We recently completed “Puppy Kindergarten” with Paige, and highly recommend her! She is very generous with her time and flexible with her agenda to make sure we are achieving our goals. Her willingness to work in various environments (home, out and about in crowds, with or without other dogs present) made for a really comprehensive training experience for our puppy. We never had to wonder how he would do in a certain environment because Paige made sure we experienced it with her.

Paige is also an excellent communicator and provides additional resources and homework in between sessions, which is really helpful because training needs to be reinforced often between sessions. We always felt like we had things to work on, and the results really showed from session to session.

I can't say enough great things about Paige. I worked with some trainers prior to finding Paige and I could tell from the moment she came into our house that my dog Cookie would be in good hands. Some trainers want you to use only their methods with no deviation, but Paige adapts her training to fit me and my dog. My main issue was getting Cookie to go in the car willingly. After one lesson with us and practice on my part, Cookie actually jumped in the back seat of the car to sit with me. We have more work to do, but I have no doubt that the training will be successful.

Everything about working with Paige has been great. She has an incredible rapport with our 9 mo puppy, but also with our other three dogs. They all adore her and gravitate toward her anytime she is at our home for training. The others have started to learn just by observing! Paige excels at communicating with the humans, too, and has proven to be a thorough and patient teacher of both dog and human. She was wonderful in her interactions with our teen son, as well; it has been so cool to see him implementing what she taught him so that he doesn’t inadvertently teach the trainee bad habits. Paige has made training fun and interesting and successful. I highly recommend her!

Paige went above and beyond to help us with our new pup, Goldie! Goldie is almost 5 months and has excellent recall, she can sit, lay down, knows place in such a short amount of time. Paige is very patient and worked with us and our 3 y/o son to help integrate our new puppy into our family, and provided amazing resources to continue our training. We’re so happy we found Paige!

We've been so happy with the puppy kindergarten classes we’ve been taking with True Companions! Our pup - like many - is full of energy and excitement, very mouthy, bouncy, cautious and inquisitive, and at times too smart for her own good. Paige brings a positive, supportive training approach which feels safe and fun for our pup. Rather than following a prescribed format, she has tailored each session to fit our pup’s specific needs, making sure she stays engaged and is successful in her learning. While our pup still has a long way to go with impulse control, Paige's guidance and reassurance have been game-changers. We’ve already seen big improvements in our pup's behavior (and in our own leadership) and feel we now have most of the tools we need to help her through her adolescent years. Bonus - we know that Paige will be here to help us problem solve as things come up down the road, as they inevitably do. We highly recommend Paige and True Companions!

Paige is an expert dog trainer who offered me so much support and guidance when training our new Frenchie puppy. Our dog responded so well to her and her positive reinforcement training methods, and I really appreciated all her tips and practical advice. I felt like I could ask her anything and she was able to help with it all!

Paige spent an hour with our barking unruly dog and had her fetching and sitting silently and obeying commands in a single session. She clearly loves dogs, and has a lot of knowledge and experience in training them. We were amazed at the progress. Highly recommended.

We are first time puppy owners, and Paige has helped us in ways we didn't know to ask. As a nurse, I really appreciate her keen listening and assessment skills. She communicates before the appointment and follows up afterward, sending materials related to our time together. We also like not being locked into a package plan and going at our own pace with sessions.

The first day Paige met with our German Shepherd, Leo, she was able to identify with him and his personality. While others were intimidated and scared… she recognized that he was actually the scared one! She didn’t waste any time offering and modeling suggestions, strategies, and resources that would help our Leo! I will definitely be recommending her!!

Paige worked with my dog to calm her and by the time she left Lizzie was very comfortable and calm. She gave my very good tips on how to introduce her slowly to new situations so she doesn’t display negative behavior!

Paige is an incredible trainer. My ten year old terrier was having behavioral issues. Paige came to my house to observe and give suggestions. She was professional and effective and was a pleasure to work with. I already see improvement in my dogs behavior. I would recommend her to anyone whose dog was in need of improvement.

It’s clear that Paige has many years of experience around dogs. Her knowledge is impressive. She is very patient and kind and flexible when I had a sudden change to my schedule. Consistency is key when training your dog and coco my 10 month old puppy has learned a lot from our sessions. Highly recommend. Ps- I love that you get a picture of your dog with a graduation hat at the end of her sessions. Love it!

Paige is awesome. She very good with the dogs. She analyzes their behavior so well to the point my dog wont think my partner is a chew toy. He can walk my dog without him chewing on his pant legs. I am definitely going to continue my training for my dogs.
