They used to be great - not anymore....

A month ago I was singing the praises of TPT: great company with great support. Recently, however, I have been billed for an account which no longer exists - was told by a couple of 'support' people that the money was being refunded - the last one stated 1-3 business days...it hasn't happened. Now, I can't even get access to my account online. I have spent many thousands with TPT, recommended them to a LOT of people and have been treated recently like I'm nothing. I don't get it.

Take Profit Trader is King of the Hill

Take Profit Trader is hands down the king of the hill when it comes to futures prop firms. From the no activation fee to daily withdrawals, I absolutely love TPT.

I have currently have 2 funded accounts and 2 evaluations with them. The withdrawals are pretty fast once they are approved and sent to your wallet. The approvals aren't instant but you should be approved in 24 hours or less unless you make a withdrawal request on Friday.

I had to contact support only once and the agent named Pam helped me greatly.

I can't see myself using any other prop firm besides Take Profit Trader.

Refund issued after a subscription mix up

I had no active subscription set to renew on my dashboard, but I was charged for a combine due to a mix up between Take Profit Trader and PayPal. I reached out to Eghie with chat support and they issued my refund within minutes. I also made sure that this subscription was canceled through PayPal, so this doesn't happen again. I was once again pleased with the support I was given!

If I could give this company a 0 star I…

If I could give this company a 0 star I would. They are a scam. GO WITH TOPSTEP! TOPSTEP DOESNT TAKE YOUR MONEY LIKE TPT PREDATORILY. TPT said trades were to be closed before 1pm and I closed my trade before 1pm and they closed my evaluation failed it. BEWARE OF THIS PREDATORY COMPANY as they will take your hard earned money.

What happened to support?

What happened to support?

I have never had an issue with TPT, but the support experience recently has been absolutely awful. Unfortunately, when you reach out your chances of receiving any support within a reasonable timeframe is basically zero.

I have open support cases that have received zero attention. Billed for accounts that don’t exist. Not received credits for passed evaluations.

At this moment, TrustPilot is the only place to try and get answers. I hope this gets resolved soon, it gets harder by the minute to continue supporting TPT.

This is not a business that values fairness, transparency, or integrity. Proceed with extreme caution!!!

This company will play mind games with you and deny any wrongdoing. Laura, in particular, was extremely uncooperative and falsely claimed my issue was “resolved” when it absolutely wasn’t.

I was denied a refund after being locked out of my account due to repeated payment processing failures—despite multiple debit and credit cards (all with sufficient funds) being declined. Their payment system is deeply flawed. I contacted SIX different agents via chat within the past week and shockingly, not one of them noticed my account was locked. How do six separate agents miss such a basic issue?

When they finally unlocked my account—days later—they still refused to adjust my subscription billing date or offer reset credits for the time I was locked out. I simply asked for a fair solution, and they refused. I then requested a refund, which they also denied.

To make matters worse, they tried to blame me, claiming I attempted too many cards. No—the fault lies with their broken payment processor. It’s the company’s responsibility to fix their own technical issues, not punish the customer for them.

They also play games with their support tickets, closing them within minutes if you don’t reply instantly—forcing you to open new tickets for the same unresolved issue. It’s a deliberate tactic to exhaust and frustrate customers.

A simple $200 refund I requested has now escalated into me disputing over $1,500+ for every single purchase I have made within the last 90 days because they failed to uphold their own subscription terms (allowing me to reset and then refusing to move my billing date for the week of missed opportunity) and denied me access to the services I paid for. I am moving forward with multiple chargebacks through my credit card issuer and welcome a formal investigation into this company’s unethical practices.

Great First Impression

First support interactions have been great so far. I am new to the firm overall, however, I needed to resolve something with support early on and they were quick to respond and resolved the issue.

BEWARE NO PRO CREDITS WHEN REDEEMING POINTS

Today is July 3rd 2025 and I passed my evaluation yesterday. I received an email today for a PRO account. They are suppose to give a free credit for a PRO account. Today is 4th time when I am facing the same issue. I tried contacting the customer support they said when you redeem your points for a evaluation test. you don't get a credit for PRO account. So point system of TPT is useless. I could have paid $90 or $100 for 25k account but now I have to pay $130 for same thing? When I was redeeming my 3000 points it had an option of entering the promo code. I did enter NOFEE30 and still no credits. This has happened so many times now. Customer service says this is how system works. Customer service person was RHAYAN. This company also doesnot provide receipts for any payments. Not in your email, nor when you just make a payment. I will remove my review if issue is resolved.

Zero to no customer service

Zero to no customer service. Im reading all these reviews in astonishment with the response levels to these individuals. I have been with TPT since 4 months. Each time I have an issue or question I can never get a response via chat, it always has to go to a human. The last 4 requests have each taken 10 days for them to respond. I dont know if they are overwhelmed, understaffed or both. Another issue I had is that the day after I reset a test account and had almost 50% of the profit target, I got an email that the account had expired. I inquired why 3 times and never received a response as to why an account expires. looked all over their website and couldnt find an answer either. While they did give me a credit finally for a new eval, I have yet to understand how an account expires. Lastly, I have been having problems with my ablility to login to TPT. I dont know if they locked me out or are having systems issues. As I continue to inquire I receive no response. Hopefully someone sees this and gets back to me.
