I just had the best experience of my…

I just had the best experience of my tennis life. CTT always hooks me up with great tickets. This time I sat court side at Barcelona and literally we were on the court. When I asked Mike for good seats, i didn’t expect to watch Alcaraz wipe his face with a towel from 2 ft away. Rome is next and I know CTT will take care of me.

This client was delivered months ago her tickets she ordered in the seating level and for the date and session she ordered. She was unhappy apparently because she paid more than the original face value for tickets that had been sold out at the box office for months. We are a marketplace not the box office. We don’t set the prices, sellers do. The client claims she got the wrong tickets which is false. She got exactly what she ordered. The tournament changed their tournament schedule after she bought her tickets. We don’t control the tournament schedule obviously. She was given the opportunity to purchase tickets for the round she wanted and take a credit on her original purchase, however she opted instead to just post a bogus review.

I am experiencing such a bad experience…

I am experiencing such a bad experience at AO 2023. I bought tickets for women’s and men’s semi finals and finals. I requested and paid for category 2 tickets but I got issued with category 3 tickets. I enquired about this when the tickets got issued but no resolution was made. I paid more than $1000 AUD per ticket and literally others have paid ~ $200 AUD for the seats.

* update: I know that the price is determined by market. I actually do not mind paying more to get the seats I want. If our family knew we would be right at the back, we would not have flew all the way here. I have evidences that the seats I received are category 3 seats. I emailed Mike with all the evidences but he refuses to respond.

The client ordered and was delivered tickets in the cat 2 level, just as he ordered. We are a marketplace connecting burrs and sellers. The prices of tickets is not controlled by us but by the market.

No stars - Did not receive Laver Cup 2022 tickets

Booked Laver Cup 2022 tickets on 01/03/22. Received an invoice and access to a My CTT account. The account kept showing the tickets as waiting allocation, so I contacted Mike and was told it would be allocated in the week before the event (September 2022). When it still wasn’t allocated in the week before the event, I contacted them again and was told the order had been rejected back in March, even though they took & kept the payment. This was Roger Federer’s final tournament so it was not possible to get tickets from somewhere else so close to the event. The refund was received seven months after the original payment, and after the tournament , so the order had not been cancelled, as CTT claim.

We received a “fraudulent transaction” warning from our merchant processor at the time of the purchase. We were advised to void the transaction and refund the client 100% of their purchase which is what we did. Client Fraud is rampant in our industry where indemnity thieves use a stolen credit card, take delivery of tickets, resell them in the secondary market, then we receive a chargeback from the rightful cardholder. We couldn’t take the chance. This client’s order had a totally different name then what this person’s is now using here in this review.

Totally reliable

Great service. Mike sent me the tickets without paying for them upfront. I had problems with my credit card and he kept his word. OLD SCHOOL type of gentleman. Totally trustworthy.

Unhelpful and no refunds

Purchased tickets for the Australian Open. Both myself and my partner caught Covid and were unable to use the tickets due to isolation. Australian Open has a clear COVID policy that if you’re unable to attend due to isolation, you receive a full refund.
- We contacted Australian open and ticketmaster - stated they would be able to process the refund but only to the initial buyer (tennis tours) as we had received a forwarded ticket
- Subsequently contacted tennis tours via phone - they denied having any direct involvement in the sales of Australian Open tickets (despite advertising on their website and us having purchased from them). They stated they do not directly purchase the tickets and so would be unable to apply for the refund.

All in all a very disappointing experience, not to mention the $50 USD transaction fee on purchase. Would avoid this broker.

I bought ticket for US Open mens finale 2021. Due to US lockdown i was unable to come to states and asked for refund or resell 2weeks prior event. Spoke on phone at least like 5 times plus emails and got same stupid "answers" that it is on process with guy named Mike. It took like 4months and nothing happend. And even more a got stupid answers like the market crashed and they sell tickets on gate for 30 dollars. Like really?! US Open mens finale with totally full stadium and they say this kind ot crap? I paid 450€ for ticket and got NOTHING. Jozef from Slovakia. Avoid them!

