I expected to hire a neighbor to come help out, what i got was a company masquerading and double charging for the task i booked. Contacted customer service to try to cancel the task/charge and they put me on hold for over 30 hours before dropping my service request.

Sergio was polite and worked for 12 hours to build an ikea cabinet, but the quality was poor and we had to take it all down and rebuild. He cut corners and didn’t secure it onto studs, and then he threw away the pieces that were supposed to be hung on the wall so there would be no evidence of his poor workmanship. This showed a lack of integrity, not to mention theft of the pieces.

Tasker didn't show up and canceled with 45 minutes notice for a home move. Taskrabbit couldn't be reached. Useless. Will never use again.

Terrible platform 😪
No way to communicate with a live agent. For the amount of fees Taskrabbit charge, it's ridiculous that your process is set up to avoid having direct phone contact with the customer. I paid almost $16.00 per hour to use your platform to get reputable person that supposed to have skills. I followed your instructions to dispute the charges and didn't get a response, but I get feedback request for feedback. Your platform is scamming people. A fee per hour on top of the tasker charges for the task. Worst platform I have ever used. I will never used it again and will let others know how this platform really operates by taking a hourly fee for what when you provide no way to reach a live customer service agent regarding disputes.

Taskrabbit was recommended highly to me by my sister. I needed ceiling fans installed into an already established light fixture outlet. I was really excited to use this service!

My first Tasker rescheduled me 4 times. I tried to schedule 2 other Taskers; one never responded to confirm my booking, the other one rescheduled twice and then canceled within an hour of the appointment and suggested I work with his colleague, independently from TaskRabbit. This made me feel very uneasy so I declined.

My initial Taskers finally kept our 4th rescheduled appointment. He told me the task should take about 1:30 and it ended up taking him 2:30 hours. Quite a substantial time considering this is a pre-existing outlet. Once he left, I turned the ceiling fan on high and it was wobbling like it was going to fly off. I freaked out and turned the fan off as it’s clearly a safety hazard.

I reached out to Taskrabbit support and needless to say, it’s 3 days and there has been no resolution, no concern about the faulty job, or refund. Support is delayed 2-3 days for each point of contact. I’m going to have to dispute this with my credit card company and hire someone to fix this.

Horrible experience on both the Tasker and the company.

Professional and problem solved! For that I am giving 5 stars. Even though the issue was small, the plumbing job was handled well and resolved. However, I paid the fee upfront based on the the kitchen sink disposal not working. However, the plumber figured it was a small issue/switch below turned or tripped off. So, I did not fully understand on what basis the fee is charged upfront and split up of the same once it is completed.

What I liked most about this Tasker was that it was "no fuss no muss". He arrived on time, brought his own tools, and did the job like a professional. Not only was the task done well, he finished on time, and cleaned his work area. Done. No fuss, no muss. .
