We arranged quotes from several firms and to be honest the prices were all in a similar band give or take a few thousand. However, the customer service stood out, timely communication throughout, and the quality of the construction. The whole team used were first class. And the result is outstanding. I particularly liked seeing the short videos on Facebook of work needing carried out on other houses, and our own. Our confidence was high. And we were not let down at any stage. We would recommend the team 100%.

After considerable research and a couple of wildly different quotes we decided on Thermolite who responded promptly to our enquiry.Gary arranged a visit and explained the process and the product in a professional manner and gave us a very competitive quote without putting us under pressure to commit.
We decided to go ahead and are so pleased with the result.Joe and his team were first class professional and on schedule and left everything neat and tidy.

Excellent product and excellent service from the measure up and planning to the finished roof.
For anyone thinking of a replacement conservatory roof, Thermolite were the only company (and we had 10 companies quote us) to do a load bearing survey and suggested that because of the size of the roof a roof support spar and a corner support would be needed.
Thank you to all the team, we are made up with our new roof it’s stunning.

What a very positive experience. From our initial site survey with Gary and his suggestions for a solution to our particular issues, which was a Leka Orangery replacement roof, through the installation work carried out by Kieran, Harry and Bradley and the finishing work carried out by Joe we couldn’t have been more impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail of the whole team.
The whole team, including Sally the Operations Manager were very personable and communications at all stages was excellent. We were never left in any doubt about what would be done when.
Most importantly we couldn’t be more pleased with the end result and would highly recommend Thermolite to anyone thinking of replacing their conservatory roof.

Driver nearly wiped out my family on a roundabout because he was in the wrong lane. Rang the company to complain to which i was told "i'll look into it and ring you back" fast forward a week nearly, still no phonecall so i rang up and got nothing but a condescending snotty attitude. "Ive sorted it, what else do you want me to do!?" As for the driver apparently he didnt even know he'd cut someone off or in the wrong lane for that matter. This was next to a school imagine if it was a kid on a bike and "he didnt realise" i think some training is required for the driver and a lesson in manners for the manager. Apparently only nice to you when they are taking money off you as he pointed out im not a customer so customer service is out the window from that point. What if i was a potential customer? Oh and who makes a review on their own company and replies to it? Laughable company who hire clowns to drive.... thats who

Driver of theirs used the wrong lane and nearly took me of the road I had to take evasive action to stop an accident. Long wheel based van Vs small saloon I would have come out worse. Shocking communication. No follow up without having to ring 3 times. No " I hope you are ok" nothing. Gary doesn't seem to care how I had to pull my car over as I was shaking. He's also rude and his driver didn't even know it happened! Talk about driving without due care and attention. Next to a playground and school may I add. Yeh so if you want your kid knocked over perfect company for your conservatory roof!

Needed a new roof on a large conservatory which was cold, noisy and leaked in wet windy weather. We live on a hill and are very exposed so an insulated solid roof was required. After several silly quotes and typical ‘salesman’ visits we invited Thermolite to come and quote.
That was, in retrospect, a fine move.
Gary came out and, with a refreshingly honest and friendly approach, he gave us confidence that this was the company to go with. His detailed description of the products used and the results we could expect along with a surprisingly affordable quote made the decision easy.
Joe and the team turned up exactly when they said they would and worked in some very challenging conditions (-3C) to get the job done in the timescale agreed.
All the mess was cleaned up inside and out and Joe was friendly and helpful whenever we had questions regarding the build. We now have a room with stunning views that is where we actually live most of the time, eat and watch tv in and where we can now entertain visitors with pride rather than embarrassment. The room was previously not usable in really cold weather, but now it is so much warmer.
There were a couple of slight niggles after the job was complete but after sale service was excellent and Joe came out promptly and sorted them.
All in all a very satisfied customer who would definitely recommend Thermolite.

