Great product, long lead time and poor service…

The above rating is based on lead time and customer service only. The product itself is very good, and my daughter is really happy with how they have turned out. I would happily recommend the product, with the below caveat.

The lead time was very slow. Ordered on the 19th May, and did not receive until 6th June. The website clearly states a 5-7 day lead time on designs being completed. I had one specific question on the design, which was not answered, only the image being reshared, which was not conclusive due to image resolution. A simple yes/no answer was all that was required to manage expectations, but not received.

When the order was received it was, and remains, incomplete. the shin sleeves that I had paid for in addition to the pads, were not delivered. I have raised this issue however I am yet to receive a response to resolve.

Pauline, we made the Man United home standard shin pads exactly as the design appears on the website. Because you did not like our 'street style' branding with the uneven black edges at the bottom of the pads (clearly shown on all pics on the website) you wanted a refund. As it was not our fault and certainly not a printing error - as a gooodwill gesture I offered you some free shin straps which you said ok to. I am so glad I have not sent them yet because you then give us a one star review for your error in not spotting this on the pics and not our error... Incredible!! And I will not be sending them out to you either.

Order sent two weeks late

Order sent two weeks late. No reasonable explanation or apology. I requested a refund as it was sent to the address I was previously at. I was palmed off, so now I have to travel very far to go and retrieve it.

Long delivery time and disfigured badge

Long delivery time. Picked the Chelsea shin pad set and while the personalisation happened the Chelsea badge was warped and disfigured. Got a number of Shin Padz before from here so a shame to see the standards decrease both in delivery time and the standard of the finished product.

Order times are always up to 2 weeks during busy periods to process and make the orders this is clear on the webiste. Pro Shinpads printed badly

Purchased the Pro shinpads over christmas. Quick delivery and the images printed on the shinpads is very good. Problem being was the lettering that had been printed was coming away from
the shinpad. The shinpad carry case Zip was also broken. I emailed customer service and had a response quickly apologising and said they would get the shinpad reprinted as well as a new case. it’s not been well over a month and nothing.

Shinpad sleeve

Purchased the shinpad sleeves for my 12 year old son, he loves them, we have tried other sock/sleeve type shinpads and these are by far the best we have come across, well made and my son said how comfortable they were to wear.
Also a very quick turnaround on delivery

Fantastic Service

I contacted Shinz less than 1 week before Christmas after receiving a recommendation from a friend. After sending in my order along with the images I required Becky came back to me to confirm that they will be ready before Christmas.

We cant do anything about the quality of photos you send us, we do advise to send larger than 1MB for the best quality of print. The proof quality bears no impact on the final result so not sure on your point, either way - not a fair review, but sorry you are not pleased.
