Rebranded and better!

Used to be SnackSurprise and it was great then late last year was really awful. All that being said since it’s been rebranded it’s been brilliant. Can’t fault them. Back to the old, great snack surprise we knew a loved. Wish you all the best and hope it can stay this way!

Replacment never received

SnackSurprise, now operating as SnackVerse.

Due to delays with shipping, I contacted customer support to cancel my subscription and upcoming orders. They assured me that my next parcel would arrive shortly. Though it was delayed by some weeks, it did arrive. Unfortunately, the courier (Hermes/Evri) recklessly threw the cardboard box over my fence, breaking plant pots along with the parcel. The content was left open to the elements for a day.
After contacting Snackverse I was told I'd receive a replacement, I have yet to receive a replacement. Evri were quicker to compensate me for damaged!

Would not recommend.

Has so much potential

I subscribed to this in September after seeing the product on a ‘Jolly’ episode on YouTube.

The boxes are very generous for the price and really do have a great variety and selection of products. I very much enjoyed opening them and seeing so many things to try.

Unfortunately, during the 5 months that I have subscribed to SnackSurprise/Snackverse, I have had to chase 3 of the 4 boxes that I received (with November’s being refunded while they changed branding). I did receive responses from them each time to be fair, but I’m not willing to pay for a product that I then have to chase for.

I would use them again as I really did like the product but I’ve cancelled my subscription until I see reviews improve on here regarding boxes arriving in a timely manner without customers having to nag for them.

Missing box, no customer service

I didn't receive the December box, it is still with the courier (Evri). Emailed Snackverse twice in early January, they said they were sending a replacement. Never got it, and now the website is down and they are not answering emails.
After reading other reviews, I'm glad they didn't take another payment. Assume I have lost 1 month's subscription money

Totally agree with all the others

Totally agree with all the others, I kept getting emails saying update your payment details kept updating them and now just got message saying to snack verse boxes have been refunded.
Since name change not received any boxes , before that was good and I enjoyed receiving my boxes

Don't bother

The boxes are good (when you actually get all your items) but the customer service is absolutely shocking. They ignore messages about missing items and boxes that haven't arrived. It's nearly impossible to cancel it tooks months of emails, messaging on social media and commenting on posts and ads before someone finally got back to me. Look at the comments under their ads and you'll see my experience isn't unusual.

New review: Ignore my previous one, too unreliable

Unfortunately have to add to my previous positive review. Like other reviewers I was hounded for my payment details for the January box and went direct to the website and paid. Regardless of this, I have not received the box and it is now February.
Like others I have had boxes missing items, delayed and never sent. Will have to bow out now, would make no sense to carry on and expect anything different after the last 2 years of poor customer experience. Shame as the concept was very good.

I had this subscription for 2 years…

I had this subscription for 2 years with no problems. As others have said I started getting emails saying they needed updated card info. I did not use the email link, I went directly to their site and updated. I continued getting emails saying they needed updated payment info and that they were changing their name and then that I needed to create a new account. Being hounded in emails is an understatement. Just tried accessing their website to officially cancel and the website is not under maintenance. They are either a poor company or they've been hacked. Either way, I will no longer use or recommend this company.

Avoid!!!!!!!

I am having similar experiences to those before me. I had a constant spam of text and email asking me to confirm my details (something I had never had to do during the TWO YEARS of my subscription), so I deemed it spam and left it. Once they didn’t stop I decided to look myself, and my card details had been mysteriously removed. I was not going to re-put them. When I contacted the company I was told I’d have to take out a new subscription to get advice and to pay for January’s box?!!! How does this even make logical sense to open a new subscription to pay for January’s box and to cancel it all?!!

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!

I will cancel the direct debit with my bank and go to the local multicultural store to get some snacks for half the price.

Disgusted and appalled.

