My 13 year old rescue Chihuahua loves this food and he is more active than I have ever seen him since adopting him. My subscription was coming very fast as I had failed to say he was only 5 pounds. I messaged Happy Howl and my subscription was immediately changed. Thank you Happy Howl and Chico thanks you too.

Unsatisfactory customer service

After reading the reviews I’d purchased this food for my dog but unfortunately she didn’t tolerate it at all.
I contacted the company asking for a refund upon return and it was denied.
I was really disappointed and disgusted especially being first time customer.
They stated I should have purchased the sample package but in the same time on their website they advertise 30 day refund policy.
Usually companies with a good accreditation will have satisfactory customer service meanwhile this company it is very unsatisfactory.

Worst company ever!

Worst company ever!! I had a subscription with them I received every 2.5 months I would just use this food as a back up for my dogs when we went away or I was out of homemade food. They continue to increase the price with out notice of any kind. Then they increased it by 35% in 1 shipment and the food made my dogs sick I went on and cancelled my subscription. Now come 3 months later they sent the order again anyway after I cancelled and charged my card. Their customer service is ridiculous. Read their policies carefully before you buy. You can basically only get a refund the first time you purchase. So even though they jacked their prices up and must of reduced quality with doing so they will not take returns or give you $ back. I talked to them before the food was even shipped considering I had already canceled the last time I received it. They continued to tell me it was my fault even though it clearly stated on my end it was canceled. So now I have another order of food that makes my dogs sick and it cost me $137!! He was willing to give me a 15% discount if I continued with my subscription where I continued to tell him how I already cancelled it and they had raised the price by 30 % already. Stay away from this company!!! Also read if you try to stop credit card payment it says they will take legal actions against you. A reputable company does not have policies they have!! Also if you cancel your subscription make sure you screen shot the process bc they send you no confirmation emails! So they then just go ahead and bill you again saying it’s your fault you never canceled.

Rotties give it a 10/10

I dont know how long it took to get the shipment because my wife ordered it. I have 2 rotties and a bulldog that absolutely love this food and the rotties are very picky eaters. The older rottie is the worst but amazingly she is now the first one finished. I even have to cut the box open for them so they can clean everything out of it or they will try to dig it out of the trash. They would never finish their kibbles before but during the transition period the eat everything and the bowl is licked clean. They like it so much that they are wanting more soon as they are done. This is a great product but expensive.

Happy customer

Price point. Happy with it. Delivery time.... Happy with it. Took less than 6 days to get here. Taste... My 4 dogs (2 big + 2 little) loved it. 2 are picky eaters as well. I even tasted it... was not bad... But hey, I was military so take it for what it's worth.
So.... about all the negative reviews I have read. I don't get you people. The smell? I thought it smelled fine. It's dog food. And I've smelled tons that were terrible and this isn't one of them. Shipping time? Most times I read about sounded reasonable to me. If your dog is starved then go to the store and buy something until your order gets here. If your prince or princess won't eat THIS food then you've spoiled them entirely too much. I have not yet had to contact customer service so I've got nothing on that. May be a valid complaint the company has to work on. I simply don't know. Overall I am completely satisfied. And this is a real review.

I ordered Happy Howl on the 28th

I ordered Happy Howl on the 28th. of March. My dogs literally should not touch it. I tried different methods to integrate it into their diet with no success. On April 1st. I went on the site and canceled any future shipments. 3 days later I was sent another box of 36 at 169.00 a box. When I talked to a representative he told me that I couldn’t cancel and kept arguing with me that I ordered the second box. When I asked to return the second box they said to donate it and that there were no refunds. They kept offering me different offers to stay with them. Enter that company’s site at your own risk! RUN!

Shame on you Happy Howl

Decided to try Happy Howl despite all the negative feedback. Lesson learned. When reviewing my credit card transaction I noticed they charged me double the price. When I sought to resolve the problem I spent the next thirty minutes chatting with the representative who was trying to find excuses why it might be my fault. Never once offered to make it right. Lost $200 on the conflict. Credit card company here I come. They released the product to me reguardless of my intent to cancel. I allowed my dogs to sample the product since it was here. Gotta tell you all it was at least 50% carbs just looking at it. All potatoes and white rice. Not good. My picky eater was picking around all that crap

We made the horrible mistake of…

We made the horrible mistake of purchasing from Happy Howl because we were told there was a 30 day guarantee. I got the variety pack. Their website somehow placed a discount code that I never entered myself. We received the food and my dog will not take a single bite of it. I sent an email and they responded saying to try a few different techniques to introduce the new food. Everything we tried failed. I let them know I gave it an honest try but she literally would not eat any of it. She has eaten Farmer's Dog and a few of the other higher end foods with no issue so this was really odd. They responded rudely saying that I entered the discount code and that they would not stand behind their product simply because of the discount code that I never even asked for. So now I'm stuck with over 30 boxes of food that my dog won't touch. I took it to my neighbors who have 3 rescue pups and literally none of the will touch it either.
Absolutey HORRIBLE customer service and horrible product with an obvious discount code scam. RUN! Do not trust them. Stick with companies that have reliable customer service like Farmer's Dog and Ollie. The fact that a company will not stand behind their product because of a discount code that I literally knew nothing about is insane. But the rude customer service is a whole next level. I was able to protest this with my credit card and they reversed the charge but more importantly than the money I feel obligated to share my experience with this horrible company so that others aren't hit with the same scam.

Helped my pups hip and joint pain

Lily, our 11-year old Lab, was struggling with arthritis. We tired Happy Howl (to be honest with low expectations) and we were amazed. After months, she's moving better, and her energy has returned. We're so happy to see her comfortable again.

late delivery or NO delivery. bad customer service

my order kept coming very late. the last straw was when it did not come at all. the company tried to say I requested a return. Total bs. they never delivered it to the shipper. I have proof of it through UPS. then they said they would send me a package overnight. lied. never sent anything. so I filed a claim against them. they have the worst customer service and are habitually late.

Taken advantage of

I ordered what thought was a sample pack but now find out I subscribed. My dog is not in the slightest interested in this food and I have loads left.
I just found out I have another shipment on the way. As the product has a two year shelf life, I thought I would be able to return it but no. I am stuck with a $99 order of food that my dog does not like. I’m 75 and that is a lot of money
