Horrible company

Horrible company! Stay away. I’ve rented from here 3 times and each time the owner of the vehicle purposely waits days to say that you returned the vehicle to rack up extra fees. On the flip side customer service is horrible and once you get a refund most of the time you aren’t receiving the full amount even if you’ve never received the vehicle

These guys are probably some kind of…

These guys are probably some kind of test market pseudo-biz that doesn't really have a ready for prime-time product. First of all, there's a ridiculously outrageous "transaction fee" - a total farce. To book a used car (which may be 15 years old) , you have to pay for the "transaction" first - which makes the deal twice as expensive as a brand new vehicle from Hertz, Avis or any other company. So.. Who in their right mind is going to do business with these guys? Answer.. Nobody.. The entire program is obviously a setup - which is scary. What do they really want.. credit card numbers, marketing data, your email address to sell? Who knows? But it's pretty obvious they're not really interested in renting cars. My humble advice: Avoid

Would rate a -100000 if I could

Would rate a -100000 if I could! I booked a rental at 1:30pm to pickup at 3:00 pm. Once 3:00 gets here, the owner calls saying the car is not ready and needs to be cleaned. He said it would be 4:00-5:00 when it’s ready. This was extremely inconvenient for me as I was currently in route to pickup the vehicle and had planned my day to pickup at 3:00. He did not call until 6:00 pm saying the car was ready. By then, I no longer had a ride available to take me, so I told him I would uber to him. But being that it was heavy Atlanta traffic, I gave it about 20 mins to let prices traffic surcharge prices go down some. He then called back rushing me now and said he had to leave out and go to douglasville to handle something. I told him to go ahead and handle his business and call me when he’s back. He then texts me at 7:30 pm saying he was on his way back. I told him I was getting in an uber now and I was on my way and my arrival time. The uber had me about 5 mins behind due to it being a shared ride and we had to pick the other passenger up too. 5 mins later I pull up to the location, and as I am pulling in, the owner cancels my rental. I see him in person to ask him why did he cancel me when I told him I was on the way. He said he didn’t have time to wait and had other things to do. That was EXTREMELY rude and unfair because I waited on him HOURS to get the car ready. First of all, do not post a car as available when it is in fact not available. Secondly, he should try the lockbox Bluetooth remote system where we both can unlock it from our phones if he is so “busy”. Third, by him cancelling my rental request, I have to wait 5-10 BUSINESS days on a refund! That is ridiculous! I was planning on rebooking another car but after talking with Diego in customer support, I refuse. He literally was rude, cut me off in the middle of my sentence to ask “is there anything else I can help you with?”, as if I wasn’t currently stating what he could help me with! That’s inconvenient to your customers to withhold their funds because you have unprofessional owners on the platform that post cars as avail when they are in fact NOT! I will never ever ever ever give this company another dime of my money and beware of certain owners who are unprofessional. Horrible experience!

Dont Do It..You Will Regret...

I felt like it was important to leave my honest feedback on my experience with renting through Tripcity.
I'm one month into a rental I'm using for uber & dd....the car is 12yrs old. It has severe hail damage with noticable welts all over the hood. The tires are old, they all have a slow leak. The drivers door has a trick to locking it.. There is no drivers sun shade, so during sunrise or sunset hours I have to ride with one hand blocking the sun, other hand on the steering wheel, it is very dangerous. The car vibrates all the time, it is so hot during the day but I cant turn on the AC because it's too much on the car.....The paint is faded all over, & I am so embarrased to tell ppl I'm renting the car smh. It looks like somebody tried painting a thin layer of paint over the vehicle to try to fix the paint, it made it all look worse.
The windows aren't tinted so everyone can see me riding in this ghetto ride...
These ppl have charged me $66 each day.....
I have paid $1980 in 30 days, for an embarrassing car, it doesn't even always start up smh...
That cost is for a $40 per day car, $26 PER DAY for "insurance"...........I could have put a down on a decent car, or purchased a similar vehicle for that amount........
This "service " is similar to a payday loan scam. If you are reading this, I urge you to save a deposit for a real car rental company. This is NOT worth the price. It has prevented me from saving anything or making any sort of progress, I'm am *literally* working to drive this pos car around...plz do not rent a vehicle through a company like this. Im in Dallas TX, traveling between all counties...unlike other platforms, you will not receive any discount for renting for an extended period of time. I honestly have no reason to be renting a vehicle that doesn't allow me to make any money at all & neither do you, & I cant drive out of state...I have nothing positive to share about my experience. If you rent here, expect to do so for the sole purpose of supporting this company financially, & not yourself...ALSO..several reviews appear to be AI generated or possibly paid reviews..

Best platform on the market

This is the go to place for car sharing, Trip City has created a seamless marketplace experience for car owners to connect with drivers. The reservation system, check in, communication throughout the rental, easy access to manage documents, drivers, and cars all the way to the checkout has been very well thought out and easy to navigate. Highly recommended.

Excellent Rideshare Service – Highly Recommended!

I’ve been using Tripcity for a while now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best rideshare services out there! The drivers are always professional, friendly, and punctual. The cars are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making every ride a smooth experience.

One thing I really appreciate about Tripcity is its affordable pricing and transparent fare system—no surprises or hidden fees. The app is also user-friendly, making booking a ride quick and hassle-free.

Whether it’s for a daily commute, airport transfer, or a night out, Tripcity always delivers a reliable and safe ride. I highly recommend this service to anyone looking for a stress-free and efficient transportation option.

Keep up the great work, Tripcity! 🚗💨

Horrible Not To Be Trusted.

Horrible. Plays the middle man for shady businesses in Orlando, steals your money and refuses to refund you once they screw you over with a lemon rental. Hangs up in their customers faces and acts like they’re always on lunch. Unprofessional asf needs to be shut down. They have fake ass reviews all up and down their page so here’s a real one.
