There's a very simple reason for this, but hardly anyone knows it. Its this, all tights are the same width. The only difference between different sizes of tights is the length of the legs. Until now.

Company has gone downhill

Looks like I bought from Snag tights at the wrong time. I've heard such good things from friends in the past, but after looking at these reviews it appears things have really gone downhill with the company.

I, like many others, I'm sure, saw the big offer for chub rub shorts on social media. At the time, I was set to head on holiday in a couple weeks, so I ordered in what I thought was plenty of time, especially as I paid extra for the quicker postage.

I noticed straight away that they only gave the delivery time but no dispatch time details (you also can't track the order unless you download an unknown app which I didn't want to do)

After several days of hearing nothing about my order, I politely reached out on social media & just asked what the current general dispatch time was - nothing specific to my order, though I did mention I was hoping to get them before my holiday. They came back to me & asked for my order details & my holiday dates in a way that led me to believe they would really try to see what they could do to help.

I got a message back the next day that said it hadn't even been picked yet & they had unusually large volumes of orders which had caused delays. A simple message on the website to notify people making purchases would have been really helpful, but it also begs the question why they're doing big offers if they logistically can't fulfil them in a timely manner.

I then got another message, unprompted, saying they had put my order on hold incase I wanted to cancel. This just screamed that they were too busy & I had given them an excuse to lessen the load. (I also got a message addressed to someone else, which is worrying as I had provided personal details for the order we were discussing)

I immediately told them not to hold my order as I clearly wanted it as quickly as possible. They then didn't reply for several days (which also felt intentional) leaving my order on hold with no way of contacting them.

When it finally got dispatched (6 days later) it still didn't arrive for several days - I paid for the 2-3 day postage. (Note, they did not arrive in time for my holiday, in fact they arrived on the day I returned!!)

Now, with the order in hand, the shorts themselves are a let down - firstly there's no returns which wasn't made clear. Apparently they're classed as intimate items - but I've never heard of issues returning shorts anywhere else before?

I bought the size they recommended & they are definitely on the snug size, they're way more transparent than shown on the website too & one pair actually snagged when I tried them on (I don't have long nails or wear jewellery!) They're really rough to wear, not smooth/silky at all. Yes, you may not get chub rub from sweat wearing these (though, actually, they don't feel that breathable either) but you'll definitely get friction burn on a hot day. From what I've read in the reviews, this quality isn't a suprise!

I'm going to try & contact them for a postage refund & for the pair that snagged! Though I don't hold out much hope.

Long wait times

Same as other people my order is in limbo and Snag will not even discuss if they ever arrive it will be too late for my holiday, ordered in plenty of time too, postage expensive and have now been waiting two weeks and snag have said I must be patient and wait longer - yet have not updated their delivery times on line! Yes I am happy to be patient if a website site is accurate and if customer service offers to help - first order with snag and not a great first impression

Took a chance and ordered 5 pairs of…

Took a chance and ordered 5 pairs of anti chafe shorts, after years of seeing ads and influencers rave about them I was truly influenced. Had my order about 2 months and have worn 2 pairs and both have gone in the bin.
Initial thoughts a few loose threads but overall looks good.
Put first pair on and worse for a city break, within a couple hours they were rolling up. I carried on for whole weekend and brought them home. Washed as per instructions and discovered loose threads along the bottom. Tried to wear again and within a couple hours were rolling so threw in the bin.
Tried second pair, was a lot better. Got a full day wear out of it no issues, thought snag had been redeemed. So washed ready for second use and again more loose threads and rolled up within 2 hours, so went straight in the bin. Cant even be bothered to try the remaining pairs as it’s just so far been a disappointment. Waste of money.

I have been using Snag for years and…

I have been using Snag for years and have always given 5 star reviews and sung praises until now.

I ordered the 3 for 2 offer of the chub rub shorts and, initially had had an issue with the basket and the size reset. At the same time, I'm presuming the quantity had also changed in the basket and I didn't notice. Someone from customer service kindly corrected the size for me, but I was unaware I hadn't changed back the quantity (I did, in my original email detail how many of that colour needed changing and would have appreciated it being flagged to me at that point).

Anyway, two pairs arrived rather than three. I recognised the error and emailed to ask if they could send the 'free' pair out to me (I offered to cover any extra postage). They said this wasn't possible but I could order another three pairs on top if I wanted. I would have only ordered one if I wasn't doing the 3 for 2 offer!

I am so disappointed with the level of service I received this time round. As a loyal customer I expected more. It wouldn't have cost anything to send the free pair out and keep a customer happy!

BEWARE OF DISPATCH TIMES

BEWARE OF DISPATCH TIMES.

I placed an order and it took exactly a week to be dispatched. I could forgive this if delivery was free - but it isn’t, it was over £5 for their STANDARD (2-3 days) delivery. Yes, it is clear on the website of estimated delivery times AFTER dispatch, but there is no mention of how long it takes them to actually process and send orders.

I then saw a Facebook advertisement of them offering a £1 delivery deal, when they hadn’t even sent the orders orders made by people that had paid what I would consider to be a high price for delivery.

