FAKE AGENTS AND SERVICES

The agents refuse to leave private property even after being issued a trespass order. When asked to leave, they lie and continue to refuse. They use stolen personal information found online in attempts to scam you. When you contact the corporate office, they feign ignorance and never follow up on the request to verify the agent regarding the trespass order. Additionally, they lied to the police, claiming they had permission to be there. The police are currently searching for the agent, and charges will be pressed because the agent holds personal information and refused to leave when initially asked.

Great Service

The rates are competitive with other energy companies. Customer service is quick and easy to speak to a representative. I appreciate the patience they have with each phone call.

I signed up with Spark Energy and then…

I signed up with Spark Energy and then 6 months later my bill tripled the gas. For my 6 years here I never had a bill over $65. So I get a bill for 15?.?? And I called Spark right away and told them to take me off their plan. They want to charge me a $100 disconnect fee and I told them I’m not paying. They lied about this company it triple your money. Now they have called me 4x’s last month harassing me. I told them the first time I was paying and to stop calling me, but now they called 3 more times. Now they called me again just last week. I had to threaten them I was turning them to the credit people for harassing calls. This company is pathetic

BEWARD OF SPARK ENERGY!!!

This company is pathetic and they are liars. Didn't even get a bill last month and was charged a late fee. Now this month I got it today 1/3 and it's due 1/5 and they blame the usps. Funny, I get all my OTHER bills on time and my credit rating is well over 800. HMMMMM. LIARS.. You have been warned!

Shady practices to get you locked into a contract

I used EnergyRates.com to sign up with Spark Energy. The EFL that was on the website stated a rate of 10.9 cents/kWH. After signing up the rate changed to 15.4. I contacted them immediately and told them about the issue. They said they would get back to me. This should have been a 5 minute check as to whether they would honor the rate. Called 3 times and no one could tell me over a 3 month period. Basically they strung me along until I was already under contract to tell me that they would not honor the 10.9 cent rate. Very shady dishonest of them. Not sure if it was their fault or EnergyRate.com for the old EFL but it doesn't matter. Spark should have been able to tell me in 5 minutes whether they would honor the rate or not.

Cheaters

I don't even remember meeting anyone from Spark Energy, but I received a notice of early termination fee and they are asking me to pay $100. I remember meeting some who claimed to be from my provider and she never mentioned that she was on behalf of Spark Energy. I should have never spoken to anyone, I will stick to online only.
