Rip off

Rip off. The TV is designed to lock you into subscription. Only apps that you can view are those Sky choses. Ryan Air of tv services, eventually there will be a subscription for turning TV on. Ultra HD does not work as wifi receiver not up to fast connection needed. Sound quality not there. Avoid

AWFUL

This is just awful constant voice sync lag. Regular internet connection problems when no internet problems and worst sky service will not accept it’s a problem. Please do not invest in this it is not worth the investment

Sky glass television Sky is actually…

Sky glass television Sky is actually contriveining the trades description act by falsely stated the built in dounbar is dolby atmos this isn't correct it is indeed dolby phantom stereo if it was dolby atmos the soundbar would be at the top of the television in an ark position so to bounce the atmos stereo off the ceiling which would project the sound off the rear cortex of the brain to give a wrap around affect so Sky is ripping off customers with lies

Don't buy one.

Sky glass is useless.
Changed to another provider and this thing does not work as a normal TV.
It disconnects from the remote constantly and takes days to reconnect it. Currently won't connect at all.
It's just a white elephant.
The worst thing is, I'm not even finished paying for it and I'm just going to have to throw it in the shed!
Don't buy one. The. Functionality is poor when you have a sky contract. It's zero when you don't!

Great picture on Sky. BUT.....

Brilliant picture when on Sky contract.
Had many problems with loss of picture/ sound/ both.
Reset on a regular basis.
Didn't want a dish fitted as I was planning to sell up is why I went with Sky Glass.
Better than Virgin media TV.

Soon as the sky contract ran out, I cancelled it and went to Now entertainment. £20 odd cheaper a month.
Can't download apps to sky glass, so using a firestick for Now.
Basically have a really dumb TV without Sky.

But happy paying a £10 for the sky channels i want and £9 for Netflix (sharing the account so £4.50!)instead of £32

Very unlikely to go back to Sky direct.
Would never buy a sky glass TV again.
If the buy was today, I'd get a smart TV and sky streaming puck.
Far better option

Sky glass tv

Sky glass tv, is not of quality or fit for purpose. If you haven't got one yet, DON'T!!!!

Screen freezes, makes aloud knocking noise, but Sky state it's not a known fault. Lies!

Went faulty within 1st 2 weeks, finally got an advisor to help, but by then it was day 32 and they will only replace. Refuse to cancel contract for a manufacturing fault! Feel so let down, been a customer for 15 years. Every advisor on Sunday 27th April never read notes, I had to explain everything again over and over, on phone for 90 minutes. Result-"nothing we can do other than replace tv". Disgraceful!!!!

Glass awful

Shocking performance and excuse after excuse why it doesn’t work and blaming alternative network providers! Strange because Sky Broadband is shit any way! Thank you for stealing £4k from us you robbing guys

Absolute Dog Shit

Sky glass is absolutely shite!
You cannot record anything in TV anymore, instead you save something to your playlist and then if it's not included in your package you must buy it instead of the original way of just recording direct off the TV.

It's constantly glitchy, not responding, not loading the TV channels, not loading streaming apps. Picture quality is pretty crap too.

Can not wait to be out of contract and get rid of this forever and probably never use sky again. If it continues to disappoint I'll probably just pay the early get out because it really is that bad

Honestly the worst thing I ever…

Honestly the worst thing I ever purchased. To start it was great, a chunky tv so not the most attractive but good sound and picture. More recently it's Been a nightmare. Turns itself off randomly, constantly have the swirling circle when trying to get on a channel or app so won't play anything and (this one is very random) plays married at first sight Australia in the background of other programmes. In fact the tv was off the other day, red standby light on and still mafs was playing. What is that even about!? 3 times I've been promised call backs that have not been received to resolve the problems. Finally yesterday I was promised a replacement tv (and as a good will gesture sky cinema for free as long as i tie in for another 24 months contract 🤣....er no thanks). Sadly sky tie you into long contracts so I'm stuck but I'd advise others not to bother with glass.

Sky Streaming / Glass is rubbish

Sky Streaming / Glass is rubbish. We keep losing the sound. Then the signal often goes down a lot.
It can take 15-20 mins to reset everything.
Not worth a penny let alone what they charge. Don’t do it.

