A Living Nightmare

This is by far, the WORST scooter brand I have the guilt to say I own. When I first bought the X7 Max for my college commutes, it was quite smooth and had zero issues. It came down to needing inevitable repairs (Inner tube tear. Not sure how) like all machines need. I had little foresight on the suffering I was going to endure. Deconstruction was strenuous but nothing too bad since it was just the inner tube. HOWEVER, we need to discuss about the RECONSTRUCTING PROCESS. IT IS THE MOST HEADBANGING, ABYSMAL, AGONIZING pain I have probably endured in my life. The videos did not have most of the issues or warnings on what issues could arise, leaving me to do an abundance of research on my own on how to do it. The problem isn't the needing to problem solve. It's the ambiguous tire design. I have dumped too much money into attempting to fix THE FRONT TIRE AND ONLY THE FRONT TIRE but to no avail. I have spent months trying to fix this scooter but let this be my lesson on the quality of this scooter. You get what you pay for but apparently, I paid for crap. Please heed my warning and do NOT buy from this company unless you are thirsting for agony.
P.S. I am still trying to put the motor back into the front tire, but nothing works. At least I learned my lesson about this quality and WILL NOT be buying another one. EVER.

Their products are absolutely TRASH

Their products are absolutely industrial garbage. They are of the worst quality you can imagine. I got one motor problem from another ever since I started riding it. So Whatever you do, STAY AWAY FROM TURBOANT!

Great Customer Service

I've had my TurboAnt scooter for several years now & use it all the time. I love how durable it's been, so I was expecting the same quality after buying the Terra Hiker Tire Inflator for it. Sadly, the pump didn't work out of the box. After failing to get in touch with Terra Hiker, and explaining the warranty situation, the TurboAnt customer service team agreed to honor the warranty and shipped a new one, quickly and free of charge. The new one works perfectly & I'm happy customer once again.

It was a pleasure purchasing my scooter…

It was a pleasure purchasing my scooter from TurboAnt. I purchased the new R9 model and absolutely love it. The dual suspension and the pneumatic tires makes the ride extremely smooth. The folding design makes the scooter very easy to store as well and the 35 mile range also ensures you a while of riding before you actually have to charge it again. This is definitely not a light scooter, but that was an issue to me as I do not plan on carrying it often. Overall, I am very pleased with my scooter. It was great purchasing from them and also Jane from customer service was extremely helpful. I received my product so fast! Will buy from them again.

My wife and I have a matching pair of X7 Max and they have been absolutely incredible from Day 1! I can't say enough, I use mine daily when the weather is nice and for a bigger guy (325 pounds) it still performs excellent!

Have had my X7 Max for the past year…

Have had my X7 Max for the past year and it is the perfect city commuter. The removable battery and fold up design are perfect for my needs. Great speed and acceleration for getting around. On top of that, customer service is incredibly responsive and extremely helpful. Have done 1-2 replacements for brake handle and display which were very straight forward.

I bought this scooter as a way to cut…

I bought this scooter as a way to cut down on my gas bill. I live in town and ride it to work and back every day. So far it has been wonderful! I bought the X7Max version, and it takes me up hills no problem!
It does a bit slow on an incline as I would expect, but on relatively flat terrain it hits 18-20 mph almost instantaneously! And wow that feels faster on a scooter than I expected! I’ve had a blast with it. There are some pretty good hills on my route to work, the first one slows to about 15 mph on a full charge before picking up again. And on the second and drastically steeper second hill, it bogs down to a meager 8 or 9 mph. But it never quits and like I said this hill is extremely steep.
I’m saving on gas I estimate that it will pay for itself long before it needs to be replaced. If you’re like me and are new to electric transportation, it's definitely a game changer.

I recently purchased the V8 dual battery scooter and it has exceeded my expectations. The scooter is easy to assemble and use. The speed and range are perfect for my needs. The scooter is also lightweight and easy to carry when necessary. The customer service from TurboAnt has been top-notch. I would definitely recommend the V8 to anyone in the market for an electric scooter.

The worst customer service

The worst customer service i’ve ever had.

My scooter was supposed to be delivered on 9/20. It wasn’t. I reach out to TurboAnt saying I’m worried its lost, Then the tracking said it was “On a fedex vehicle” from 9/20-9/25. Both the Customer Service Rep and I confirm that it hast arrived yet and is in transit.

The Rep said just to wait, it would be delivered.

Then suddenly, 6 days later, the tracking updates to “Was Delivered on 9/20” even though we both confirmed it wasn’t. It was never delivered, and I believe lost by Fedex.

Such begins the longest and most frustrating series of back and forth emails where I’m begging for a refund and actually crying by the end.

My rep says it’ll take 60 says for them to look into it. Taking things into my own hands, I get proof from Fedex there was no photos taken of delivery, I get a letter form fedex corporate saying they can't prove it was delivered, I video me on call with fedex where they confirm theres no proof of delivery.

I provide it all to my TurboAnt Rep. They say they can’t provide a full refund, only 100 out of the 500 I spent. They say it should be fredex that will refund me the rest, since I “filed a claim with fedex” but I didn’t file a claim. I neverr filed a claim with fedex and only the shipper can file a claim, which TurboAnt didnt. I confirmed all this with fedex, but my TurboAnt rep just repeats everything to me again.

We argue back and forth more. Its still an ongoing battle to this day 10/7.

This is the worst customer service I’ve ever had. I never write reviews like this but I’m so hurt by this company. i can only warn everyone to stay away from them. They do not care about their customers. They only care about money.

According to our policy, if the shipping service provider shows your package has been delivered but you did not receive it, you should contact the service provider as well as TurboAnt as soon as possible, and we will assist in all possible ways.
I understand that you've already taken steps to resolve this issue with FedEx and have provided evidence that the package was not delivered. Given this situation, we should be able to assist you further.
Regarding your request for a replacement scooter, I forwarded this to our shipping department. They have arranged for a replacement scooter to be sent to the FedEx location you provided and require a signature for pickup. Once the shipment is arranged, we will provide you with the tracking information.