Snag - if you are experiencing delays in dispatch you should make this known either on your website or by communicating with your customers. I fully understand delays or busy periods happen, but it is such a let down to be left in the dark about it. And based on similar reviews this seems to be a recurring issue.

It has made a poor impression for a first time customer and I probably won’t make any future purchases based solely on the unreliable/overpriced delivery service.

2 stars because the products purchased seem to be of okay quality and a decent size.

I can't abide their advertisements

I can't abide their advertisements. The models they choose to use are not showing the tights well enough. I thought they'd be great but they were awful. Their attempts to include all in their advertisements have put me off ever buying from them again. Not everyone wants to see that.

Order not dispatched after a week and no communication

I’ve ordered from Snag a few years ago and was really pleased with the fast delivery and great quality of the items. However, I placed a new order a week ago and it still hasn’t even been dispatched. This order was placed specifically for an upcoming event, and it’s now unlikely to arrive in time. I’ve sent emails regarding this but haven’t received any response or updates. If I had known they would take this long to arrive, I would have ordered from elsewhere. Other reviews seem to suggest others are having the same problem.

I placed an order on the 24th and I’m still waiting for it to be dispatched

I placed an order on the 24th and it still has not been dispatched. It’s getting incredibly frustrating as I am in dire need of my items but It honestly feels like they will never be dispatched. I ordered a couple of months ago and my order arrived in 9/10 days which just isn’t good enough in this day and age, I was kind of hoping by now things would improve but unfortunately not. There’s no emails to update you on the delay and nothing on their website explaining they are taking a very long time to dispatch right now.

If I had the choice and could fit into high street tights & chub rub shorts then I wouldn’t be ordering from here anymore because of how long it takes to receive items and the lack of communication.

Beware - dispatch issues causing delays!

Such a shame that this company appears to have gone into decline since I last used them, as to be fair their products have always been good quality.
I placed an order last Thursday (26th June) and paid for the 2-3 day delivery. Sadly they don’t appear to have even picked the order to date (Tuesday 1 July) so I’m not holding out hope of receiving the items before the event they’re needed for.
There is quite obviously a delay in dispatching orders.
Maybe, to manage customers expectations you could pop a little message on the website to advise if you’re experiencing stock/supply/despatch issues so that an informed choice can be made before people place an order.
Or maybe send an email to customers to advise when they can expect their orders dispatched!
Really disappointing to see my email go unanswered, but appears to be in keeping with the poor customer service that others have also highlighted.

Chub rub shorts were not what I was expecting.

Chub rub shorts were not what I was expecting..I thought they would replace underwear. They are effectively cut down tights. I bought black and they are translucent. I bought the shorter pair but they come up to my armpits. I've not yet worn on a hot day but I'm struggling to understand how they'd help with so much excess material over my torso and the need to wear underwear also. I've found them uncomfortable to wear, they dig into my upper torso. I'm size 14, wearing M

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Placed an order as a present for my wife on June 17 for a trip we were going on, leaving June 30. Delivery date was given as five days after order.
Package didn’t leave their warehouse for six days, took two days to get to the courier company who are now saying it’s delayed and have no estimated delivery date.
Snag now giving estimated arrival as July 2 - the day we return from our trip.
Quite useless and have requested refund - including £4.99 delivery fee.
BTW, Amazon delivered similar product the next day with no delivery fee.
Don’t use Snag unless you don’t mind waiting weeks for your order to be fulfilled.

Very poor service…

Ordered snag tights on 4th June and they never arrived. Sent an email to chase the order and never received a response. Sent a 2nd email to chase and to request a refund due to the missing order and due to poor customer service and I still haven't received a response. Very poor.

Reddit comes good!

Snag tights kept coming up as a promoted post on Reddit, so I showed it to my wife who had a look through the site, found a few items she liked and asked for them. I placed the order, 8 days later it arrives (however I placed the order on a Sunday, and am counting the following weekend in those 8 days). Everything was well packed, and all individually too, which was nice. The quality is great and my wife loves it, suppose that is the highest praise I can give. Would definitely recommend, and will more than likely be ordering her more stuff soon.

Very disappointed in this brand

Very disappointed in this brand. Everyone raves about them so I know I'm in the minority but the childrens tights were way smaller than advertised (and ladder just like any others) and the famous chub rubs shorts had loose threads and just roll up. Complete waste of money for me.

Chub Rub Shorts not what you think they are

I bought the chub rub shorts. What I received wasn't what I was expecting or looking for at all. I was looking for "bike short" type underwear similar to the jockeys that I have to wear under dresses in the summer. The Snag Chub Rub shorts are basically nylons/tights cut off at the mid-thigh. They are way too sheer to wear as underwear by themselves under a dress and are not shorts either. Not really the type of material that I was looking for either.

Quality and customer service going downhill

I have been a customer of this brand for 6 years and I am very disappointed in the quality of the tights and the customer service.

Placed an order on the 27th May with no communication that there was a delay in my order. One item was dispatched and it took them till the 4th June to inform me that the second item I had sold out and I wouldn't be receiving it. I was given 3 options " a replacement, a voucher code for your next purchase, or a refund for this pair" . I asked for a voucher code for the amount of the tights plus express shipping cost in order to rectify the issue. I am yet to here from snag and they have failed to respond to further emails.
