Not your ordinary personal trainer, Anne Marie is a real problem-solver!

I have been working with Anne Marie one-on-one at least twice per week for over five years. My goal is to stay strong and flexible as I age (I'm in my 70s). She helped me make big improvements in strength and balance, and recover from various injuries. We started working in person but ever since the pandemic our sessions have been over Zoom, a great convenience.
Anne Marie is fantastic, both personally and professionally. She works with what you have and then takes you to the next level. She has deep knowledge about anatomy and about how the parts of the body are connected in a total movement system. She used that knowledge to identify specific weaknesses in my body that were causing joint pain and then designed a series of exercises to address those specific weaknesses. She gets results. She thinks hard about problems and has done extra research and consulting in order to provide new tools to help me reach my goals. Even with her already vast knowledge and experience, she's always looking to learn more.
Anne Marie is upbeat, a great listener, problem-solver, and cheerleader. It's a real pleasure to be with her. I've recommended her to others who have had the same success I've had in working with her. She's the best!

Outstanding Instructor/Teacher/Practicioner

Anne Marie presented an American Physical Therapy Association approved continuing education course to a group of physical therapy providers in Boston. The course was titled. "Introduction to Core/Pelvic Stability Assessment and Treatment: A progressive series of advanced learning." The attendees commented on Anne Marie's mastery of the material, demonstrating excellence in communicating the material, presenting practical application, noting specific case examples, and providing clinically relevant and applicable knowledge. Anne Marie was accessible to all attendees after the course to answer follow-up questions and guide treatment. As the director of Boston Sports Medicine, we highly recommend Anne Marie for advanced clinical education of rehabilitation providers and as a practitioner, manager, and instructor. Anne Marie demonstrates a level of passion and commitment to her work that is top tier.

Tonacity Fitness - Wellness for all lifestyles and schedules.

I have been working with Tonacity Fitness for many years now. While I may waiver in my practice, Tonacity Fitness is a constant, reliable source for my overall wellness needs. I have formally participated twice in the 10 week course. The first time around there was so much important information I was a bit overwhelmed. Even so, I noticed results. I started the course to help me with leaking. I'd sneeze, jump, laugh to hard and pee sometimes a little sometimes a lot. After the first round of the 10 week course, this embarrassing event no longer happened. I decided to take the course again, just to see what other benefits I could use. The exercises and the awareness of my body became more ingrained in my head, that I was able to notice different areas of my body, muscles, and breathing. I've also been on a weight loss journey. Within the past year, I revisited the 10 week program workouts - combined with my healthy eating I have lost fat and gained muscle and flexibility. Once the 10 week program was complete I was ready for something new. I decided to participate in the 30 day challenge. I thought it would be easy breezy since I was a champ with the 10 week program. Even though I wasn't using weights, the workouts were a challenge and I had just the right amount of muscle fatigue to prove I was getting a workout and not a burnout. Tonacity Fitness programs are user friendly. I am able to workout in the privacy of my own home, without any fancy workout clothes or even sneakers. I workout at all times of the day and night. Whenever I can fit it in. I try to get in 20 - 30 minutes a day. The workouts are all in that range. When I can, I sometimes like to double up. In this way, the workouts are personalized for me. I have recommended Tonacity Fitness to soo many of my friends and family, who have had similar results and experiences, I figured I'd share with the masses.