Sky Glass nightmare

We have had Sky Glass for a number of years and have been a Sky customer for over 15 years, I can honestly say the Sky Glass product is the worst thing we have ever used. Sky have not been able to sort out the issues we are having with the Sky Glass system freezing and just turning itself off, I can guarantee that 1 out of every 2 programs we watch will stop and turn off at least once, I have just tried to watch a live football match and in the 90 minutes it shut down 4 times, when it does reboot and come back on, you have missed 5 minutes. We have had endless phone calls with Sky, where we have done everything from software updates, unplugging our booster pods because apparently this is an issue, didn't work, to moving our router as apparently the fact that a plastic plant pot interferes with the signal, this didn't work either. Our download speeds are well over 350mbps and they have said we only need 30mbps to run Sky glass. Still waiting to have this sorted. I have even considered going back to Sky Q but they need to compensate me for paying for a product that just doesn't work. I would not recommend anyone to get this as it is just a nightmare.

I purchased a sky glass tv about a year…

I purchased a sky glass tv about a year ago having problems with sound picture quality not great remote stopped working could not get into it to change battery.
Tv replaced still similar problems. Customer services informed me I shouldn’t have been sold tv due to my broadband speed I am on sky super fast speed 36mb tv uses 25 to 30 mb I have 2 phones and 2 I pads speeds I have do not support tv and Apple products I have. Asked to cancel tv finance agreement still waiting on answer? Do not buy this product.

ADS ADS and more ads. Even after paying for no ads.

Absolutely awful. Despite paying for no ads there’s ads on every Chanel. 5 minutes of viewing and 2 minutes of adverts. And I’ve paid for no ads.
Awful absolutely awful. Really difficult to navigate and quite honestly a waste of money for us as I have a Netflix account anyway. I had to go upstairs yesterday to watch drama tv channel on my review tv. The adverts really ruin the experience.

Sky Glass TV is RUBBISH!!

Sky Glass TV is RUBBISH!!! Oh, It Absolutely IS.
I have just cancelled my Sky Glass subscription. Happily, It is still within the cooling off Period. I finally gave up after talking to Sky Technical support who were utterly useless and kept referring me to my Broadband supplier when I know that there is Zero Problem with my Broadband. I was repeatedly unable to watch the content that I wanted to watch. The system would present the message 'Please wait while your program loads' then after perhaps 30 seconds say : There is a technical fault on this channel - Please try later. so... Later I would reset/reboot and try again only to find the same problem regardless of the content/channel that I was trying to watch. Hence I have binned it - It's Absolute Nonsense !
Please try later ?! Really ! What kind of advice is that when you are paying for a subscription service ! Should I only be watching what I want to watch when it suits Sky TV ? I don't think so !
Here is my summary of my Sky Glass Experience
Start-Rant/Flame ON
Order Process - Complex - Difficult to understand and Misleading Marketing Messages - The Price advertised (for Sky Glass) is not the price you will pay once subscription charges are added.
Delivery - Prompt
Installation - Primitive - Don't expect the Monkeys who deliver the TV to do anything other than unbox the set, Bolt the set to the stand and plug it into the mains - You're on your own for the rest
Sky Glass/stream Content - Some interesting programs but the persistent adverts and subscription prompts seriously detract from the experience
Consumer experience -
Frequent 'Technical fault - Please try later' too often prevent you from actually enjoying the content
Technical support - Absolute Rubbish. Arrogant, Unhelpful and unable to do anything useful other than refer you to your Broadband service provider (without offering any evidence nor rhyme nor reason for doing so (weak/limp reasoning like "Oh maybe you have too many devices using your wifi" Ignoring the fact that the TV is hard-wired to the router !
Customer Loyalty team (That's where who you talk to when you want to cancel your subscription - They were Excellent. Efficient, Sympathetic and supportive, being very candid about the extremely POOR technical support that Sky are capable of delivering.

