Horrible experience in Westfield Mall

Horrible experience in Westfield Mall, San Francisco. Pushy salesman lured me into the shop right after I entered the mall by offering a sample and saying 'wait I'll just get you the better one... take a seat here'. He caught me off-guard so I followed him in and he proceeded to put first a serum, then an eye cream and then a load of other products on my face. I didn't realise how expensive the products were until he tried to offer me a 'great deal'. The price was 10 times more than I'd normally spend on a familiar brand and I had never even heard of Truffiore! The guy (Liam) was patronising and even asked if I brushed my teeth and showered every day (to prove the point that skincare requires a routine...); cleverly this changed the dynamic to him (somehow!) having the authority to tell me what to buy, and me believing him. He said the products had had shown an immediate improvement in my skin and that that doesn't always happen. He tried to persuade me to 'just buy one thing to start with' and then progressed to 'if you buy X i'll give you these two free. To which his colleague exclaimed 'You're offering her all 3?! Wow! He must really like you!'. I could tell it was just a sales pitch and repeatedly tried to leave. I felt incredibly uncomfortable - it was obvious to him too as I was blushing profusely! He even calculated the price per month, assuming the products would last 2 years, which made the price appear more reasonable, but I doubt they'd last that long and think of the bacteria that would build up in those pots over 2 years! Embarrassingly, I was too worried about being rude and in the end just paid to get him to leave me alone and let me leave! This was exactly what he wanted - as soon as the money changed hands he started checking his phone and ignored me when I asked a question. Awful service and so manipulative. I only realised later that there was a no returns policy and still feel terrible about the entire experience a week later.
