Exactly what I've been needing!

Exactly what I've been needing!

I've been trying to protect my Minecraft server, I've been experiencing some Ddos attacks here and there, so I needed some extra protection. I almost instantly came across TCPShield and went for it.

I had some issues, and decided to contact support. They instantly stepped in and solved all my issues for me, without any problems.

Yes, their services might seem expensive. But remember what they solve in return of you paying some money to protect your server and give your community an amazing experience.

So yes, I do recommend this for people who actually care about their community.

Im wondering how this is free

The customer support is 10/10 they helped me to resolve a problem that i had been stuck for many hours with a simple and understandable explaination, also the DDoS protection is really good because from previous experiences it saved my server from DDoS attackers

The service looked promising but wasn't

The service looked promising, but after a few hours people started to get like 500-4000 ms ping and checking with mtr there were massive dropped packets every now and then. I was even getting connection dropped several times, so had to stop using the service.

Also the 1 TB data/month that the free plan offered wasn't going to be enough for a server with even less than 10 people playing on. I was almost up to 1 gig data after a couple of hours.

I would stick with the DDoS protection that the colo place have. Not paying $100 per month to be able to just mask my server IP. Not worth it.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ANY COST!!

Firstly, they forced us to pay for services and they banned us from our free plan!! After telling them that we don't want to pay and that we want a free tier plan like most people have.. they even blocked our IP (User IP), so now we cant access any Tcpshield protected server.. Who the hell gives them permission to ban someone from someone's server like that without server owner's permission? That's illegal!!!

Also, our backend IP has been left in their system. First, they attempted to DDoS our backend (we have strong evidence of that).

DDoS is illegal and a "serious" company and service provider should never do anything like that.. HUGE SHAME TO THEM.

We will surely open a case in agency to investigate and to punish them. You can also check other's reviews here. A few good is paid!!!!

Amazing!!! Maybe they were bad at one time (as there are a lot of bad reviews), but for me they are just what i need!

I have been looking for a way to protect the IP of my home minecraft server from people being able to see it or DDOS it. While TCPShield themselsves do not say they will provide any support for this (but they do allow it), TCPShield is the best way of doing so, and they allow it on their platform as long as you don't expect it to magically make your terrible home internet better. Clouflare spectum, the only other alternative is only really for people with thousands to spend on ddos protection. It's amazing they even have a free tier, which after i saw it was only roughly £20 a month to get access to some of the premium features such as the API, i decided to buy the Pro plan... and with the API i worte a simple bash script to update the IP that i want to protect as i am running my Minecraft servers on a home and have a dynamic IP Address. Really good product and the only reasonably priced product to solve this problem! Shame about the bad reviews, maybe they saw them and started trying to make thir service better, which if so, they did a good job!

Pretty good ddos protection service

Pretty good ddos protection service used by many servers. My old review was 1 star however the service is far better with the old guys fired. Steven is carrier neutral and won't ban you from the service for dumb stuff.

Tcp Shield fake numbers

Tcp Shield was good at protecting ddos attacks, but now they add fake a mounts of total bandwidth used making you pay for a plan, and there is no way I have used 4tb recently, its just not possible.