DONT USE THEM

If your trying to cancel your subscription they make it as hard as possible plus if you've not renewed they spam you with phone calls, text, and email starting at 7 in the morning. Overall terrible experience do not use

How to Cancel Your Subscription

I came on here to write a review the other day and couldn't get my log in to work then, but I actually have an update now anyway. The tl:dr is that: I wish I could give better after loving my subscription previously. I live in Ireland and had previously used them for subscriptions as presents for friends in the UK. After a while they sent me a discount 3 boxes with 30% off - we thought it sounded fun and gave it ago ourselves. But since the initial brilliant boxes (despite slow deliveries) the company has "changed names" to SnackVerse. Oh what a mistake that was. What a nightmare it has been having money taken for months on end and then receiving nothing in return. I had tried to contact them since September via email asking what was going on. Nada in return. I finally decided enough was enough; took action and went directly to my bank to ensure any future payments could be blocked. I don't have a credit card but I highly recommend you use one when dealing with subscription boxes/companies in future! It's a lot easier to protect your money. Immediately after doing this I received multiple emails asking me to 'reactivate my payment asap!'. I was absolutely disgusted that they would have so many automatic emails set for this (no joke, I've got 13 emails since cancellation of payment only a couple of days ago). I sent one final email as a plea to just simply not do this to other customers and to be more transparent with their current customer base. I have actually since got 2 refunds October and December (November was meant to be also they said in an email that went out, I believe not everyone got that back), but still no proper reply to any of my emails - and yet more asking me to reactivate payment immediately. I finally got onto their website today (protected by my VPN as I was worried about clicking the link), and was able to cancel the subscription. You have to click through multiple windows/questions to cancel, of course, we should expect nothing less at this point. For all those not being able to find you can access their website via: https://snackverse. com/ and you should be able to log into your original Snack Surprise account to cancel your subscriptions properly. If you've forgotten your password but definitely have an email on the website you will be able to do the 'forgotten password' and get the email sent (I was able to do this in under 3 mins).

What a real shame as we honestly loved the boxes before and even made evenings out of them with films/media from the countries they were from. C'est la vie! All I can advise is do not take out a subscription!

Bit of a nightmare company

Bit of a nightmare company, started with boxes getting later and later until over a month in arrears, eventually caught up no get recurring issues saying start new subscription due to payment issues every month, had enough and cancelling now, was for my kid so am disappointed.

company change shouts scam

I wouldn't even give them 1 star. This company use to be called snack suprise which didn't seem too bad so I joined subscription. although the long delivery times it. wasn't too bad considering! then the company changed to snack verse. since then I've had 1 subscription box delivery. they took the money delivery was quick.
Then I start getting emails to verify my details and input them again the email was shouting scam eith the way it had been displayed so I informed it and thought I'll go directly to their site and do it rather than click a link. could I find a website? No, shouts more scam at me. So I email asking for an address for website not a link to click. instead I just get a weird poorly written email with a link so I ignore it again then every day I get an standard email asking to update my details via a link, no other communication. I have decide to leave as it shouts scam now, lack of communication from a person and poorly written standard email my kids can do better, and they clearly don't listen to customers!

Help!! Need to contact snackverse

I’ve been with snack surprise for over a year. The first box took a long time to come out as you don’t receive it untiI the end of the month. But after that it was fine and have enjoyed it since. We had an issue when it changed need, but since then fine. I need to cancel the subscription and cannot find to they’re contact info .
Is there anyone who has the new contact details I would be grateful. Thanks

Slightly turbulent

I have had a similar experience to others - though have found their customer service to be good in the end.

I signed up on a deal for a recurring monthly box. The first one arrived no problem and was great.

Then I had money taken and refunded for the second box - unfortunately there was no communication of this until a while after the fact which is a shame - but they did send out an email explaining about the new company name (snackverse) and why there had been issues and how they were solving them.

I was then over-charged for the third box, but after writing to them through their website they refunded me the difference very quickly.

Whilst there have been issues - their customer service has been good when trying to resolve these.
