Good furniture store with huge…

Good furniture store with huge selection of tables and chairs, I got few deliviries before, and did it recently again. Lisa from customer support help me a lot and save time to choose proper upholstery for my chairs and pick right table size. No complaints.

Beyond disappointed

Beyond disappointed. We had orders booths for our restaurant in 2021. We decided to expand our booth seating area this year. I reached out to Superior and had them send me the invoice from our 2021 order to confirm I order the exact same booths that we currently have. Placed my order and they confirmed that they would match exactly. 6 weeks later we received them and they are NOT the same color. They are similar but definitely not the same and it is noticeable. It looks like they sent us the wrong color in 2021 but we had nothing to compare them to at the time and just assumed the website had a color variation. When trying to get them to make it right they basically blame me and said I should’ve sent them a picture of our current booths, yet never asked me to do that when I told them I want to make sure they match. They offer me a $500 refund for the “inconvenience” and refuse to do anything else to make it right. Now I’m stuck with several thousands of dollars worth of booths that don’t match. I would never work with them again due to their refusal to admit their mistake and fix it.

When placing an order, it is crucial for customers to review and approve all order details to ensure accuracy. Our records show that the order specified the booths' color "Paprika," which is what was delivered. While we strive to match previous orders exactly, it is up to the customer to confirm the details of the previously received orders including and not limited to providing appropriate photos, emails, etc. In addition, samples of the materials are provided free of charge and highly encouraged. It is also not unusual for someone else to have placed the order and made final decisions years ago - which is exactly what transpired in your case.
We understand your frustration and since your agreed to keep the booths, we offered a $500 refund as a gesture of goodwill. Our goal is always to provide excellent service and high-quality products, and we are sorry that you are less than 100% satisfied.

Awesome furniture

As a brewery owner, I recently kitted out my bar with chairs from Superior. Their selection is top-notch, and prices were decent. Had a bit of a mix-up with delivery dates, but customer service sorted it out pretty fast, even if it took a couple of calls. The chairs look stellar in our space, really matching our vibe we've got. Definitely recommend, just double-check on those delivery times!

Probably best restaurant furniture supply in east cost

I wanted to drop you a note to express my appreciation for the excellent service we've received. Running a restaurant in Manhattan comes with its own set of challenges, and having the right seating is crucial. When I reached out, the assistance we received from Ed was incredibly helpful throughout the process. They patiently listened to our needs and budget constraints, offering practical solutions and expert advice. Their professionalism and friendliness made it a pleasure to work with them. However, I must admit that I initially made a mistake when placing our order. I accidentally chose the wrong color for the seating. It was a bit of a panic moment for me, but when I reached out to customer service, they were quick to assist. They not only corrected the order details promptly but also managed to ease my worries with their friendly and reassuring demeanor. ****Anyone trying to replace or buy…

****Anyone trying to replace or buy chairs or stools for home or a business. I would be very very careful dealing with Superior Seating in Kenilworth NJ.

Flash back to September 2022…I bought new bar stools and within 3-4 months they were already broken! I called the company which then gave me a long run around and refused to replace the stools. They offered to sell us the same stools but at a discounted rate! Smfh. I then told them I would be calling the better business bureau so they then tell me they would allow me to go to a warehouse to possibly fix the stools. To make it seem like they are trying to help us. This is going on for months might I add. We didn’t finally get the address until last week sept 2023!!

The warehouse then states they can’t fix them and still will not replace the stools but we can pay $25 each stool for a different model which don’t match the set we purchased of stools and chairs for our business. Then the sales guy who sold me them Ed said I have to again speak to someone else in the company named Jane the sales manager whiuch was the one who originally gave me the run around (which is the most rude and unprofessional person you could speak to might I add my husband could barely get a word in with her) so once again we are being bounced to someone else with no real solution and they do not stand by their products.

This is the worst most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with!! I informed them I will be speaking to our attorney and filing a claim as I have exhausted every avenue to try to fix this situation and keep a good relationship with these people. Do yourself a favor and be careful. The floor models are not what they are sending out. Ed even admitted to us we probably received a bad batch!! Smfh. He then said since I will not take the offer of paying for new stools and taking it as a loss that he will not do anything for us. Absolutely disgusting and disappointing !!

Thank you for your recent review (s). We just would like to set the record straight.