I don't think you understand how this works. When we take tickets on consignment, there's no guarantee that the tickets will sell. Last year was a very strange US Open with Covid, in addition, none of the top players were there...no Rafa, no Roger, no Serena, etc....and with covid raging the stands were half-full....lots of tickets never got resold which is the case with your tickets that were in the upper level....you could have taken ownership of the situation at any time, and offered them out to anyone, but you wanted us to try and sell the tickets. The few tickets that were selling were the very good seats in the loge or courtside level that sold for pennies on the dollar. Wish things would have worked out better for you, but there's only so much we can control.

You were delivered exactly the tickets in the CAT 1 that you purchased. The ticket delivery schedule was exactly what was indicated at purchase. Not sure what more you were expecting or could have happened.

Avoid this company!

I ordered a ticket for US open 2020. On ordering all communication was quick and responses efficient. However when the event was cancelled, I chose to have my ticket rolled over to 2021. As the COVID situation developed I changed my mind and requested a refund. I began asking for a refund in June 2021, all emails were ignored, and when I tried phoning several times, I could not get through. I finally got a response August 29th asking me to transfer my ticket to Chris Bumford, which I have done. I’ve not had any response yet, my ticket is for tomorrow……..

My name is Natalia Tchorny

My name is Natalia Tchorny. I am writing about my recent experience with the Championship Tennis Tours costumer service. In August 2020 I ordered ticket to Wimbledon 2021 through this company. I paid the full price and got confirmation of my order and payment. At this point the service was excellent.
This ticket is a present for my husband’s 60th
birthday
Unfortunately, he was recently diagnosed with gastric adenocarcinoma which has an extremely poor prognosis. We will therefore be unable to travel to the tournament.Since April 2021 I have been appealing to customer service and Mike Bernstein, president of this company and to Chris Bumford, VP of Operations.
I have called customer service several times and sent messages as well with no reply. When I ordered this ticket I paid service fees and now I am unable to resolve this problem. I would appreciate your help in dealing with this unfortunate situation

We have been in communication multiple times with Nathalie and are working to help her resell her single ticket she purchased via consignment. She will hopefully do well with that.

Support was there when needed

Ordered a package to the Rogers Cup 2020 event but due to it being rescheduled to 2021 I had to reach support for a refund. Mike and Chris were able to assist me and I'm very thankful for their help and support.

No refund for US Open 2020

My experience of CTT is quite different to other reviewers. Like may other customers who bought tickets to the 2020 US Open, I chose to have the costs of the ticket I had purchased refunded. This arrangement was settled in June last year, and I'm still waiting for my refund.

Edited after response from CTT: This is incorrect. I repeatedly emailed CTT indicating that I was ONLY interested in a refund as international travel was no longer possible for the foreseeable future. They stopped answering my emails earlier this year, and I needed to get my money back through my bank’s MasterCard disputes process.
Further edited after further response from CTT: No, it’s not complicated, Mike. I was given the option of a refund by CTT in June last year. I took this option. No refund was forthcoming. I’m not interested in doing further business with your company. IT’S NOT COMPLICATED.

Hi Margaret,

Like all of our clients for the US Open 2020 that was canceled due to covid you were given the option to take ctt dollars (which are available to you now and can be used towards the purchase of any service we offer) or roll over your order to this year's tournament.

It’s not complicated.

Best. Mike

Originally we rolled over your tickets for 2020 which was canceled to 2021. As we never heard back from you you were given an in store credit of CTT dollars on May 6th that were issued to your account and are available to be used towards use any future purchase including this year’s US Open. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Roma Open 2020 (COVID)

Last year was a very challenging year for all of us, we made projects that we were unable to accomplish, we organized holidays that we were unable to do and we bought tickets for tennis matches that we were unable to attend. So we learned a lot, we had great lessons from where to trust at the time of purchase, and without a doubt we made the best choice Championship Tennis Tours did everything they could to ensure the loyalty of their customers, I confess that with the delay on the part of the organization Roma Open tournament took me to frustration, but Chris and team knew how to solve everything in the best possible way! Honestly Championship Tennis Tours guaranteed a customer, because it is in times of difficulties that we have to know who to count on!
My thanks, and may 2021 be wonderful for all of us!
Best Regards
Giselle

US Open During COVID

In November 2019, I booked two tickets to the US Open in NY for Labor Day weekend. COVID hit in March, 2020. Tennis Tours and I stayed in constant contact about getting a refund because the US Open decided not to allow spectators. I received a full refund quicker than even they anticipated thanks to Chris' string effort in a difficult time.
