I wish credit could be applied if there was a store card on file for the vendors on ShopSmarter. Not all times it is convenient to order online. I may be out and about and think of something last minute and I would have missed out on earning potential.

I was not notified of the monthly fee before it charged my account a few days reminder would have been helpful. I will never use this service again with how unhelpful everything was

I never subscribed to shop smarter.com…

I never subscribed to shop smarter.com and got charge monthly fee of 16 since July 2024. I didn't catch this charge until recently. When I called shopsmarter.com, I was told I got charged due to shopping on Macys. I never received any communication from shopsmarter.com or additional discount from Macys. I feel this is a stealing. They rejected to refund me for the money.

Great customer service

Update to four stars because of the extremely prompt response I got from customer service addressing this issue.
Altho I'm still not certain why it happens,
I hope to have a continued positive experience.

I only get about half of my payments and for $16 a month it's not really worth the extra effort of making sure I go through the shop smarter web site

a way to improve this procees for shoppers

I have to remember to go to the Shop Smarter website before I place the order. And, some stores don't honor it unless they ship it to you. It would be better if we could get the credit JUST by shopping at certain stores REGARDLESS if we purchase online, or in person!!!! Hope the price doesn't continue to increase!!!!!

I had no knowledge that I was signing…

I had no knowledge that I was signing up for a subscription. I never received the cash back I was promised and was actually charged double. I tried to login a couple days later and it kept telling me my login was incorrect, even tho i was using that exact login two days ago. When I went to reset my password I never received an email to reset it. I then go and try to use my card at the store and it has been blocked for multiple charges from shapsmarter. I am disappointed because venmo was the one to suggest this and it turned out to be a scam. I hope the review helps others not make the mistake of signing up in the first place.

Be aware of this company they have poor customer service they will take your money not ship your item when you call them after a month later the representative will tell you it's not her responsibility whether you get the item or not it's the third parties responsibility do not shop here it's a scam

Actually, I like this program, received 10% back on bought merchandise is really awesome. I gave it 4 star because I requested a replacement check since January 2025 with several phone calls & email follow- up, but until now, this issue still pending.
