Customer support appears to be nonexistent

The bike itself seem to be good. I would give it a 4 stat rating. The support gets a 0 to 1 star. Customer support appears to be nonexistent. I have left several voice mails, not one of them was returned. I have email with a couple issues, no reply back. The bike came damaged, you were going to send out a new back rack, have not see it yet, nor have you replied to my email asking about status. I'm concerned that if something goes wrong and the bike is inoperable that I would be on my own to fix it.

Check your products for quality…

Check your products for quality control. The rack I got the package it came in was not damaged. So that means the rack was sent to me bent or not welded together right in its jig. So the product needs better quality control. As far as my bikes I have 2 and they are great. Luckily I was able to bend the dack to fit my bike.

My Warrior bike arrived with a dented…

My Warrior bike arrived with a dented and chipped frame. I reached out to support a couple of times to ask about my warranty options before riding it, but haven’t heard back. I wasn’t too concerned at first and I just wanted to know what my options were, but the lack of response has been disappointing, especially since I chose Snapcycles partly because I heard their customer support was excellent.

I’m happy to update this review if this issue is resolved.

One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.

I bought a R1 step thru bike in Oct 2024. After getting four flats in one month I reached out to Snapcycle for help. From the beginning, I was responded to with an attitude by a rep.

While actively deducing what may have been wrong with my rear wheel, they accused me of changing the cause and confusing them.

I eventually find out the rim is cutting the inner tubes.

For some reason, they also asked for details on the original inner tube. Why would I still have the same inner tube after having flats multiple times?

They eventually agreed to send me a replacement rear wheel stating "this is the first time we have encountered such a situation"

I had to ask for the shipping number after a week. Once I got it, it wasn't even the right size. I reply letting them know. Then I am sent just a tire.

I was sent the wrong item twice. I bring this up and I am just told this:

We have carefully checked our inventory and currently do not have rims with tires for the R1. We recommend that you try replacing the inner tube and outer tube we sent you to see if the flat tire problem recurs."

It's like the previous emails were never looked at.

I'm being told to use the incorrect items to fix the problem.

I have replaced the inner tube four times. How will using another inner tube ( or outer tube? What?) fix the issue for something mechanical? Even if I wanted to replace it with what they gave me, the inner tube of the smaller wheel is two sizes too small! Where is the logic in any of this?

If the correct item truly isn't available in their own warehouse, why won't they just send one when it becomes available?

I had mentioned multiple times this bike was meant to be my main mode of transportation. I have continued to reach out just to be ignored with no solution. On their website they state their bike is covered by the warranty for two years. Rims are covered yet they have chosen to barely assist me and ignore me. Because it involves actually doing their job? I am still reaching out with no help. I have had this issue for months now.

Do not buy from this dropship company they will take your money and gaslight you for asking for what they claim to provide.

What a shame

I received the bike with a defective tire. When I finally got in touch with the company over a week later, they couldn't provide one for me and required pictures. Now, an additional week later, the tire is flat. Guess I have to buy a tire too.

Awesome bike

Awesome bike. Rides great on pavement roads have not tried in the mountains yet. The only thing for me was the seat was not big enough. So I'm replacing with a larger one which is no problem just my liking on a bike. Customer service is A***** plus questions answered within hour via email. Thank you

My Snapcycle R1 Pro Step Thru e-bike…

My Snapcycle R1 Pro Step Thru e-bike overall is amazing! For an e-bike with fat tires it rides very smoothly on the sidewalk and roads. I haven’t tried the beach yet. It is a very powerful e-bike, I did get it up to 20mph. After some adjustments we got the brakes on the front working. I got the purple color which is so beautiful. My husband said couldn’t you get another color. I laughed our daughter said get what you want. So I did!
Customer service regarding the e-bike itself was also amazing. We had a few minor issues with assembling the e-bike and customer service helped us out in a timely manner.
My only negative comment is I literally just got my e-bike and they had a promotion for a free leather vintage bag. Also my birthday was in a few days and let’s just say it, paid a decent amount for the e-bike. I had emailed them regarding if there was a possibility of getting the bag…No Response. Oh well, it would have been a nice birthday present for me.

The R1 Pro ST is an all round great ebike.

The R1 Pro ST is an all round great bike for the pricepoint with plenty of instant assist power when needed. The integrated display and tail lights add miles to this bike's stylishness. The display could use an odometer/ trip meter and I'm having issues getting the app to link to the ebike via BT. There's no rear shock absorption so the bum is a bit sore after a long ride, so I'll likely switch out the stock seat. But other than that, some brake squealing and minor chain noise, I love this bike! I may just get a second one to share in the fun. I'm still waiting to hear back from Snapcycle about purchasing a second battery to increase range.

Like the bike hate the customer…

Like the bike hate the customer service. I have less than 100 miles on my bike and don't use it off-road or rag on it but noticed the tire separating from the bead while washing it recently. Emailed them and they said not covered by warranty. I explained the tire has no visible wear and appears to be a defect and can they help me with the tire manufacturer and if not how do I contact them. Their response

"Snapcycle CustomerCare (Snapcycle)
Oct 30, 2024, 12:39 PDT

Look for the name of the tire manufactures on the sidewall of the tire. Do a search on Google to get the customer service contact information for that specific tire manufacturer."

Gee thanks Snapcycle. I purchased a bike from you as it's a local company to me here in SoCal that appeared to provide great customer support but the new bike I need to buy for my wife will not be your brand and I will never ever do business with you again and will scratch the branding off my bike so you don't even get the free advertising when I ride my bike. Should be called "Jokecycle"
