This service sucked!! SUCKED. I had an appt with a provider for medication management but I needed a pre-authorization form completed by the provider for my insurance so that the pharmacy could fill the medication. I tried to message my provider in the patient portal just to receive a reply message from someone else stating they’d pass along the info to my provider? Weeks later when I had my first follow-up, I told the provider I had not yet received the medication and that she was to complete my pre-authorization form which I messaged about in the portal WEEKS ago. She clearly was never informed about it. I ended up contacting my pharmacy and asked them to send the pre-authorization form to the fax number for this company so someone could complete it. I sent another portal message to the provider (which I knew she wouldn’t ever see the message but there was no other way to contact the provider) and again, a random person replied to me stating they’d have the form filled out and sent to insurance/pharmacy. This literally never happened. Absolute waste of time and money. Also, to schedule a follow up appt with provider, I couldn’t just do it during the appointment. I had to call an 800 number to schedule my next appt. Don’t waste your time or money!

Can't reach anyone about charges. Random charges appearing on my credit card. Low quality services. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I got an appointment, then an email that they are not in my network and it would cost $375 for my appointment.
Mental healthcare is a joke.
Let’s charge someone on the verge of a breakdown $375, when they can’t afford groceries.
Make it make sense

NP doesn’t respect people’s time and has difficulty focusing on the patient. She was 30 minutes late to both of my appointments and spent so much of the time talking about herself that I finally had to start interrupting her in an effort to discuss my concerns before the end of the session. In both appointments we ended up rushing through possible treatments and next steps in the last 10 minutes of the session. Ultimately her lack of professionalism makes it difficult for me to trust her with my mental healthcare.

I joined Dr. Schaefer’s practice a few back in September 2024 after researching several Dr’s I thought she would be a good fit for me. We had 2 successful zoom sessions both leaving me happy with my decision to choose her as my Dr. I suffer from a number of mental health disorders which are managed with medication treatment which affects my ability to work with and around others. I reached out to Dr. Schaefer to request a letter to submit to an agency that provides basic needs for me and my children. Being that i was a fairly new pt Dr. Schaefer requested to contact my psychotherapist to gather more information regarding my care that I’ve been receiving from her. In addition to providing Dr. Schaefer with her contact information I had also provided her with extensive session notes from previous psychiatrists I had treated with. I gave Dr.Schaefer the office number and also a private line which I asked her not to call until I confirmed with the therapist that it was ok for Dr. Schaefer to contact her on that number. I also explained that this was a time sensitive matter and i had to have the letter from her in order to continue receiving assistance from the agency or I would be ineligible for assistance from them. I waited 2 days and I had not heard back from Dr. Schaefer so I called the office and left several messages for Dr. Schaefer and all my messages were not returned and I did not hear anything back from Dr. Schaefer. A whole week went by and during my session with my therapist who was aware of the whole situation and awaiting a call from Dr. Schaefer, she called my therapist on the phone number I asked her not to call until I got the ok from the therapist that it was ok for her to call that line! My therapist informed me that Dr. Schaefer was reaching out to her on that private line and with my permission I agreed that it was ok to speak with the Dr. we ended my session early so that they could speak. My therapist informed me later that evening that she spoke with Dr. Schaefer. I was given an extension from the agency that i receive assistance from after letting them know that Dr. Schaefer would be submitting the letter. After several days of no response and missing the extension deadline I called the office to find out why Dr. Schaefer had not submitted the letter or why hadn’t she contacted me after I left several messages. When i called the office i was extremely anxious and I spoke with a gentleman who was very rude and showed no empathy towards me and my concerns i explained to him that I had left several messages for Dr.Schaefer regarding the letter he ended up hanging up the phone on me and when i called back the young lady who answered left me on hold for over 16 minutes before I eventually ended the call. I called back and was told that the office had closed and I had reached the answering service. The next day I called to speak with a supervisor or manager and i spoke with Christine/Christina who identified herself as the office manager i explained to her that I had left several messages for Dr. Schaefer regarding the letter and I also complained about the rep that hung up on me and the other rep that left me on hold I requested that she review the phone calls being that the automated message states that the phone calls are recorded. She was very attentive to my concerns and said that she would review my previous calls and contact Dr. Schaefer directly regarding the letter. She told me she would call me back that day with a f/u and i told her that I was worried that I would not get a call back because of the lack of communication from the office and Dr. Schaefer. She assured me that she would contact me before she leaves the office. I never heard back from her. Instead I received a email the next day from Dr. Schaefer stating that I was being “terminated” because i was being abusive to the staff which was not the case. I was extremely surprised by this being that I was the one who had made the complaint about how the staff had treated me and I was the one to ask for the calls to be reviewed. Instead of Dr.Schaefer reaching out to me to ask about the situation I had with her staff she chose to cancel my services. This staff are unprofessional as well as Dr. Schaefer

Therapist trauma dumped on me and had the 90 min intake last 2.5 hours!!! Do I get paid? I shouldn’t know more about my therapist than she me. Also, it’s impossible to cancel appointments. I’ve called twice and have received 3 texts and calls after reminding me of my appointment 🤦♀️

No direct communication from Doctor Melton after contacting for 48 hours. She changed my medication without notifying me in advance and would not follow up with me when adverse side affects occurred.

I made the appointment for ADD. I typically use Google calendar, add appointments there and keep my appointments. I missed my first appointment. It was a few weeks out from when I first scheduled and I simply forgot. I usually receive appointment reminders, check my calendar and find that the appointment is already there. With this appointment, I did not receive any communication from the office after I booked the appointment and gave them my insurance AND credit card information. As a remote service treating people with ADD sending reminder emails, like every other service that uses digital means to set the appointment, would improve things for patients.

They were unable to properly verify my insurance benefits. The team was not proactive at communicating any issues. I have been forced to call multiple times to try and resolve the billing issue. They are now no longer responding to emails or helping me get the appropriate paperwork so that I can properly file a claim with my insurance company. They never filed a claim and just charged me directly and won’t help resolve the issue. Feels like a scam organization looking to just charge clients full price and lie about using my insurance.

I will never use or recommend this service. Ever. Within two hours of an email saying I was "accepted" and should follow the provided instructions to schedule an appointment, I was called by a rep to schedule an appointment. It was a work day and I was working. I could not follow the email instructions while I was in meetings! And I certainly did not appreciate getting a phone call. This "service" seems to care much more about its income than about the needs of people who try to use it. Update:
As to the "reply" this review received ... the service *did* contact me by email, but was so impatient that it contacted me by phone just two hours later. The second contact was unnecessary, intrusive, and very pushy. I stand by my initial review.
