Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with silicone grip paste. This putty is strong and “clingy” enough to be used long term but it is meant to be removable and they state right on a label that it is “removable - for temporary modifications of anatomical grips”. Also you would need to prepare surface in a way that the paste can stay on as smooth surface will not work well and also will be a problem to epoxy based grip putty like KwikWood as well. I also use the same product on my grip and it is working well and staying on for two years now.
