Written by the company

Our Co-founder and Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. Tory Waxman started Sundays as a solution to her own everyday problem: She couldn't find a dog food that was as nutritious and fresh as home-cooked meals and as convenient as dry food. And that’s how Sundays, the first fresh, air-dried food of its kind, was born. Our mission is to make it easier to be an awesome dog parent. We take the headache out of fresh food, making it more nutritious and also more affordable than the leading raw and frozen brands. Sundays has the cleanest ingredients around; is 100% USA-made; and has a Customer Care Pack who love dogs as much as you do, and are available every day for you and your pup!

Me and Maximus

Both me and Max, a cavachon, love Sunday’s beef flavor…maybe too much - wants to gobble up within seconds! Ive softened his meals in a little warm water first to soothe my worry about his choking. That said, it’s a bit expensive for our fixed budget, so I’ve decided to adjust account to a custom delivery of only every several months - plan to use it as a healthier version of his individual treats, max gets soo excited. (I cook and freeze his daily meals for a month currently) I really appreciate Sunday’s flexibility in offering the different options to accommodate our pets and budgets.

My German Shepherd Scarlett loves Sundays!

My German Shepherd female, Scarlett is going to have her 10th birthday in November. She has arthritis and hip issues, and allergies. I have been feeding her Sundays as a supplemental trial with her vet approved dry and wet foods. Sundays has improved her coat, helped lessen itchy skin irritation and itchy ears and paws. Her coat (black and tan) is shiny and puppy soft again. Scarlett is a bit of a diva about food too, so when she gracefully gobbled up her serving of Sundays and looked around for more, I was thrilled!

Happy with the flavors

Happy with the flavors. Our dog seems to like it. I love that that the food is freeze dried and able to keep at room temperature. When we transitioned foods, our dog had a bit of gas but it was not stinky!

Good company…

There were some initial issues with the length of time the order arrives but they did an amazing job rectifying the situation. Mistakes will always happen with any company, but it’s how you make it right for the customer that matters. AND, more importantly, my picky dog loves the food!

My Dog Approves 300%

Switched my Aussie to Sundays chicken.
He is in love with this food❣️
He has more energy & has lost 2.5 lbs in first 3 weeks of Sundays. He had surgery a week ago and was up and moving well after a couple days. Had large mass under Rt front leg/armpit that caused him to limp. I think this food has helped in his being so active so soon. He’s going on 12 and acting like he’s 2 again.
Thank You Thank You Thank You 🥰

Over priced and quality of food has decreased.

Sundays customer service will give you a discount on purchasing more than 3 bags of food then take it away the discount once your fur baby is adjusted to the food. Now it’s $350 for 4 bags 72 oz bags which is a rip off. The quality of the food has gone down too. The food was brown colored like beef jerky now it’s a greenish tan hue. Don’t get your fur baby hooked on this and let them rope you into their price hike scam.

Sundays for Dogs answered my doggy dreams!

After trying spot and tango for my chihuahua I was frustrated and upset because it caused my dog to have severe diarrhea. I was hesitant to try yet another brand but it was soooo worth it. I have a 2 year old chihuahua who weights 6lb that is regularly active. According to Sunday’s for dogs food chart she only needs 1/8cup 2x per day if the chicken flavor. She has great energy, loves her food, and her hair is so shiny. I finally am not worried that I am feeding her some food that may be harming her somehow. Thank you!

Quality Food Easy to Serve

I was feeding a pre-made raw diet of frozen cubes I had to cut into quarters for my Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix. Sometimes we didn't remember to thaw in time.

In a raw feeding Facebook group, members frequently suggested Sundays since it's human grade and no synthetic vitamins/minerals. After getting the trial bag, I knew this was the one. I received the turkey recipe on time, every time.

I selected beef for the next order. Within 48 hours, Rocco was scratching and biting himself. I noticed he had welts and I checked for fleas and ticks. Nothing. Since the food is the only thing that changed, I figured he had a reaction to the beef recipe.

I emailed Sundays. I had a response within hours and Sundays said it would expedite and ship the turkey recipe at no additional cost. That's excellent customer service, but I didn't receive the food. I emailed again, had a quick reply and the prompt arrival of the Turkey recipe. Within 48 hours of eating the turkey recipe, the scratching and biting stopped. Lesson learned, I'm sticking with the turkey recipe. I'm also sticking with Sundays. Quality food, good customer care.

I saved the best for last. My groomer raved about Rocco's dense, lush, shiny coat and healthy skin and toenails. 😊 Rocco is a four-year-old rescue from a horrific hoarding environment. The dogs were caked in feces, urine and fleas. Their skin had rashes and sores. It took months at the rescue organization for this little guy to heal.

Being raw fed, he's looking and feeling magnificent. Sundays makes it easier to keep him raw fed. It's not cheap but it's less costly than vet bills. All health begins in the gut and I love this boy's improved health.

By the way, I gave the beef recipe to a friend with two Yorkies. She's impressed that she can pronounce the ingredients in the food. She also talks non-stop about fresh breath and no more mushy, stinky poop.

For years, I tried getting her to feed raw. Who would have thought it just took a bag of Sundays to convince her. I'm sure she's already placed an order.

I wish I could add a photo to my review.
Thank you, Sundays.

My dog absolutely loves this food

My dog absolutely loves this food. She has never been the kind of dog that would sit and eat her food in one sitting after I put it out without a bunch of doctoring it up on my part. Her vet actually recommended that she needed to put some weight on after a recent illness so I feel really good about giving her high quality food to do this.

I took a star off because until I actually signed up for a subscription I could not really figure out how much this would cost me on a regular basis because I was doing an initial trial that was for only 2 weeks as opposed to a full month. So I had a bit of sticker shock when I figured out how much it would actually cost each month. It is quite a jump from her other food and in this economy I try to be mindful of expenses. I did some research online and by all accounts this is one of the more reasonably priced non-kibble dog foods according to people who've tried the others.

Adopted a 7-year-old…

Adopted a 7-year-old Doberman who had been a stray and spent two months in the animal shelter. Transitioning from the kibble they used to Sundays has been life-changing! Within days her energy increased, she LOVES meal time now, and her poop and coat shows the positive changes from using Sundays.. Yes, it’s pricey, but super convenient to scoop and feed high-quality food. I also like to use a handful for training - highly motivated “treat”. Try the sample order and see the difference yourself!

So far all is going great

So far all is going great! I have a pomeranian that is 10 years young, very picky, and prone to GI upset. So I started Sundays as recommended, and weaned her over 1 month (just to make sure) on just the sample size. (The sample, That is a huge benefit, thank you!)
As others, I was leery and didn't think Bella would eat it. Well I have been surprisingly wrong, she loves it!! I only pray that she will stay happy and healthy and continue to enjoy it.

My dogs LOVE Sundays for Dogs

My dogs LOVE Sundays for Dogs, even the picky eater. They clean their bowl every time. I have tried 4 other major brands of dog food, and this is the best for my dogs. The customer service is fantastic as well. I wanted a custom order of 2 different formulas, so I contacted the company, and they made it happen with ease. I am a happy customer. My dogs are even happier. Feed here with confidence.
