Not only was their customer service quick to respond and super helpful, they did exactly what they said they would within a timeframe that was exceptional. My ordered arrived within a week and it is amazing! I can’t wait for my new puppy to use her bowls and eventually the stand when she gets big enough! Whatever problems they had in the past seem to be resolved now.

So far as I can tell, Trot Pets doesn't appear to have any manner of customer support. The bowls themselves are nice, and if you do decide to order them, get them from Amazon, where you can make a return or exchange without the headache of dealing with Trot directly. Unfortunately, I didn't know any better and ordered directly from Trot. I returned my initial order because I didn't care for the color. The return made its way to their warehouse two weeks ago, but was never processed. I followed up via email. No response. I followed up via the customer support portal on their website. No response. I posted a comment on their Instagram. No response. At the end of the day I'll just provide the paper trail to my bank and have them cancel the charge, but any company working in the e-commerce space ought to do better, and when it comes to Trot, customer support is nonexistent.

I like the product, but getting ahold of anyone has been just about impossible so far. I ordered a single mat and stand to go with the orange full set that I already own. The color i received was more of a peachy coral color, so I returned it. It was delivered to them on May 19. It is now June 4, I have sent emails and messages asking for the status of my refund with zero response this far. I was planning to purchase a new mat in a different color and another bowl to match, but I was waiting on my refund prior to making that purchase.
The product itself is great, I give the product 5 stars. I give the customer service 1 star.

I understand that is your policy, but it seems very stringent when most companies stand behind their product and allow for returns or exchanges if a customer is not happy.

I am one of the original purchasers under the previous ownership who was scammed and lost money and never received a product. I took a leap of faith about 6 months ago and decided to try again (although it should be noted that new ownership did not offer any sort of discount to those of us who were scammed the first time around). I really like the product. The set is sturdy and is a quality product and we've been happy to date. Looks really good and often get compliments on it - this is one of the reasons I tried a second time; there really has been nothing else on the market with the same modern look/feel.

Overall quality of the item is great and I love the color. I do feel that the customer service and communication between seller and consumer is none existent. I have reached out several times to return my stand for a different size since it is to tall. I have heard nothing, and prior to this I have been having difficulty hearing back about restocking. I have reached out via online chat, email and even social media. Still nothing. I have decided if I don’t hear back soon I’ll just cut it myself. Paying $150 dollars for an item, it should come in exact condition. And if it’s not the correct size, there should be a way to get in contact with someone to get things straightened out. I shouldn’t have to alter it since I haven't heard back about getting a replacement for the stand or my return submission. Disappointing and I should have listened to the yelp reviews. 👎🏼 (trot please do not reach out and tell me to email you, instead you should be responding to the several I sent)

Have been using my bowl for almost 2 years when the magnet inside of it suddenly broke. Reached out to customer service about lifetime warranty, and I was instantly replied to and sent a replacement bowl. The replacement was actually defective and had the same issue. Reached out again to let them know and they immediately apologized and sent a new bowl. Final product is that my dog’s is working again. Amazing customer service with prompt responses. Quality products that my dog and I have enjoyed using.

Appearance might be on only benefit to these bowls. Magnetic strength is not as strong as advertised, barely pulls the bowl. Our dog did not take to the puzzle bowl feeder despite having used many other puzzle feeders without issue. Returns are not customer friendly, the cost of both shipping and restocking burden is placed on the consumer resulting in an overall dissatisfying experience.