We decided to upgrade our conservatory roof and looked at a few construction techniques, after seeing the Leka system online we decided on a replacement roof rather than an attempt to insulate the existing polycarbonate panels.
Local installer Thermolite were recommended by Lena and we were not disappointed! Excellent professional follow up to the enquiry, great communications and the team started and finished when they said they would, price was reasonable considering what we were having done and we are really pleased with the results - hence the 5 Star rating. Conservatory is cooler on sunny days and we're expecting warmer in the winter. Can't tell if it's raining now unless we look out the window, no more racket from the conservatory - although this summer so far you can pretty much guarantee the rain most days! - Well Done Thermolite.

After a number of quotes it was good to meet Gary who was very professional in his presentation which was thorough and easy to understand. Price was competitive. The team arrived on the due date and were excellent, also tidying up after themselves.
The quality of the materials and work was excellent and we are very happy with the outcome which fulfilled the promise. They also produced a Building Regulations Certificate which is a plus.
The fact they are a British Company manufacturing their own products is a big plus. A big thank you and we wish them well.

REPLACEMENT CONSERVATORY ROOF
Our new roof was fitted in September 2023
The work was started on time and completed within 3 days.
We are delighted with the finished result...we now have a much more usable space.
We opted for the slate tile effect roof which looks very smart and modern.
Jo and the team worked well together ,they were efficient, professional and friendly.

Brilliant from start to finish. All of the team from Gary to Joe to electricians and others were fab. The roof looks incredible and has transformed the room. We had a leaking conservatory roof and a room we couldn’t use that was far too hot or too cold. Now we’re in there all the time and it’s a second lounge - the work was done quickly and efficiently and they were flexible to our needs for instance putting more lights in etc.
would defo recommend in a heartbeat. Reasonably priced compared to other quotes we got. We love the electric windows and blinds defo worth extra money

This company transformed a rarely used conservatory to a room which we are already spending so much more time in. Not too hot in summer and so much warmer in winter.

Would highly recommend Thermolite to anyone thinking of replacing a glass conservatory roof. Everyone we had contact with in this company were so friendly professional and efficient.

A Building Regulations Certificate came with the construction. This is a key element as to why we chose the Leka roof system installed by Thermolite. This is a must for anyone considering a roof conversion.

In December 2022 Thermolite installed our replacement conservatory roof. I wanted to give a fair review, taking into account our experience of living with the new roof. In summary it has been great! Shortly after installation we had a period of very cold weather - it really was warmer! We have just had some very warm weather - it really has been cooler! So, thanks to Gary, Joe and their team for a job well done, I can definitely recommend Thermolite.

After checking out the website, we had very high expectations for our orangery roof replacement. We had the old glass and PVC roof that was too cold in the winter and too hot in the summner. I'm happy to say that it is even better than we had hoped and I'm really impressed with how it holds the temperature into the evening. The quality of the finish is excellent and you can tell that these guys care about the work they are doing. The team were very professional and were always happy to answer any questions I had. Our new Conservatory Roof has completely changed the way we can now use the conservatory, Thanks to the excellent work done by the entire Thermolite team we will be able to use the ROOM every day without being to hot or cold.

We can’t recommend Gary, Joe and the team highly enough: we wanted a replacement of a very tired conservatory, retaining its original brick base. We particularly wanted to insulate the roof/ceiling, because the space was too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer. We now have a lovely room and it is precisely the opposite - and it is seeing much more use as a result. The attention to detail, high quality products and workmanship, exceptionally friendly and helpful service throughout, and the finishing on time and to budget makes this company really very easy to recommend without reservation. I wholeheartedly recommend the entire Thermalite Team and their work. Everything from Gary's initial assessment through to the finished job was excellent in all respects. The quality of Paul's plastering was brilliant, the lighting is perfect, Jason's roof-work, guttering, drainpipes extremely neat and Joe's co-ordination of the project, made both our experience and of course the improvements to our conservatory excellent. We're exceedingly pleased with the final result and it's made a huge difference because we now have a fully usable room instead of a fridge/hot-house depending on the season.
