Did change reservation BUT......duped

Did change reservation. Was NOT UNITED AIRLINE although it had their name as the United Customer Representative & phone when trying to find the phone number to talk directly about a possible change. Asked frequently if they were United & every time yes I am a United Representative. Also when on hold it is the United hold music. Then the person couldn't understand me nor I him. He did so many mis-spellings and errors was pushy to get me to accept. Also lied about giving me Economy Plus seating when my original was canceled and new booked I saw I had the last row going and next to last coming back and it was NOT Economy Plus. BEWARE I have the customer service phone number now after reporting all of this to United Airlines - the real one. Many emails and phone calls I do have a flight verified with United and did my own paying for upgrade to Economy Plus. I am not happy about being duped.

It is a scam

This company scammed my wife. She was on the way to airport and they texted her flight was delayed and to call them. My wife thought it was Delta. They told her her second leg of her flight was delayed and most likely cancelled. So they changed her flights to later flights and charged her $488 saying it was the fare difference. When she got to the airport she went Delta desk and they looked at the flights and said it was about a one hour delay and changed her back to her original flights. They also said unless it officially cancelled a Delta agent would never speculate on a flights cancellations. I trying to find out how they knew her number and that her flights maybe delayed. Also the text they sent is no longer on her phone and my wife did not delete it????

Pretending to be United Airlines

Came up on Google search as United Airlines phone number. Having a seat assignment issue with United, I called the number...turns out to be travelomile. Long story short, I was told they could assign my seats for
$700! Feeling something not right, I called a correct United number and found out why I couldn't get my seats, could get them in a week AND no cost! Don't get caught in this scam.

SCAM

SCAM. They have clearly posted enough fake positive reviews on this website to make it a 4 star rating. They are not associated with united airlines or anywhere else they claim to be.

Christopher was helpful but a little…

Christopher was helpful but a little pushy about the survey even after I told him I had an emergency and needed to get off the phone. All in all he was helpful.

Oliver who took the time to change my flight was understanding of my emergency back home after a tree fell on my house.

Got scammed out of $1,163!!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH AGENCY. They are a SCAM. I’m now out $688 plus another $475 fee to change my flight, which I did pay thinking, this travel agency was legit!
Here’s how I got scammed! I had to cancel my April trip to Portugal from Boston with TAP airlines about a month ago but with a conflict in my schedule, l had to reschedule for this coming October. TAP Airlines gave me a credit towards the changed flight which they sent to Travelomile. The agent named Gilbert probably, not his real name, said I was all set for the October flight & cancelled the existing flight.
Today I called the reservation desk at TAP airlines,my April booking is still active NOT cancelled!!! So for 2 1/2 hours. I went back-and-forth with this agency & TAP. l was told by the TAP reservation desk that l cannot cancel this current April reservation it has to come from the travel agency. 3 weeks ago this was supposedly all set by the travel agent there named Gilbert. I even have his email that I’m all set for my October trip. I had sent him an urgent voicemail & texts directly to his phone & emails, that my April flight was not cancelled yet! I did not get one response from him so far!! I am so furious and frustrated and totally disgusted! This was supposed to be a done deal over a month ago and now it’s just turned into a nightmare!
After 3 phone calls to Travelomile I finally reach a woman who answers the phone she said since I dealt with Gilbert she will try to get through to him she said he was too busy to take my call. I told her my dilemma and that the original reservation has to be canceled immediately.
She said she would take care of it, Two days later I get an email from TAP airlines wanting me to check in online. I explained my situation to the TAP agent and once again informed me “sorry sir but the April cancellation has to come from the travel agency. you cannot make the cancellation”
A close friend of mine who flies frequently did some more research and she said Ricky this whole company is a scam almost all the positive reviews are fake.

SCAMMERS

SCAMMERS! Do not engage with this company. They will do an excellent job of coming off authentic, even pulling up your existing reservation with another company. TOTAL SCAM! Dealing with the bank as we speak...you have been warned.

BEWARE!

BEWARE! On Oct 23, 2024, I purchased a ticket to Vienna, Austria from Dulles Airport, Virginia for a PREMIUM ECONOMY ticket on United Airlines from Travelomile. They confirmed, in an email, a New Booking Confirmation advising they were going to charge my account $4,423.81 for that ticket. 11 days before the flight, I emailed them to determine where my ticket was. When I got no response, I told them to cancel my "ticket." In fact, they had purchased an economy ticket but never sent it to me. On a whim, I called United and sure enough, there was only an economy ticket that I could not cancel or change. Now my credit card company (Cosco/Citi Bank) is making me pay the more than $2000 for that ticket I never received nor did I use. BEWARE!