WE TAKEN OUT SKY GLASS 65 INCH IN BLUE AT THE END AUGUST 24 AND APPROX ARRVIED BEIGNG OF SEPTEMBER 2024, WE NOTICED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH FROM GETGO WITH THE SOUND AND CALLING EE TO SEE IF IT A BROBAND ISSUES ALSO. ON AROUND 3 NOVEMBER 2024 I CALLED UP SKY GLASS PROITY TEAM WHICH IS THE CEO LEVEL ABOUT OUTSTANDING ISSUES WITH THE SKY GLASS. IN RESPECT OF SOUND, THEY DID CHECKS TO SEE IF THEY CAN SORT IT OUT. THEY REORDERD ME A REPLACEMENT TV 65 INCH IN BLUE BUT THEY NEVER TOLD ME ITS GOING TO ME REUSED ONE. WHEN THE NEW REPLACEMNT CAME ON 12 NOVEMBER 2024 STARTTED TO HAVE MAJORI ISSUES WITH THE NEW TV FIRST OF ALL IT CAME ACROSS HAS THE INTERNET THIS WASNT THE CASE AT ALL THEN PHONED SKY PROTY TEAM. THE CALL WAS FOR OVER 1 AND HALF TO SKY SPEAKING TO AGENT CALLED JOHN FROM STOCKPORT CONTRACT CENTRE VERY UNSPORTIVE TO ME AGRUEING ME OVER THE ISSUES. AFTER GETTING THE SKY GLASS WORKING, I THEN REQUESTED A RAISE A FORMAL COMPLAINT IN RESCPECT OF THE CREDIT AGREMMENT AND OUTSTADNING ISSUES WITH SKY AND BEING NOT TOLD CORRECT INFORMATION OVER THE REUSED TV.
TUESDAY 12 November Wednesday 13TH November Thursday 14TH November FRIDAY 15TH November AND Saturday 16th November Sunday 17th November 2024 I CONTRACTED SKY KEEPED GETTING DIFFERENT STOIRES ONCE AGAIN LACK OF HELP AND SUPPORT FROM SKY TV AT CEO LEVEL OFFICE.

SKY OFFERED ME £25.00 FOR THE POOR SERVICE FIRST I ACCEPT NOW I SAID NO AFTER YESTERDAY 16TH November 2024 WHEN I REQUESTED MORE THAN THREE TIME FOR SOMEONE TOO CALL ME BACK FROM THE CREDIT AGREEMENT TEAM. I WAS TOLD ON 16TH November 2024 I CALLED PUT IN FOR 21 November 2024 THIS NEVER HAPPENED OR IS GOING TO HAPPEN AFTER SKY SENT ME A EMAIL IN RESPECT OF CREDIT AGREEMENT.
LONG CALLS WITH SKY PRIOTY TEAM INCLUDING PHONING BEING PUT DOWN ON ME.
SKY DID CONFIM ON RECORDING CALL TODAY BEING 17TH November 2024 THEY DON’T DO REUSED TV ANYMORE.

THE CREDIT AGREEMENT COMPLAINTS TEAM HAVE GIVEN ME A EMAILS FORM CISA IN RESPECT OF POOR JOUNRY OVER CREDIT AGREEMENT COMPLAINT.

SKY OFFERED ME FURTHERMORE £10.00 TODAY FOR THE MISSLEADING ME NOT CALLING ME BACK BUT SENDING A EMAIL INSTEAD I SAID NO.

SKY ON 16TH November 2024 TOLD ME THEY NOT GOING TO INVESGATION MY COMPLAINT THEY DON’T NEED TO LISTEN TO PHONE CALL THEY DON’T NEED TO UPHOLD A COMPLAINT TOO FIND THIS REALLY WORRYING

I HAVE BEEN TREATED UNFAIRLY AND BEEN GIVEN A LACK OF RESPECT THEY MESSED ME AROUND MADE ME ILL AT TIMES THIS WEEK PLUS DON’T BELIVE WHAT THEY SAY.

I WAS PROMISED TWO PHONE CALLS ON TUESDAY ONE FOR FRIDAY 17TH November TO CHECK THE TV FINE THIS NEVER HAPPENED AND THEN I REQUESTED A MANAGER CALL BACK THIS NEVER HAPPENED TOO.

SKY CANT TELL THE TURTH AT ALL LIED TOO ME HAS CUSTOMER AND THE WAY I BEEN TREATED IS REALLY SHOCKING
