No support and equipment that doesn't work! Please save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!

I purchased the capo tc82 solar powered garden camera and hoped to have a fairly trouble free installation. Sadly this wasn't to be the case and everything started to go wrong from the first to the last. When I started up the device I had lots of issues trying to connect to my Wi-Fi and had to reset the device several times before eventually it actually seemed to work. I then dried to put in and SD card and it's would not be recognized but subsequently kept saying that it needed to be formatted even though it had been formatted previously and the device kept switching from needing to format it to not recognising it. This was not the SD card issue but the hard work of the device camera. I eventually took the SD card out and placed it in another device which it worked perfectly in. I decided to persevere without an SD card and therefore no local recording and tried to carry on however the device then started to default to privacy mode which is when it doesn't function record or display anything at all. I then decided to reset and format the device so that I could remove it and start again however it just went from bad to worse. Please please don't buy tapo as it is a useless device and there is absolutely no support available at all.

Had an issue with my tapo camera

Had an issue with my tapo camera(specially with solar panel that charging the camera), i contacted support team, and it was very responsive. I talked with Joshua he did his best and initieted the warranty process of replacement of that part. Hope I will get it. Thanks Joshua.

Tapo camera AI issues

I have a number of cameras from Tapo. One of them has been identifying my dog, and even a spider as a person. I appreciate that the AI cannot get it right all the time. However, in this cameras case, it is all the time. I did contact customer service. Although they are friendly, they have not helped at all. In fact the reply is more on the topic of "sorry for the issue" or "we working to resolve this". Thinking off hand this issue goes back 2 months. This week I saw that my case has been close without resolution.
