after trying out many online typing programs with my students, I must say that Typesy has been a real game changer. Students are always asking to get on Typesy, even when we're working on other fun activities, and they are motivated to complete lessons and work on their speed and accuracy. On top of that, they can learn about other content areas through the text they are typing, or they can work on the basics of typing (common letter combinations, using different fingers, etc.) - giving students that choice of what they want to work on has been amazing! Additionally, I had a colleague who wanted to use Typesy in the elementary classroom but was worried it was too game-y or competitive. She was happy to hear that you could opt out of any of the features that may make Typesy too game-y (pets, play section, hall of fame, etc.) for your learning environment. It's highly customizable and includes tests and assignments, and the student stats are very helpful. Plus, there are no pesky ads for students to accidentally click! The Typesy support team is excellent and was receptive to my suggestions for minor improvement. If you are a teacher or homeschooling parent interested in improving your students' typing skills while keeping them engaged, I would highly recommend Typesy. There's nothing as comprehensive, customizable, and engaging out there, as far as I know.

What surprised me is the amount of contents, value, support (they even have live chat), and features you're getting for an affordable price.
It's not just typing! It has word lists, a built-in dictionary, customization options (you can import or paste your own text to use as typing material).
I even did a cross comparison from other programs, and really, this is like a hidden gem.

I started using Typesy 3 months ago to teach my grade 3 students. The experience has been amazing. This is the first time I have seen the kids use a typing app that they actually love, and the kids can't stop talking about hatching pets and improving their speed and accuracy. Great work to the Typesy team

**UPDATE** they now claim they did not get an email but can see the email and are emailing my teacher to see how true it is... so basically calling me a liar. Honestly what a JOKE! I have all the emails I've sent in my sent folder, zero replies to any of them. They are more interested in arguing, vague threats and making wild accusations than actually providing support. Keep up with the defamatory remarks, it only shows your level of unprofessionalism.
Original Review:
Boring and repetitive, zero support, and inaccurate. Kept getting an error that my progress could not be saved, had to redo a unit several times even though I had already got the stupid pet "prize" at the end of the unit. No one from support got back to me.
*Update, if I could leave negative stars, I would. Never heard back from support but almost a month after I emailed for help, they did find time to try to dispute my review then ask me to contact them, even though they couldn't be bothered to reply when I needed help.
*Second Update, May 18, 2025, Was asked to email support AGAIN, I did, on May 9 from the email associated with my account, again, no response. Seems support is more interested in playing games than anything else. If I could attach a screen shot I would, but if you look at the response to other negative reviews, oddly enough they can never find the account or the complaint.