We have addressed your concerns and issues with your 9 bar stools as soon as you contacted us - a few months after you purchased your bar stools (Purchased in September and reported a problem in January). You spoke to each and every sales person in our company. There were numerous emails and phone calls that everyone answered in a timely and professional manner which we have full history of.

You reported that the bar stools with backs have started to have bent legs - 9 out of 26. We discussed what could have been the problem. You mentioned that your customers tend to rock back and forth on the stools and that this may have been an issue but you are not always at the bar to manage your staff.

We sell commercial quality products all over US with this particular model in thousands per year. We have virtually no complaints about these stools. As with anything, when the furniture is used as intended, there should be no issues. Also, there is no such thing as "bad batch" when referring to 9 stools failing at ONE restaurant out of thousands sold all over the country.

Having said that, we did offer to replace the bases of the stools at 50% off. You declined the offer never to be heard from again. TILL NOW....

We suggested to take a few of your damaged bar stools to our factory and see what options you may have available now even though the chairs are now OUT OF WARRANTY. Our production manager at the warehouse advised you that they were not salvagable and provided yet another solution to purchase another model of brand new bar stools. The replacement bar stools offered are fully welded and extremely durable and would have been an upgrade over your current ones at @ $25 per bar stool which is a very reasonable offer given the time lapse and the history of things.

After rejecting yet another reasonable offer at a solution, you and your husband came storming into our showroom at the time of closing and were forcefully trying to resolve this with one of the sales people.

The $25 offer still stands, regardless of the one-sided and malicious reviews you have posted about our business on every site imaginable.

Highly recommend

We received metal chairs with a wooden veneer back & seat from Superior Seating and they arrived without damage, are very comfortable, and look great within the Mellow Mushroom restaurant. Highly recommend and will order from Jane again for stores in the future!

Very unpleasant

Slow Delivery Promise Quick Ship No Chance

A very argumentative company. They advertise quick ship yet LIE to get your money then just LIE some more to make customers mad. If they just would have been truthful and stated no companies will ship for them or they would charge a little more to get a good company moving their products they might actually be a successful company. After this I wont recommend them. Was notified today 14 days since they received payment in full that they will be canceling my order and returning my money in full. They also did not like that I placed a review after no answers from customer service. Then Mr. Bradley Emailed me to voice his concerns as to my review and stated I should receive refund tomorrow. Will keep you updated. Well, I received a receipt saying I was refunded 4 days ago yet it's still not back in account. I cant understand how a company can suck the money out yet not return it as fast. Either they dont have the funds or the receipt is fake. Stay away from these dishonest company and pawns for employee's.

Thank you for sharing your feelings. However, we would like to use this opportunity to clarify a few important points.

You placed your order online the night of 7/20, with your payment clearing the next business day, 7/21. Since you had not specified any specific rush target date, you order was set to process within 10 business days, in priority order, first in, first out. This is completely customary and allows our logistics team to provide our potential customers the lowest freight possible by combining multiple orders on the same delivery truck. On 7/27, you had requested an update and we notified you via email that your order is slated to ship out the week of 8/3, that is 2 weeks after, as promised.
On 7/29 we received the following email:

Subject: Quick ship promise
Please explain this promise. I ordered my tables on the 20 july and was told no more than 10 business days but most likely faster since tables were quick ship and already in stock. So now my status is in production? what is that? sounds to me as a stall tactic and I expect the table tops to my location by Friday August 1 2020!!!


In turn, we had reiterated the above lead time via email and phone while explaining that the order status will stay “In Production” until the order leaves our warehouse.

Ted, we have been in business for 35 years and rarely if ever have any issues in fulfilling our orders in the described manner as evidenced by more than a few reviews commending us for our quick turnarounds. Again, had you provided a specific target date we would have instructed our shipping and logistics teams to process the order accordingly. It is a real shame that this was not satisfactory and led to this unfortunate review.

The driver did not call the contact on…

The driver did not call the contact on the order. They delivered to the wrong building. The customer (and 10 volunteers) had to move all 100 chairs to the correct building. I have a very unhappy customer. Why no call?

Customer service was outstanding

Customer service was outstanding! Very helpful and responsive staff...and the tables and chairs were delivered in a timely fashion considering how quick I needed them! The tables and chairs look nice and feel sturdy, except for the fact that they scratch very easily. Even lightly pulling a cardboard box from one side of the table to the other scratches it...and that was determined by accident. Other than that, great product!
