Great easy experience but just booked and I hope never need this but I have no idea bout their claim process as this is my first time.
They have up to 21 days for pre existing medical coverage which was a main factor and their policy is clear unlike other websites

I used Travelex for my 9-mo. trip to Europe and the UK last year and it was great. I had one instance were I needed medical help and they were amazingly helpful to deal with! Also very reasonably priced for 364 day coverage!!! really great Customer service people who were knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful.

Thelps to have piece of mind when traveling.
It helps to have piece of mind when traveling, knowing that if I can't make the trip, it's covered. The policy is easy to read, and when I called to ask a question, they answered right away and gave me the information I needed. Hopefully I won't have to cash in on the policy.

Do not use them!!!!…
I have filed a claim with this company after the death of my husband and they have delayed payment in many ways. Now they issue a check in his estate which there is none because I am sole beneficiary. They now will not issue a check in my name as they saw he did not list me as beneficiary.
I Would not advise any one to use them for travel insurance after this experience after the death of my husband. There are other companies more reasonable and compassionate and honest out there.

We always have had a great experience with Travelex, using them for more than a decade. during this time, we had to cancel our trips several times, had medical expenses during our trips, never had any problem with reimbursement. Great company!

No Beneficiary page
I mentioned this before. They used to have a page to name a Beneficiary. Why on earth would they take that away? If something should happen, that just adds a headache to Family members. We should not have to call it in after we book the policy.

To clarify, when a policy is purchased, the term used is “policy designated” which means, next of kin. It is an insurance regulation/law that we require validation of the policy owner to submit the beneficiary in writing (via email) to Travelex at customersolutions@travelexinsurance.com.
We are unable to accept a specific beneficiary name over the phone or online.

Save time and choose a different insurance
I would recommend going with a different company when you choose travel insurance. I had a claim submitted several weeks ago. It took forever to verify even though I had all medical documentation submitted. Then it was verified and I supposed to receive efunds within several days. They require to verify to receive payment within two days after receiving email. I verified right away but weeks past and I still didn't receive anything. Just called customer service and they told me to wait as they think they send it to me via check instead. Not sure how long more will it take to receive funds but just know that if something happened you would have to deal forever with this company. Definitely will be looking for other company when choosing insurance for my next trip.
